Great tasting food, plentiful options to choose from that will satisfy any palate. I had the Eggs Benedict with the salmon which was outstanding, my wife had the omelette with spinach, mushrooms, and salmon. I tried hers, and it was very tasty, light and fluffy omelette. The prices are a little more than you would traditionally pay for a breakfast but then again, you are eating higher end ingredients like the salmon. Would I go back? Absolutely!

We came for breakfast/ brunch around 9 am. It was amazing. Literally not one complaint. I had the salmon eggs Benedict and next time I’m going to try the crab cake eggs Benedict. Even the fruit was amazing

Very cute but small place, so plan accordingly. There is some outdoor seating available for smaller parties. I was part of a group of six, and although there's not much space, the staff was extremely accommodating and made it work for us inside within a timely manner! They have such an extensive menu with food and drink options. The food for us took a little bit longer to prepare, but that's to be expected. Great staff and food overall!

The food was delicious. It is a small place, but very cozy and with a cute decor and portraits of famous people on the walls. All the items on the menu are named for various famous people too! We had a group of 10, so I had called ahead and made sure they could handle us. We were told it was best either before 10 am or after 12:30 pm. so we came later. We arrived a few minutes ahead and had a brief wait outside, but were seated fairly quickly. The service was excellent and we were all able to have separate checks. The Eggs Benedict selections are excellent, and the French toast with fruit topping and Nutella was also very yummy! I ordered the "Edison" french toast with cheese in the middle and fresh fruit and fruit compote on top, plus a Chai Tea Latte which is sinfully rich and topped with creamy foam and cinnamon. Others had omlettes said they were "okay" so I'd recommend the Eggs Benedict selections or the French toast ... and maybe the salads and sandwiches also, but I haven't had those yet ... so much to try! The owner was very welcoming and accommodating and invited us to come again ... and I'm sure we will!

I can’t shut up about Famous Cafe. Extremely lucky to have a place with great food, peak atmosphere, and amazing servers and baristas to the east side. Get the ice cream latte for a literal scoop of ice cream in your drink. Eggs benedict options for days (though I am stuck on the van gogh)

Great breakfast spot. Has it all... great menu, great food, pleasant and attentive service, and cool neon sign offering us all the absolution we need. Expect it's great for lunch as well. 👍

After a very busy week, this place was such an amazing pick me up!! Food was super good and fresh. Service was amazing!! And the matcha… best matcha I’ve ever had (real matcha drinkers… you have to get the matcha!) I left with a smile on my face :)) Thank you for an amazing breakfast!

At first glance it may not make sense. Why is Michael Jackson staring at me while I eat my omelette? Why is Marie Antoinette giggling at me while I drink my matcha? But with each bite of my Marilyn Monroe Burger, the tart pesto combining beautifully with the medium rare beef, it dawned on me: didn’t Sir Isaac Newton have to eat too? And isn’t good food the foundation of a good life? A famous life? It all started to make sense.

The famous, not famous, soon to be famous, and famous only in their own mind all have to eat and why not eat at famous cafe? Meals fit for kings and queens and everything in between. Stop by and say hello to King Arthur and Cleopatra and try to figure out what they would get (my best guess: Caesar omelette for the King and of course the Cleopatra omelette for the Queen).

Another AMAZING breakfast at Famous Cafe. The beautiful and delicious food came out quickly. This is my third time - thank you for another fantastic experience. I’ll be back again soon!

For some reason is so hard to find good oat coffee ,but not here! Amazing atmosphere, delicious and quick food and friendly staff. Very recommend !

Wonderful new cafe in Pittsburgh. Perfect for brunch and lunch. The ambiance is just perfect, and the decor is well curated.
Now the more important aspect...the Food!! So delicious and filling! Loved the name choices on the menu, and the speed of service.

Wonderful service and mindblowingly great food! We had brunch at this place on our trip to Pittsburgh recently. We were lucky to get a table right away on Sunday. There was a longer line up later in the morning!

The Cleopatra omelette was heavenly... I'm going to be thinking about it for the rest of my life

What a hidden gem!!! The menu alone was exciting. And when the food came out we were not disappointed. The Darwin French toast was delicious and well balanced. My partner got the Donatello with home fries and when I say these were the best home fries I have ever had I’m not lying! Perfectly crispy and seasoned! We can’t wait to return and try more!
The atmosphere was perfect. With big beautiful windows that give u the indoor out door feeling to the adorable decor it’s was inviting and comfortable. The music wasn’t too loud, and we didn’t feel like we were sitting on top the guest next to us.
The staff were friendly and helpful. And honestly looked liked they loved their jobs with playful attitudes and bodily language they make you feel welcome and comfortable, and you can’t help but leave with a big smile on your face.

This restaurant is one of the best brunch restaurants in Pittsburgh. I know this restaurant in Instagram and go there for brunch two days in a row. I am down to go again.

The design of the restaurant is cool. The dishes are named after famous people. For example, the egg Benedict dishes are named after famous artist and the sandwiches are named after famous musicians. Also, the restroom has photos of famous actors and actress.

For the two times I visited the restaurant, my friends and I ordered the Picasso (egg Benedict), the Einstein (French toast) and Ceasar (omelettes). An interesting fact about the dishes there is that you get salad by default instead of potato, which makes the dishes a lot healthier compared to other brunch restaurants.

The Picasso (egg Benedict) is well cooked and the sauce is creamy. The combination of the egg, the smoked salmon and the scone is well balanced. This is the first time I do not want to finish a dish because it taste so good. The portion of this dish is not big, so I high recommend people to try it out if they are not super hungry.

My friend ordered the Eistien (French toast). He expected it to be the sweet french toast. It turned out to be a more savory one. There are two pieces of French toast. Both are pan fried and they are crispy. In the middle, they put in some tomatoes and cheese. On top of the french toast are two sunny side up eggs. You can eat the toast with the eggs so that you can taste the crispy toast, cheese and the creamy eggs at the same time.

The Ceasar (omelettes) is the reason I go to the restaurants the second day. I saw people ordered it and they looked tasty and in large portion. The omelette is served with two toasts. I choose the sour dough. For people who do not like the sour flavor of the dough, the source flavor of the sour dough is not intense. The omelette is is soft. By putting the smoked salmon and omelette on top of the sour dough, I can enjoy the crispy source dough, the soft omelette and the tasty smoked salmon at the same time, which is super enjoyable.

I also saw a lot of people order the cinnamon balls, which I really want to try!

My dine-in experience at this cute café was very good. It is moderately priced, and they are friendly, fast and efficient! We came with a pretty large group of 10 and they were able to find seating for all of us. I would definitely recommend coming with a smaller group of four or less just because the atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. The staff was amazing and I definitely recommend!

Absolutely adorable place for brunch. Eggs Benedict is incredible! The food came out super fast and the waitress was very attentive. The matcha latte warmed my soul ☕
