I went there today and had to make an appointment a week ago and I can’t help but empathize at small clinics like this one trying to pivot in the middle of covid the one lady is doing everything and trying to be safe at the same time we all need to slow down and be respectful all she is trying to do is keep customers safe and herself people need to chill !!!

Great eye doctor. Very attentive & professional. Office staff is sorely lacking. Would not get my frames there.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just felt the need to share my experience here. I first want to say that this has NOTHING to do with Dr. Henderson. She’s great! And to my knowledge she is not actually associated with the Vision Center directly. My issue is with the Vision Center itself (where you actually pick out and order your glasses). I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I think the last time I went was truly the last. I picked out some frames that I thought were rather cute and it took almost 15 minutes for someone to actually start checking us out. The lady told me that I needed to change frames because my prescription was too high to be able to fit in wire frames. I had no issues with that and went to find different frames. The woman followed me though and rushed me to pick some different ones. Before I could even look she was picking frames for me. And ushering me back to the counter. And then we proceeded to sit there for two hours. I’m not even kidding. It took 2 hours for her to measure my eyes and check us out. For a long time we were just sitting in silence. I was watching the clock the entire time. I’ve never been in the vision center for so long in my life. She finally finished and said I could go to the checkout. And to top it all off, they refused to write down my eye measurements on the prescription sheet. I don’t know why. They had always done it in the past. So even if I wanted to get frames online I wouldn’t be able to because they didn’t fully fill out my prescription paper. What’s the point of even knowing your prescription if you’re given an incomplete prescription paper? So to sum it up: the lady that measured my eyes picked out my glasses for me which I hated, it took forever to even get my eyes measured and for her to actually put the order in, and they wouldn’t give me my eye measurements. They just left that entire section of the paper blank. Overall my entire trip to the eye doctor ended up being around 3 hours and 30 minutes, which is so crazy looking back at it. No trip to the vision center should ever take that long.

Went here to save some money on frames. Waited about 15 minutes. Then the lady working with braids asked me what kind of insurance I have. I showed her my card and she told me to call my job to get more information on vision benefits. Then told me to call my husband's job when I explained he carried the coverage. Hows that for customer service! I decided to go elsewhere. Where the employees verify coverage, ect.

Have been waiting for over a month for replacement frames because they scratched the original. Every time i go to check on them, i have to wait for the associate to stop chatting with others out of the area!!!!! Now they tell me that the frames are on back order and dont know when or if i will ever get them. Cant save money if product is useless. Way to go Walmart...again!!
