Frattallone's Hardware & Garden

This is much like the old fashioned hardware store. The aisles are much closer together than a big box store. They are packing a huge amount of products and services into a smaller area. Their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The part I like best is that I can walk into the store with a bolt or screw and I can get help finding the exact match. Then I can just buy as many as I need, rather than a whole box.

Typical newer Ace Hardware, nothing special except that it's new and clean. Sometimes the older stores suffer from their age witch seems to rub off on staff in turn effecting motivation and customer service.

I arrived at the store 7:45 pm. New it was near closing time, but new they would give me the help I needed. My bathroom drain had become clogged and it ended up being hard to unclog. A wonderful young man helped me in the section. He read thru labels to ensure I got what I needed. With all the products he was diligent to making sure I left with what I needed. The store than closed when I left. Thank You so much to the young man as I was able to unclog both drains and could not have done it without his help. Kudos to an employee that cares👏😊

Once again, Ace was, (Is), The Place! Needed some quick odds and ends supplies for painting & electrical work. Was helped immediately and found what I needed. Even though it was 5° out, some gardening items caught my eye as well. They weren't just left overs from last year, but rather fully stocked items for the upcoming year. Fast, Friendly and reasonably priced.

The cashier was very helpful and informative. I can always count on someone offering their assistance within 1 minute of walking through the door. Unlike the big box stores. It takes forever to find someone to help you. Unless of course you need paint. There is always someone behind the counter there.

I've been visiting this Ace regularly for the few years I've owned a home nearby. I've made some larger purchases (power equipment) as well small purchases (basic parts) and my experience has been consistent.

The primary reason this store stands out is that it's much easier to get assistance for something than a big box store. To that end I usually visit this store if I need any kind of employee interaction, buying paint for example. It's also not very busy a lot of the time, so for me it's well worth paying the extra few dollars and getting in and out quickly.

The location is hard to beat as well, with plentiful parking and very easy access.

I have yet to use the store's shop or services, but I don't think it would be any different than what I've come to expect here.

Updated 8-17. Been coming here for years now. Was in and out in 2 minutes for air filter. Was told exactly where and they verified at the checkout I had the correct one. The staff continue their excellent service. Thank you again!

Went in for a quick few things. Ending up talking with Fred. He was a great help and very personable. Came in looking for a jerryrig fix and he found me the actual piece I needed for replacement. Thanks again Fred.

I absolutely love this place there always very courteous they want to help you they're eager to make sure that you get what you need and they all know what they're talking about there are a few elderly people there that are employees over this place for many many years and they know everything about anything related to hardware

They usually have what I need and are happy to help with it. Their stores aren't the size of warehouses, but I don't usually need a warehouse to find a washer or a length of pipe. Being a retail cooperative, my purchases support people like me and not some corporate executive somewhere and I prefer that. When given the choice, I try to shop at Ace.

Great staff I wish I could recall the name of the gentleman that helped me piece together what no home improvement store could. Ask the staff there's a few old sports here that will fix what you need. Honest knowledgeable and I fear a world where we dont have our neighborhood Ace Hardware. This is one of the favorites. Don't bother buying and returning from the one on Foley....

Full service retail is dying, but not here. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. I trust them with servicing my lawn mower and snowblower every year and go there anytime I need to talk to somebody how about a project.

Friendly staff, great selection of quality yard tools, hardware, etc. I bought a new rake, leaf bags, toilet flapper seal, and was very impressed with the helpful staff, I'll avoid Home Depot and Lowes if I can help it. Store was recently remodeled from the Cub Foods move in. Bonus: all of my items were made in USA and the staffer helped bring my items to my car since I was carrying my toddler!

I have been going to this Ace since I moved to Blaine in 1995. I've had windows and screens fixed, mower blades sharpened, countless questions answered, and been able to find any hardware I need for the task. If you need a bolt, screw, nut, washer, or hook of any kind these folks have it!

Great store. Always lots of friendly knowledgeable help. Parking is well lit and plentiful. Great selection of just about anything you are looking for, and reasonably priced.

Friendly, helpful staff. I was looking for a replacement part for my outside faucet. They did not have it in the diameter I needed, but my house was built in 1960, and I'm sure they use different dimensions in houses these days. In most cases, Frattallone's Ace has what I need.

I can’t speak highly enough about the customer service at this store. My husband and I had help from Al, Sydney, and another girl that I didn’t catch the name of. They were all extremely kind and so helpful!
