Adam's Cafe

Best biscuits in the area. Bacon thicker than most places and no jiggly fat in sight. Real pounded meat in the chicken fried steak, not chopped meat. Pancakes super fluffy. Only disappointment was that the banana cream pie I ordered to-go wasn't as good as I expected (especially since I had ordered coconut cream pie lol!), as the cream had a commercial quality to it and the edge of the crust looked like it may have been a ready-made in an aluminum foil pan, so homemade might just apply to the filling, but will need to check out pies again: tough job, but someone's gotta do it. Also wish the owner would be more customer friendly to add to the atmosphere, so that's easily fixable if he gets more help to allow himself a breather. Brenda's had a more friendly vibe because of the interactions and people used to talk across the tables to each other more; I wonder if the artsier upscale redecorating has made them feel less at home and all will settle in more as time passes.

First time there on a Saturday at noon. 2 tables finishing up when we were seated. Nice clean place. Friendly service. Had the pastrami on rye with grilled onions and Dijon. Fries were great! Wife had the grilled chicken salad. Chicken was moist and tender. Very flavourful. We will be back

Nice homey feel, keeps the same energy as the previous owner. Food is great, got 2 Egg Breakfast. Was surprised how different but well rounded the home fries were. Spices of bell pepper/onions made my mouth water and toast on the side soothed my taste buds. Medium sized sausage was just right, bacon was so crispy, eggs were gooey ooey just like I like it. Will be coming back again, great work Adam.

Today is Adam's last day in business. Lasted 11 months. Heard Brenda is coming back. Not sure what happened. Adam's had great food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. Brenda's had this as well and am expecting the same. Adam's gave the place a nice fresh look which Brenda's will now have. I think the place will be closed until April 4. Best of luck to both parties.

Excellent breakfast! The pork green chili with home fries and 2 eggs is some of the best I've ever eaten. Husband had two eggs and biscuits and gravy and it was also very good. Cafe is very neat and clean and the service is excellent. And don't forget to have a homemade cinnamon roll!

Hello. My name is Patrick. My friend Paul and I visited there on Dec 17th 2023 at 8:00am. Transaction number: 100119. We were pleased with the atmosphere and the food was delicious. However, our server who's name I believe was Siar was nice and polite but forgetful. Twice I asked for Hot sauce and he forgot to bring it both times. Then, before leaving, I placed another order to go. I asked him for the same meal I had which was the sausage and egg omelette. Instead, he brought me the two egg breakfast. I didn't complain. My bill was: $32.68. I left him a $2.00 tip. My intention is not to get him in trouble. My intent is that you give him better training to do his job correctly. I have family in the restaurant business and I know that when the customer asks for something, the server should immediately fill the request. All he needed to do is go to the counter and get a bottle of hot sauce that I was able to see was there. There was a girl who filled our coffee who is not a server. I didn't get her name. She was fun and I wish she was our server. So please train your staff better to serve the customers.

Great little place just south of Grand. Excellent food, always clean and neat. Teena is a fantastic server. Definitely a go to anytime.

We consistently enjoy our meals here. Today our server Sharon was on top of her game. We're looking forward to their new dinner specials on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Oh, the pastries are irresistibly delicious.

That was the first time that I had been to this wonderful little neighborhood cafe.
I have a friend that goes there all the and he's the one that recommended it It's a great little local cafe and zi will definately go back.
Nice menue, good food decent prices and pleasant service.

My daughter and I eat here after church every Sunday. Better than Dennys my opinion but don’t listen to me. Try it yourself.

Love that I cal get 2 eggs hash browns and toast and not spend $10. Other diners in area should take notice.
