Nirvana Coffee Bar and Game Lounge

This is a great place! Drinks are really good and they serve food too.
This would be a good place to play Dungeons & Dragons.
They also have live music every Friday and Saturday night.

This place is so neat! The decor is wonderful. We came one Saturday night for the music - which by the way was great. We were only going to get coffee but ended up getting food also. Both were delicious!! Service is great. I can’t say a bad thing.

Randomly dropped by this place on a Sunday morning. It's an absolute hidden gem. There's a space and place for all kinds of vibes here. From a game room to an instagram photo booth, this is NOT your run of the mill hipster coffee shop! Come by yourself or with friends for more fun! The owner is so nice and enthusiastic in her welcome as well! (I didn't get paid for this review!) Come one, come all!

Came in for my first time today and it was wonderful, the owner is very personable and the coffee is delightful. Got the chance to try their chai and it was probably the best I've had, it is perfectly spiced and not too sweet. Will 100% come back to this establishment, it is cozy and a very welcoming environment

This is literally heaven. So far I've been twice. It's not that close to home to be able to visit everyday and I wish it was!!
1st experience: Went in the morning and had a delicious latte and the espresso was absolutely delicious and energizing! My husband had a sandwich or something and he said that was good, just wish they had different cheese choices.
2nd experience: went later at night with a friend to catch up and was in for a whole spin! Did NOT know this place had their liquor license and they had some sort of rap battle event? Going on! It was weird because i wasn't expecting that atmosphere that night but it was also really cool to see some local artists actually trying to get some exposure!

I absolutely love that this place supports all local artists! They have local handmade jewelry for sale! (I had to snag some of those too!) they have paintings up on display and for sale! (Honestly want some of those as well)
And they had music artists putting on a show. Absolutely love and adore this place and wish I could be there everyday! Let me know if you plan to open one in North KC/ Gladstone area 💕

Very cool spot! Great for hanging out for any length of time, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, nice rotation of live local music in a small setting. Staff is friendly and welcoming, they're excited about serving the items on their menu. Buddy the Elf would agree this is the world's best cup of coffee. My caramel latte was yummy and caramelly just like I would make myself at home😍 I'll be back in a couple weeks ready to try more!

Great place for coffee alcohol food music art of any type

Great coffee and tea and tons of love put into this shop. There's pool, air hockey, darts, game systems and an impressive amount of board games all free to play.
We loved trying out the "Nirvana room" (a cozy room with a state-of-the-art massage chair and beautiful ambient lights).
Definitely check this place out!

An absolutely lovely cafe, good food, great customer service and just flat out good people. I would recommend it for daily coffee or just a hang out spot!

Love this place sooo much. Me and my friends come here almost every day after school to vibe and just live life.
I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes chill and comfy environments.
The only thing I’d suggest is to keep it open a bit longer. You guys would get a lot more business and money to do more events!

Love coming here with friends and family, the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing and the food and coffee is splendid! I would definitely recommend stopping by and meeting the owner as well! Hes a really nice man who takes care of the place and his customers, and the place overall is wonderful.

We tried this place for the first time per a recommendation from the Englewoods Arts District. From the first moment stepping in, the vibe was incredibly chill with lofi music playing in the background and gorgeous decor. The drinks are reasonably priced and came out quickly, and they were incredible! We ordered iced lattes with different flavors and both were wonderful. The owner greeted us and was super friendly as well. Definitely give this place a try!

Love love love! The lady that works there is so nice and enthusiastic! It's spacious and beautifully put together for gamers, coffee lovers, and group activities! Board games, console games, pool table, heck even a solitude room! Check it out! Be sure yo look for special events after closing in the evenings!

Absolutely loved it. Host is very gracious. You can relax on the sofa, listen to some music, and enjoy a good cocktail or a signature latte.

Beautiful and relaxing space, friendly staff, lots of comfy seating, and great coffee! Tasteful aesthetic choices and even a dedicated selfie nook! My go to coffee shop in West Independence. The Nirvana Signature drink is especially good.

Sooo happy to have such a great little coffee shop in the neighborhood now! Laid back environment, awesome customer service and amazing coffee! We will be back!

Service and coffee was great! I do wish they had more pastries to choose from but I'm sure that will come with time. I loved the atmosphere and will definitely come here to work more often, and bring friends in the evenings for games!

The environment is extremely relaxing, it’s one of my favorite places to visit after school. The food and drinks are made extremely well, it’s refreshing to be able to just spend time in such a comforting place with friends or even alone. The game room is cozy and provides enough entertainment to never get bored, the calming atmosphere is the perfect place to study as well. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly, the owner is a very kind and considerate man. Amazing place I love it!

I had a butter pecan latte. The people there were absolutely amazing. I will be returning over and over again
