Rooster's Country Cafe

From the outside it's kinda plain. Inside it's got a cute decore. Even the table clothe is cute. I ordered the Mar Y Tierra plate for one. It's so good. Lots of food too. The young lady that waited on me was so nice and friendly. This is a must for anyone wanting some delicious food.

We have had several Wounded Warrior Project group meeting here over the last couple years, and the owners are always very attentive to us. Today we presented an official Wounded Warrior Project plaque to them to thank them for their hospitality. The food and atmosphere are always great, and the entire staff always takes great care of us and all their customers. The owners are always very visible and engaged with their customers which is great to see. Thank you for always providing us with a great experience!

Omg food was so good. Pancakes were fluffy! After we ordered our food was brought out within 10 minutes! It was so fast! Yes we will be back!

1st time here and loved it. (Note to self bring a jacket back area is freezing cold). They offer tacos in small and large so we ordered the Taco Loco for $3.99 (Eggs, chorizo, potato, cheese, and bacon with side of beans) it was the large taco. They also offer a 5% discount on your order if you check in. Love the hours and they have daily specials too and if you're looking for a place to drink and eat They serve beer here too and have happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. If you decide to stop by ask for Marrissa she is very friendly and attentive with a great attitude.

Real homemade menu. Nice friendly staff. Clean and decorated like farm country style. We went for breakfast. Delicious. Can't wait to try their specials.

It's a little out of the way fot people used to the usual spots in Harlingen, but I thought the seafood botana style Mar y Tiera was worth the trip. I don't think I'll be a regular, but the menu looked good enough that I plan on going back.

My husband and I went to this restaurant this morning. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back. This was my breakfast. They have a large menu of American and Mexican food.

Loved the atmosphere, the service was excellent. Christian made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious! We had the steak chicharoones and the chipotle chicken plate, both were very good! Will definitely come back!

Visited again this past weekend ( 8/24 ).
My wife & I were greeted by a waitress named Cathy. It was such a pleasure to have gotten to meet her. Great personality & great values for such a young girl. Didn't think that was a trait anymore. On top of our great service the food was just as good as always. Newly renovated main dining area is a great upgrade. Rooster's will not disappoint!

First time to this restaurant 😋 and very happy I chose to try it! Terrific food, great service nice atmosphere 👌 . Found out they serve cornbeef hash . Not very many places serve this item. My omelette was very tasty. I will definitively come back and bring more friends with me!😋

First time here, food was great🙂, service was excellent. Owner Becky came to greet my husband and I, told us all about all the delicious meals they serve😋. Definitely coming back.

Food was delicious but guacamole was beyond superior! Made to order with extremely fresh cut avocados, tomatoes, onions and jalapeños on the side. Owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Skip the chain restaurants! This is my new local favorite.

Second time there , had lunch and it was like eating at home. Loved it. Plate portions excellent couldn't finish mine.. First time was breakfast and it was the same. Service was excellent!

I was visiting from out of town. This was a great Cafe with a combo of Mexican and American food. Friendly staff. The beautiful owner greeted us walking in. We had country fried bacon as an appetizer and it was out of this world!

Looked up this place on google and saw some good reviews. Had to try it out and it was amazing!! The breakfast was delicious and hot, I recommend the taco loco if you are really hungry and the barbacoa on the weekend is superb! This is now my new breakfast spot :)
