Donutology at the Trolley

I got the mocha and chocolate long John. It was very good, you did need to add sugar packets to the coffee if you didn't want it black. Overall the vibes are nice, the inside is very cool, and historical. I also have to say that they play music, but not all of it is family appropriate.

We actually came towards the end of the night so they didn't have their full selection available, which is completely understandable. It was a bit cold outside so it was nice to go on the bus and sit down and have a late night treat. Such a cool idea to have it in a trolley and it was super charming and cozy inside. The neighborhood is nice and a fun place to walk around. They also have a variety of beverages to choose from.

I went to check out the River Market location for Donutology and was not disappointed!

I’m not super adventurous with my donuts so I got a cake donut with white icing. Fresh and delicious!

I also got the Jelly Donut Martini ( they serve alcohol after 2pm) which was a decent blend of sweet and tart. Adding the sprinkles definitely helps with the sweet flavor.

Recommended as a low-key, intimate, evening/night spot to lounge (if any donuts remain that late).

Best Doughnuts I ever had. Awesome atmosphere. Girl taking my order was very courteous as well. By far, it's my favorite place in KC.

Ordered the party pack for my dog’s birthday and was very happy with the results! The staff were attentive and made sure that the donuts were dog friendly. They even wrote a happy birthday greeting on the box! Exceptional service and delicious donuts!

Great coffee option for river market area. Just like all Made in KC coffee shops, this one has quality coffee and tea options. Not many food options, but still a few bakery items. The setting/atmosphere sets this one apart though. Very unique seating inside with great outdoor seating too.

My favorite cafe of the Made in KC shops. They took an old streetcar and converted it into a coffee shop near the River Market filled with good treats, lil goodies, and cute vibe. You can order from the window or climb inside. The inside of the car also includes many small business goods but highlights it being a streetcar shop. It's well worth a chai or latte after the River Market or an after treat from Betty Rae's since it's right across the shop.

Great atmosphere. The people working are always fun and kind. We always ask for the mini donuts and give us whatever flavors, so it's a surprise. It makes for a fun little outing with the family.

Great morning atmosphere while waiting on fresh baked mini 🍩's which were the 💣. It's somewhat pricey but latte and mocha ☕ were good also with some nice retro music 🎶

Beautiful inside and out, super cozy and I love the story behind it. A Kansas City must see! Staff was super friendly, and the kombucha the staff suggested was super yummy!

Great tasting coffee and the staff is very quick to get orders out. Order from the outside walk-up window or go inside to place an order/look at merch. The trolly itself is also a cool venue for photos. Eat a pastry on their outdoor deck while you watch cute little birds hopping around. Maybe you will get lucky and see someone walking a cute dog.

Couldn’t have been a better way to start my morning! I know we are all in on the coffee, but the tea based drinks are to die for, and go beyond what is normally available. A white tea fog is my new favorite drink ever!

Went in a few times and Kim was operating the coffee shop each day. She’s been a pleasure to interact with and makes a decent coffee. The pastry options and the waffle breakfast sandwich are great for a quick snack with my coffee.
This place is better for nice days and seems to be closed when it’s cold out.
I like to see places that highlight local made goods, and this cafe stop does just that.

Great spot to grab donuts with the kids before jumping in the street car to Union Station to see the model train exhibit. Kids voted these their favorite donuts in KC.

We live across the street and have been so excited about this opening. Our first visit today was lovely! Super nice barista, delicious drink and the inside of this little streetcar turned out so cute! Can't wait to hit up this place frequently!

Recently moved to the area and I have walked to the Trolley for coffee now a few times. I love the accessibility of ordering from the window. The kind employee already knows my order just after a couple visits! Coffee is fantastic! Definitely will continue to return.
