The Home Depot

This store is severely understaffed. I was trying to buy a washer/dryer and fridge. I had to wait a long time, but it turned out to be worth the wait. Ms. Perla Cervantes helped me. She took her time to explain everything and assisted me in selecting the items I needed. I ended up spending a little less than I had expected but got all the features I wanted and a good delivery date. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to, especially since it's right before the holidays. She was awesome. However, HD, you need to provide her with some assistance.

Regarding the store, I purchased three smart locks, all supposed to be silver. Unfortunately, one was black and another was missing the keys. Smh. I returned all three. It seems like these contractors are swapping out new items with old ones and stealing their heads off. The store was full of them, so especially in this store, make sure to thoroughly check anything you buy that appears to have been opened. Despite that, I didn't deduct any points for that issue. HD, shout out to PERLA though. She's an amazing employee!! Oh, and I can't forget about her supervisor, the Navy guy. I was trying to take advantage of a promotion, but I didn't understand the terms because I didn't read the teeny weeny tiny print. He was very understanding about it and we wound up laughing it off.

This was going to be A One Star but because of Kathy it became a 5 stars review…… Way to go Kathy !!!!!! This is what happen when you go the extra mile for a customer!!!!! This is what happen that almost made it a 1 star review before I interacted with Kathy , on 8-1-23 , I went to the returns department stood in line and watched the customer line decrease very very slow. I happen to see that there were only 3 cashiers working . I quickly noticed there was an employee going super, super slow 😱😱and was wearing sun shades . The other 2 cashiers had already help about 10 to 8 customers to his 1st customer that he so happen to have when I first got in line at the return department. This would have had been A 1 star review but because the super stars Kathy and Ray it because A 5 star review!!!!! When it was my turn to go to the cashier at the return department I got a very beautiful and Very sweet lady by the name Kathy she was very professional and gave me outstanding customer service. I happen to ask her what was the cashier’s name that was wearing the sun shades. She politely answered Charles. Also after walking around the store I so happen to bump into Mrs Kathy on her way towards going to her lunch break. God bless Mrs Kathy she even lead me to were I wanted to go and even took the time to show me how to make a key and Mr Ray help as will. I hope Home Depot will realize what kind of employees they have working for them they have very dad employees that are just there for pay checks and nothing else and they also have the most wonderful ones that care about people and the go well beyond 110% for there customer like Kathy and Ray. These to 2 employees changed my mind about coming back to this Home Depot again …… Please award 🥉 the Great employees ( Kathy & Ray ) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Everything is 8/10 always there. But more importantly the staff is what keeps that place going healthy. Everybody from Garden to Wood Works; They knew exactly where stuff is at and Information on it.

Alfred was helpful, I wasn't sure which fluorescent light bulbs to buy for the kitchen. Thanks Alfred for your help, lights look good in the kitchen.

Lysette and Whitney are absolutely amazing!!! I was lost in the paint department and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of!!! I can’t express enough how much I appreciate their help in getting me what I needed to make my classroom extra special this year <3

Compared to the Balch Springs store, this place rocks. No security bars upon entry is nice. And when you want a tool it's usually not locked up forcing you to find a clueless associate. Also, it's not near as hard to find an associate at the Mesquite locale. Inventory is better as well. Lines move great. Everyone isn't stacked on top of each other.

I don't know why this store is so night and day different from Balch Springs, but it's my preference when I have the choice.

I usually don't go to Home Depot but I had a few things to do and since my husband is no longer living I had to go myself. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. They showed me the location to where my items were and they ask me if I had any questions. Self checkout is very convenient for me (my hubby hated self checkout). The place is very clean and everything is easy to find.

Never anyone in plumbing. Always short on help. Everyone works at self checkout.

I get in and out. Staff/employees very helpful and patient.

Went to the store to buy turf for the backyard. I asked for help and Kevin helped me immediately. Very courteous and patient. Excellent customer service!

I work for invitation homes and I come in to order appliances all the time. My encounter with Destini has always been a great experience. She is very knowledgeable and she doesn’t sit around like some I see and not help you. She is always smiling an very nice takes care of my orders fast and makes sure all of my information is correct. She has the best customer service and she definitely needs to be recognized. Thank you for having such a great employee.

Had a big issue and the assistant manager Josh was great fixing that issue. Then I needed help loading my purchases which was a truck load it took 3 of the guys to load it all up.They were all just great and a huge help helping to me get going... THANKS EVERYONE THAT HELPED ME Y'ALL ARE GREAT....

The store associates are the best. Willing to go above and beyond to help with any customer needs even through inclement weather conditions.

Marco, Gael and especially Jesus. All three young Home Depot workers went out of there way to provide the best service I’ve ever experienced at Balch Springs Home Depot. These three young guys cut my racks that I was going to purchase at the size I needed.
I went home super happy 😊 for the great service!!!!!

My go to place. they have everything i need when doing projects around the house. My garden looks amazing

Stop by this location on my way home even though I stay in Cedar Hill. I had to get a spray Fogger and I could not find it so i went towards the customer service counter and I was immediately asked if I needed some help By Chris he told me what isle it was on but took the extra step and showed me where it was , then on top of that he educated me on the item i was buying and that meant a lot to me he took me to the checkout counter he volunteered to put it together then when he opened the box it was already assembled then on top of that he showed me how to charge it up and some more helpful information then again he carried it out to my car i was like WOW this is the BEST customer service I've ever experience in my life I can tell he is a peoples person which is good dealing with public again Chris I thank you whole hardly you're the best.

This location has good inventory. My visit was during Christmas shopping season so it was busy yet I received exceptional help with great service and genuine care from the employees. That is typical of Home Depot, but it is worth mention considering how easy it was to get in/out with an item from the shelf not available at another location during a peak shopping season.

My rating is for the level of service here. Every team member I encountered was VERY helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. From the front if the store to the back everyone I encountered that day greeted me and offered their help. This tells me that management is doing something right. I sought out the Asst Mgr to let him know how pleased I was with the service there. They make you feel like you as a shopper, matter. I will be frequenting this store more and the Town East store less. You all have WON my business. Much rather spend my money at a store where people are HAPPY you came there to shop.
