The UPS Store

Not only did we receive excellent service that we needed for notarizing some banking documents, but even more importantly we witnessed a contentious interaction between 1 of your desk employees & a very verbally abusive customer. She remained very calmed & assured in her communication with this man who was not listening & continued to be abusive. Additionally, she (Kayla) continued to move the transaction forward to completion so she could keep the line of customers that was building (rush hour of a bit) moving forward & processed. It was quite impressive!

Lastly, the issue that had created this situation in the 1st place was regarding Amazon’s return policy arrangement it has with The UPS Store. They heavily push the message that you can bring the return back with or without packaging as long as you have the QR code. It’s a very enticing offer to make returns to Amazon easier, but even I did not know that it had sizing limitations. And this was the crux of the irritated customer’s rage. Kayla explained to him that it was clearly outlined on the return page with the QR code.

I have to say that I have never noticed this explanation myself. So on one hand, I could understand the customer’s frustration, but certainly couldn’t condone his reaction or treatment of Kayla. And apparently this confusion over this information occurs regularly.

So I would like to recommend that Amazons communications to its customers in the refund section be more clear upfront. I understand they’re trying to do push marketing communications about this offer of convenience, but it is causing that much confusion and problems for The UPS Store staff, then there’s obviously a problem that needs to be fixed with clearer communication.

ALL the staff are friendly and helpful (and patient). They are almost always busy. I am usually there at least once a week (to collect mail and packages). While waiting in line, I have observed they always treat customers with respect no matter the situation. I have never felt as though they were trying to rush me out so they can attend the next person or do something else.
The attitude of the employees makes for a positive environment. I feel valued and am always happy when I leave because their friendliness and genuine smiles do make others feel good.

I don’t live in the area but have had to frequent this UPS for Amazon returns and to print some documents while staying at a rental nearby. I feel like the employees helping me are so friendly and helpful I’m almost taken aback by it because it’s so rare to find these days. Thanks for making mundane errands such an enjoyable experience!

Such friendliness. Lynda has helped me last few times and she is amazing. Friendly and helpful. All were professional and helpful prior also.

The employees at UPS on 520 in Merritt Island are very efficient, personable and helpful. Lee is always friendly and positive even when the store is extremely busy!

Staff is very courteous and friendly and proficient. Typically there is a line though just my opinion but they probably could use a second person on the second register.

Cory and Shawn are always friendly and efficient. Going to The UPS store in Merritt Island is more like saying a quick hello to friends rather than an errand. Store is always clean and organized also.

Update I love the new self-serve machine it's so much easier to go in especially if there's a line. I guess when everybody gets used to it that's going to be a long line for that

I think you guys need to put a UPS store in North Merritt Island. The wait time and the service is terrible.

The customer service is outstanding.
The Team Member at the Merritt Island Causeway Store was very kind and we had a very short wait in the line. Everything was clean and organized.

I’ve shipped here a lot. it’s not perfect but in dozens of trips my packages have always made it, and no one has been rude. they are always very busy, so keep that in mind before expecting someone to cater to your every whim. think about how would you feel working with a constant line of people waiting and overall what a good job they do. thank you to all the employees here who really do a fantastic job.

They have a great staff they treated me with professionalism and respect however some customers can be very rude and should not be allowed to come back in the store. Either way the manager took care of business and looked after the customers safety I will always have your six great job 👍

No one beats UPS for ease of returns. You walk in, they take over from there. No fuss, no muss

They are doing their very best with what they are given. The store is too small. This is a huge residential area. I gave the five star review. The employees are trying their best to keep up wonderfully. At the same time they have to work with customer service which also means working with the public which also means a lot of different types of people to come and try to understand every single one good job. I also need to mention there needs to be a bigger store you will make more money on top of that because you will keep more customers coming through the door instead of walking away.

I’ve been to this little UPS store on several different occasions & have never had any problems. The employees were always friendly & helpful….& although they were up to their eyeballs in lots of packing & labeling, they still had patience & a smile for me.

The staff at this location are excellent! I go a few times a month, and I'm surprised at how nasty some of the patrons are to them. They are so courteous and always keep a smile on their face. There is always a line of people waiting, and they are very quick and efficient. It's so nice to get great customer service these days!!
