Dollar General

THIS IS A BRAND NEW STORE.
Nice level parking lot, unfortunately not big enough. Very large with wide isles, automatic double doors with plenary of carts.
There is a great selection of frozen food, dairy and cereal, just to name a few thing that are so much cheaper than the grocery store. No produce though. This is my first stop before shopping for anything, cleaning supplies, paper goods dog food, hygiene products, they have it all. Redbox and ice machine are located outside. Always crowded but cashiers are hard workers and very friendly. And they have bathrooms! Big plus.

Helpful employees, lots of stock, plenty of parking.

@T Phillips the reason for the new store not having wine when they opened was because they'd applied for the license to sell/carry several months prior, and had yet to receive it even after the new store had been opened for some time. That's not their fault. All they can do is apply for it and wait until their request is granted. I feel it should have been a situation of the current license being transferred to the new store since they moved so close to the old store, but I do understand there's protocol that must be followed. This is by far my favorite Dollar General store. The employees are SUPER kind, respectful, and always willing to assist. I wish ALL Dollar General stores had employees like we are fortunate to have here in Southside. Keep up the great work guys!!!

This newly reopened store has the best employees working there. I asked for an item on a top shelf. I was shocked by the response of yes mam and they went fur a ladder. I wish i had noticed her name. Honestly most Dollar General's are so understaff or overwhelmed that they are robots at times. I never have found this to be the case so far in this one. Always greeted. Employees are helpful and treat myself and others with respect and friendliness.

My husband and I went to the grand opening of the new store and I thought it was great. It was a large store and looked like a grocery store. It has food and drink coolers almost all the way down the right side of the store. It has all types of food and other household supplies that you might want.

Clean store without clutter, during Grand Opening week. Nice selections in a well lit store. Looking forward to visiting again. Blessings.

This store is laid out where it makes you shopping experience pleasant and you find things quickly and easily. No complaints here.

Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. I enjoy seeing Donna there because she always makes you feel welcomed.

Just went through the self check out, loved it! Card only, no alcohol, but it was worth it not to have to stand in line.

Dollar General would be a great go to place for a quick shopping trip if they only had more cashiers so you didn't have to wait so long to get checked out.

A lot of good name brands at a good price, and the cashier that helped me, Jess, was so helpful! Will make it a point to go there again.

Clover Valley and D G product brands help my grocery dollars go almost twice as far. I never have to sacrifice quality for savings.

Always stop at dollar General and easy to get in and out. The. Management is very friendly.

My go to store for bathroom goods,cleaning supplies even groceries,better prices than Wal-Mart usually!

The crew there is by far the nicest group of people. They will go above and beyond to help you out.

Like their prices and I had rather go there than Walmart to may people and they never have my furbabies food

Love it very nice employee and clean place and pet friendly.

If you need something quick , there's usually one down the street. And have a good selection.

I really enjoy shopping here. Great value and just about anything you want here.
