Big Lots

I love this store. I go just to walk around and see what's new. I find the best items! I get seasonings and other items that I haven't seen anywhere else. The customer service is great. The cashiers are friendly and it's overall a great shopping experience.

This place has a lot of things cheaper than Walmart. And if you belong to there list on savings, you will save a lot more. The place is always clean. But most of all they have people that speak English. You go into other stores, ( Walmart ) and you can never find anyone that speaks English anymore. And no, I don't work at Big Lots, I work at Walmart.

I briefly spoke with the manager, Heather, and I could see she is so dedicated to her role (despite personal matters)!

I wish managerial roles at retail stores would offer better work-life balance, especially for team members like Heather, that are committed to improving the quality of customer service and the in-store shopping experience.

Never in a million years did I think I'd be be writing a review about a big box store. To be blunt, I'm not really a fan of them. That being said, I feel the need to write one about the Brandon Big Lots. First, when customer service is at an all time low, they stand out. Last weekend my wife and I were picking up some Easter treats and an employee noticed me carrying a hand basket which was pretty full, and asked me if we needed a cart. I said yes and he hustled to grab one a brought it too us. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. You never know what you'll find at Big Lots, but I always seem to find something I can't live without. During this time where the dollar doesn't go far, you can get more bang for your buck at Big Lots.

The cashiers were able to keep the lines moving. The store is clean and has great selections. Will definitely be back.

Nikki and Ashley in the furniture section are the bomb. They help me return a dresser that I bought online with no issues and were very pleasant and efficient. I think they deserve raises.

Love Big Lot's the discount's and the variety of great finds! I'm writing this review to express my appreciation for the friendly, helpful staff at the store on Bloomigdale Avenue in Brandon, FL . I frequent this location often, the customer service here is excellent! The store is always clean, shelves organized, products neatly displayed and priced. Thanks for the positive shopping experience at This store and my big rewards coupons!

Items are ALWAYS stocked and prices are great. Colors items are at times better. Clearance what!!! Such great choices. The Best part too after shopping I go next door eat at the latin market. Bloomingdale my cafe con leche..

I bought a bench ,always God service. Prices are ok but the service make the difference. I bought a bench, and i am surprised by the quality . Easy to ensemble.

It was my first time visiting the store and the customer service was excellent icluding all personnel. That's my mom in the patio set I get.

The store was very clean and the staff was so friendly and attentive from the moment we walked through the door. We were given a nice greeting, followed by an offer for assistance from another staff member. The discounts were generous and they had a decent selection of food, despite the fact that they are not advertising as a food market. Overall, it's a 5 🌟 review from me.

These ladys who work here are angels... ive just moved here and everytime i go in the store i come out smiling amd sometimes crying from the laughter and faith in humanity that these amazing people restore in me.. the workers here are just human but they care about things and the people that come in and are just simply kind.. i send my greatest gratitude for these employees🙏

This is a discount store, a bit of everything, like small appliances, etc.

The store was super clean, well stocked, organized and all of the staff was attentive and friendly. When a bit of a line formed at checkout, several employees immediately jumped in to take care of it. They have the best selection of home, fall and holiday decor. Kudos to the managers and staff at this location.

My experience here each time I have gone has been good. Staff has always been nice and very helpful. I’ve bought things from food to Christmas decorations here.

Great selection staff very helpful & friendly, clean store

The people here were awesome! We needed a large (200#) tv console & 2 nightstands. Our salesman John went back 3 or 4 times checking stock for us and was very helpful. He & another guy that I didn’t get his name, explained how they would be happy to hold it for us until we could come back & get it. Super nice guys. When we came back to pick it all up we didn’t realize that they wouldn’t ALL be boxed to assemble later, the nightstands were already assembled and in bigger boxes, making it a very tight fit in the van! But Heather & the other John muscled the heavy box in & then the other 2 as well. They rock! We were an hour from home and now didn’t have to make a return trip. Kudos to all these employees who worked so hard & were so nice in helping us. You’re very much appreciated....THANK YOU!
