Depending on who you ask, this is the OG donut shop in the area and is better than the imitators with the same name.

The service, atmosphere, and food are definitely better at the Richland location.

The staff at the Richland location are so nice and helpful.

The food at The Donut Shop has never been disappointing. One of my all-time favorites is the tomato gravy and biscuits.

Takes a really long time to get your food but the food is worth the wait. I would recommend.

Great local eatery. They serve breakfast and lunch. They also have great variety. They are very well beloved for their great donuts and many breakfast meals. They have many foods that are not on the menu being that the menu has grown over the years. They open at 4 A.M and the only down side is they are not open all day.

We were traveling decided to try we went twice . The donut stuffed with cheesecake filling was delicious.

Parking is good. The staff is quick and friendly. The food is good and plentiful. Even though this is a donut shop they serve a nice breakfast other than just donuts.

The staff is always friendly. This place has been here as long as I can remember. I haven't had anything I didn't like. My husband and I occasionally (as a treat) stop before church and get breakfast. One of my favorites is a croissant with cheese, bacon, and egg. I also love the jalapeño colosky/big pig in the blanket.
I also occasionally stop a get a couple dozen doughnuts for work.

I love this place! I drive from Madison just for the French toast....eggs, bacon and sausage. I just tried the chorizo and eggs....Coming from California with lots of Spanish family....it was almost as nice as home!

Not from Jackson... food is absolutely wonderful. Fresh, clean, donuts are to die for. Try the cinnamon roll great. Try the egg BLT it awesome. Coffee is community coffee. Its great too. Girls are very sweet.
When in town i always go buy. Ya'll do it right!

Very good place to eat .Never got nothing bad.Drive Tru are Cafe style..Delicious food are just a coffee and donuts..open to 2:00...A must 😋 yummy.best breakfast in town.

This is the only place in Richland that has been there for all of my nearly 30 years. Both breakfast and lunch are amazing. I meet people from out of town all the time that only know Rankin County by this doughnut shop. Staff is super sweet and prices are extremely reasonable. Long live Do-Nut Shop Cafe! :)

Great! Fresh donuts delivered right to your car at the drive-thru just moments after ordering. They also have a full breakfast menu so it's more than just a delicious donut shop.

I got the beniets. They were made fresh and delicious. Also, don't forget to try their cappuccino.

the ultimate small town early bird dive diner. breakfast only, but it's fast and delicious. little hectic getting in and out with all the construction, but carve out a few extra minutes and treat yourself.

You may have to wait for a good meal because everything, besides donuts, is made-to-order. So it’s always fresh and hot. They have a drive through, but I always come to sit and visit while I’m waiting.
