We dropped by on a whim for the first time today and were delighted by the charm of this small coffee shop renovated from an old fire house. Really appreciated how they sourced and support local businesses. We only ordered coffee, which was not only the most reasonably priced coffee around, but delicious. We will be back soon to try out the delicious looking menu as well.

Wow, the Wes Anderson vibe is real! This is old firehouse turned roasting shop is incredible. Exquisite attention to detail in both coffee and food... I had no idea toast could be so beautiful. And it was presented with the same care. Absolutely looking forward to going back.

UPDATE: Fantastic as always. Their food quality is out of this world and the coffee is outstanding. The service is always so great that we look forward to returning. Wish it was just a little closer to us in Binghamton.

I love what they did with the old firehouse! The coffee here is personally made! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting! Plus they are LGBTQ+ friendly here. The owners make everyone feel welcome. Great doing business with someone I went to high school with!

A definite stop when in town! Went for the first time and had an enjoyable experience. Easy to find off the road with great signage. Inside had a great coffee shop ambiance with both couch seating and tables. The menu itself is simple but with some daily/seasonal drink specials to try. There was a short wait as to be expected as each order is hand crafted but staff were great at greeting each guest and communicating their short wait. Overall taste wise the coffee was great. They had a few syrup flavors to choose from and dairy alternatives.

A true gem! We came for the coffee but stayed for the atmosphere. Or was it the reverse? Either way, this cafe and sandwich spot was a fantastic find. The quirky and tasteful decor (in an inventively reimagined firehouse), great coffee and friendly service make this place well worth a visit.

Local coffee, freshly made, and DELISH. Will definitely be coming back and telling friends and family. Highly recommend the iced caramel latte! Prices are reasonable for high quality coffee that is roasted right in the shop!

Best coffee around and even better people. They do their part in bringing a touch of culture to a fairly outdated area. The restaurant itself is one of the cleanest I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. Not to mention the friendly faces that greet you every time you walk in! Gorgeous refurbished firehouse with memorabilia and a clean, modern flare. The owners were there when I visited and shared their story with me which was inspiring and heartwarming. Very comfortable seating area, coffee was delicious, espresso was pulled to perfection, baked goods dropped off each morning...what more could you ask for?

Sweet local coffee shop inside of a converted fire station. A true local gem to this quaint little town. High quality and fresh coffee beans are roasted on site. The menu is short and sweet but offers everything a true coffee lover would be looking for. Alternative milks and light food menu available.

Love having a quality coffee shop nearby! They have a giant roaster in the shop. When the weather is nice, they open the old firehouse doors making a great indoor/outdoor space! The seating area is so comfortable! But above all, they have a variety of coffee options and espresso drinks that are all delicious!!

Wakeman Coffee has become a favorite! And usually a Sunday must! Everyone is friendly and remembers their customers! The food is a unique variety of toasts and sandwiches that are AMAZING!! The coffee is always brewed to perfection! Elevate your Dunkin and Starbucks tastebuds and get Wakeman Coffee instead!

I am not a coffee drinker but they offer a great selection for people like me. Their chai latte is DELICIOUS and not the traditionally super sweet kind you find in many coffee shops. I also encourage you to try a London Fog (Earl Grey tea and steamed milk).

In addition to having great drinks and snacks, they're great people - very kind and friendly. I'm so glad to have them in the community!

Very nice place and coffee has a great flavor! Nice to have something local with real coffee options. Attention to detail is very evident in the restoration of the firehouse and décor. Highly recommended, even if you have to go out of your way to try, it is worth it.

Stopped in for a quick iced coffee yesterday and I was BLOWN AWAY by the outstanding flavor of the coffee!!!! Why would you go anywhere else? It’s delicious and the staff is top notch.

Wow. Like really wow! The Press Coffee was hot and amazing, the sandwiches incredible, the local desserts decadent! Such a beautiful little spot, clean, friendly staff. We are most certainly going again and again to try more things.
