Elder's Ace Hardware of Bryson City

This used to be Clampitts, but now it's ELDERS Hardware.
Since it's under new ownership it has gone through some big changes.
The location remains the same but now there is a big addition across the street.
Everything for lawn care, barbecue, and even outdoor furniture.
The main store has also been upgraded.
And you get the same good service the store was always famous for.
Bryson City is lucky to have this big store in the little town.
I checked some prices on equipment etc. They are very compatible to the giant competitors.
Some things are even cheaper.
Handicap access and pets are welcome.
Check it out, they've got it all.

Very helpful and attentive staff -- helped us perfectly match a paint color in a vacation-rental house we were fixing up. The store is a greatly needed local supply center -- and though they might be a little more expensive than a 'big box' store like Lowes or Home Depot, they do have most everything you need, and very friendly staff to help you make sure you get what you need, without having to make repeat trips.

Highly recommend stopping in to see their new 'outdoor furniture' and other home goods space across the street!

I hope Delores and Sam see this review, because they’re absolutely awesome. I wish I could give them 5 stars by themselves. They fought relentlessly through IT issues and whatnot to ensure I got the tools and info I needed. Hats off to them and they deserve employee of the month parking spots. Otherwise, this store had a decent selection and was well taken care of.

What a helpful hardware store is supposed to be. From out of town, more used to the large box stores where a tram is needed in parking lot and then you get your day's steps walking aisles? Well at ACE in BC you can park right out front, pop in door, everything is close with staff willing to help from making keys, buying loose seed, paint and so, so much more. Thank you team ACE. Keep up the good service at times hard to find elsewhere.

Their selection is vast, but their prices are slightly higher than other places. Well worth the time saved though, 10/10 recommend! Also, their fully staffed so there isn't a wait at checkout or lack of help in the isles. Rare to see customer service this good at other hardware stores.

Nicest stuff around locally and very fair priced! Most of our porch and patio needs plus much more!

Delores is the most helpful and aware employee at this store. She should be the manager but probably doesn’t want it. She’s friendly, helpful and good people. Keep up the good work Delores!

If you're delivering here, I'm sorry, it's very tight getting in absolutely no parking overnight, they do however provide quick service for their customers and unload as quick as you're ready too!

Very interesting store with a lot of variety. You'll probably say, "Hey, I could use that" about 20 times or so while you're there.

Great place to shop. Everyone is super helpful and u can usually find what your looking for. They also do some small engine repairs like tune ups on mower chainsaws and weed eaters.

Old time hardware store, easy to get help and they stock about anything you could need….nice to see in this age of the box store

Love it here. It's so much bigger than you would think. The staff is excellent!! They really have everything you need.

Extremely nice staff, you can tell its family owned. The older lady at the cashier center is an absolute doll. I wanna take her home with me. She had me in stitches with her jokes.

This is the gold-standard of your "hometown hardware store". Essentially any and everything you might need for home maintenance is here. It is full of helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have very fair pricing - every time I comparison shop on Amazon, they are within 5%, and frequently cheaper. They service small engines, have a good selection of lumber, and all around excellent customer satisfaction. If you love that old-school handyman neighborly-friendly business style, this is the place to be.
