Peoria Cafe

We live coming to this Cafe, the atmosphere has family feel, the food is yummy and we love our sweet waitress Jenny. She's fun, fast and always makes us feel welcome.

This was my first visit to Phoenix, not counting the hours spent in the airport, of course. Family took me to breakfast at this family-owned-type local cafe for breakfast. It's not much to look at, but it is very neat and clean.

The service was excellent in every way, the food was amazing, and for a reasonable price (about $12.00), the plate was full.

I ordered the Texas French toast with bacon. The menu read three slices of French toast, so I expected 3 half-slices, I guess, and maybe 2 slices of bacon. Well, I got 3 whole slices (six half slices of toast and 6 or 7 slices of bacon. Holy moly! And my friends couldn't finish their biscuits and gravy, either. The food was tasty and a lot of it!

So, if you come to the Phoenix area, maybe in town for Spring Training like us, you might check out this diner/cafe. They havr a full menu AND serve breakfast all day. Who doesn't love that?!

Had a great lunch here today! It was BUSY when we arrived but we were seated quickly and had our drink order taken right away. We ordered the Philly cheese steak and the BLT. Both of the meals were delicious! The cheese steak was not greasy or salty. The steak was tender and flavorful and had sautéed mushrooms, onions, and green peppers in it. Really tasty! The BLT was perfect. The bread was toasted and crispy, FRESH lettuce and tomato (not soggy or questionable at all), and tasted just like we made this at home. The fries are crispy and tender in the middle. The ranch has good flavor, but it’s really runny so just beware when dipping and pouring the ranch…it gets messy. The flavor is there though and we take our Ranch dressing very seriously around these parts. Today was Fish Friday and they were HAND BATTERING AND FRYING FISH as we were eating…so awesome! It smelled so good…I should have had the fish. Definitely going back to try it!

I don’t know if this is true, but it seemed like everything was house made. It’s fresh and flavorful food, I would not be surprised if they made most of their stuff from scratch. They have a really big menu with a lot of offerings so I’m excited to go back and try other things.

The place is clean and the kitchen is open and they’re cooking right in front of you. There’s a diner to sit at and eat or tables and booths. It’s large and has a good ambiance.

Jenny, our server, was really awesome. Hopefully we see her on our next visit.

What a great surprise! Yummy meal, HUGE portions, hot food and excellent service! The atmosphere is perfect old school "mom and pop" diner! Chorizo and the salsa or server brought without asking ~ so good!! And homemade cinnamon roll 😋

After Dr. appointments, we decided to go grab some breakfast. Instead of going to one of our favorites, we decided to check out the Peoria Cafe. We started with their homemade cinnamon roll. OMG, was it good, fresh, a little sweet due to the icing, but still delicious. Greg ordered the eggs benedict, which had tomatoes and hashbrowns. We're not sure if the hollandaise sauce is fresh or not. Greg didn't care for the flavor but really liked the addition of tomatoes. I ordered their chicken fried steak, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit instead of toast. I would definitely order this again. It's one of the best biscuits I've ever had. The steak had great flavor and was very tender. Their gravy was good but needed a little more flavor, and the flour cooked a little more. I would order this dish again! Best of all, we had leftovers for breakfast the next day. All I had to do was reheat and fry up some more eggs!

This is the first time my wife and I have visited Peoria Cafe. The food was awesome and our server (Jenny) was excellent. She explained how everything here is homemade and she had no problem customizing our meals to our liking. We don't live too far from this place and we will become regulars now.
The cinnamon rolls are bomb!!!

Peoria cafe has always had a great cozy diner atmosphere. We were promptly seated at the diner booth and our order was taken as soon as we were ready. The pancakes are huge two can share for sure and the potatoes were nice and crispy. Customer service is always amazing and friendly. They really make you feel at home ❤

Every breakfast is 100% delicious. Today, however, I had the French Dip with Swiss. Omg! Best I’ve had in a long time. Lots of meat, fresh roll and creamy cheese. Didn’t eat the fries, I was too full.

It was my first time here today so I ordered from both the breakfast and lunch menu. It was so delicious!! That Everything Omelette was the best!! The Fried Steak was good too. Everything was great but to top it off, Heather was phenomenal!! She provided excellent service and was SMILING (unlike some lol). She's the reason for my 5-stars.

Popped in for a quick to go order. The staff was really nice and quick to accommodate. I got the Greek salad with chicken and my daughter got the turkey club. Both were excellent. The veggies were fresh and crispy and cold on the salad. The club was well stacked quality meat. We will be going back.

Dined in for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 845am. Was greeted when arriving and told to sit wherever made me comfortable. I really liked that choice of words. I ordered a coffee while looking over the menu. Seemed to be a typical cafe menu for AZ. Prices were typical. I ordered the Cowboy Special, which was the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns, eggs, and toast. The food came out quickly and filled the plate. The steak and gravy had good flavor. The eggs weren't seasoned, but s&p was provided. The hashbrowns were the perfect consistency, but did lack seasoning, again s&p was provided. Overall the flavor was good. It was a lot of food and I only ate half of it, taking the rest to-go. Service was great! I noticed on their menu they do All you can eat fish Friday.

Visited for the 1st time on a Saturday morning. Busy, but nothing too bad. Wait time was about 15 minutes.

Staff were very welcoming.

Had the 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and ham. Also had an order of biscuits and gravy.
Everything tasted great!

I think this might be my new breakfast place :)

We always go her at least once a month, today we went and the server took our order a drinks and never asked us how it was or if we needed anything or anything after the food was given. She asked the table in front of us and behind us many times if they were okay and if they needed anything. When we went to pay, she gave me the receipt and I put a zero on tip and signed it. Gave it back to her and we said have a great day and we were given a nasty attitude. When we were walking out the door I heard behind me no tip with an attitude and i would have went back in but I knew it would have been an issue if I went in, so I just called. I would have tipped her if she didn’t give attitude, would have asked us if we needed anything or checked in with us while we were there for almost an hour.

Came in for some fish today & had the pleasure of Jenny serving me. The food was good the service was amazing. I’ll definitely be back for a bite to eat and great conversation!

First time here and loved it! Jenny is an awesome server and seriously friendly. You’ll feel like you’re sitting down to a home cooked meal with family . Highly recommend.

This place was great. We went around noon and were all excited to see we could have breakfast still. The service was great and everyone was so sweet and pleasant. We will definitely return. Bonus points too because everyone found something on the menu. 😅

Awesome fish fry on friday! Great service, great prices and even at the busiest times service is excellent.
And the best Philly Cheese STEAK around!

Usually full of people. Old fashioned diner experience. Food is comfort food. Fish on fri/sat is wonderful. Prices have gotten expensive. Service can be slow but you are very happy when your food arrives.we

This place is our new favorite spot! The food is phenomenal! The staff is always friendly! People are just happy there and happy to be there!!!! Can't wait to try more of their many options!
