Went in to buy my daughter a pair of shoes. Evidently, she forgot the importance of good shoes to run or walk in because she was wearing cute, impractical shoes on our walk. lol! Her feet were killing her! I told her about hokas.
We walk in, and of course, we get great service. Always do! The young man was very helpful. There's also a young lady in there who's always so friendly and very helpful. We got her shoes, and our 5 mile walks are now a breeze.

I love this place. The sales associates were the best; very knowledgeable and informative. The customer service was second to none. They set me up with shoes and insoles that fit my feet perfectly. I highly recommend shopping here.

Super happy with my Hoka One One’s and Balega socks! Ed was an awesome help. I highly recommend going to him because he has a lot of running experience and expertise on getting you into the right shoe. I’ll definitely be back to the store for all my future running needs!

I went in to buy some god running shoes and was helped by a gentleman who's name I can't recall, but super nice and knowledgeable. Went back to get some inserts and the same guy was again super nice and helpful. I'm not really happy with these inserts and will be going back in to look for other inserts but that is not their fault. I recommend this place for all your shoe needs.

The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable. I walked in, under the advice of multiple friends, with the request of Hoka shoes that would help with my arch problems. He walked me across the foot machine, told me what was going on, and then brought out shoes for me to try. Remember when shoe salesmen use to put the shoes on for you? Well, that is a very nice option. He asked me questions, had me walk around, then tried other shoes. He didn't stop until I was happy, and then he topped it by telling me that I had 30 days to try them out. So comfortable! Definitely worth trying them out!

The sales associate that helped me was great. They performed a gait analysis and walked me through all of the data, which was all very interesting to see. They provided some great recommendations and listened to my feedback from each shoe. The sales associate was very patient and kind. All around it was a great experience! I will definitely be coming back.

I was in search of a new pair of running shoes. I wear a size 15 or 16 so variety is not usually available. I went on a Saturday afternoon and expected it to be busy which it was. Nevertheless three separate employees greeted me and assured me they would be with me soon. I was able to find a good shoe in my size which I was happy with. It ended up being the same pair of shoes which I had researched online but I was happy I went in the store because I learned that Brand runs a little large so a size 15 was ok. The store was very well organized however they will probably grow out of it at some point which is not a bad thing.

Had an amazing experience here, which ended in purchase of the most comfortable and supportive walking shoes I have ever had! Also ended up purchasing casual at home sandals which also have great support and cushion (I have wood floors.)

The young woman who helped me was super patient and let me try on a multiple shoes several times, so I could walk in each a couple times.
The man who was also at register and helping other customers was awesome as well.

In conclusion, I ended up buying much more than I went in to the store to purchase, due to the great service w/o any pressure to buy.

Picked up some cross country running shoes for my eight year old daughter which she picked out on her own and loves them! Great looking and affordable. Great customer service! They have this cool machine that measures the dimensions of your feet!

My wife and I both went to get our new shoes a couple weekends ago. We have heard from family and friends time and time again about the great service and knowledgeable staff at GCRS. I have compared GCRS prices to the internet on Hoka shoes and they are spot on, price wise. When you factor in their rewards program and personal service, the choice is simple.

Gold Country has a great selection of shoes and accessories for the runner. The prices seem to be on par with online, but the personal service and knowledgeable staff make all the difference. Charlie was helpful and accommodating. It was a very good experience.

I have purchased nine pair of shoes at GCRS since December (everyone in the family got a pair, too-stimulating the economy AND encouraging lots of outdoor healthy movement). The service has been phenomenal and the shoes are like walking on clouds (most of us purchased Hokas). HIGHLY recommend!
