Simple Cafe

Just wow! Recently discovered this place and I can't say enough about how great it is! The breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious and massive. The special I had today was a pomegranate pork burrito, which was incredibly unique and tasted amazing. The owner is as friendly as it gets and I felt their passion for the restaurant they take purpose in. If you haven't tried this wonderful gem of a cafe just go do it. I can't wait to try everything!!! Thank you Javier and staff. I'm addicted already haha. 👌

Simple cafe is amazing. It's always fresh and their weekly "specials" menu is always so good that there are still things on the main menu I haven't even gotten to! If you're looking for a high quality, reasonably priced meal in Ashland look no further.

WOW! I truly don't have the words to describe how amazing the food was at our wedding (October 2023, 106 people). Javier and his team were punctual and I got so many compliments on the food. Both the chicken and pork options were amazing. Javier has his own plates, utensils, water glasses, etc which helped immensely as we didn't have to coordinate with another vendor to rent these items. Whether you need a large event catered, or simply need lunch, you cannot go wrong with Simple Cafe.

Absolutely addicting. I drive all the way from medford for a burrito. The quality of the ingredients is highest quality. The employees are very kind.

Not exaggerating when I say I've had some of the best burritos of my life here. Satisfying and for a fair price.

This place is delicious and affordable. They use quality food and they're excellent cooks. I think their burrito is better than any in the valley. This gem is better than most sit down places throughout Ashland for their burgers, sandwiches and specials.

What a sleeper. Truly fresh and seasonal food, interesting and delicious, not heavy but with a good amount of protein and vegetables. Much better than it has any reason to be.

This is my favorite place to get a quick lunch in Ashland. I’d eat it every day if I could. The food is consistent. Always delicious. Their specials are always interesting and creative. The flavors are just awesome. We’re moving to Colorado soon and I will miss this gem so I had to leave them a good review!

Top knotch my and my family's favorite breakfast / lunch spot. Even for my very picky toddler! Their burritos are phenomenal and Javier the owner and his Staff incredibly kind. High recommended. (Quick and easy too!)

I come here regularly for Simple Cafe's veggie burrito. It's consistently delicious and satisfying. I like a high spice level: the spicy salsa is VERY spicy. HIGHLY recommend.

I've been enjoying the food at Simple Cafe since the day they opened! The Curry Chicken Bowl is a favorite, and the creative daily specials are consistently delicious. Excellent service, even during the (understandably) super-busy lunch hour.

Only had a drink. Just came for a refreshing REAL drink---like fresh squeezed lemonades/orange aids in MX. Here ordered fresh lemonade with fresh ginger. Delicious! Owner says here for 7 years from Mexico City. Another restaurant directed me here for only fresh lemonade in Ashland. Go! Outdoor seating.

Tasty food, vegan and vegetarian option, decent prices.

I’ve been looking for a burrito of this caliber since leaving the Bay Area a couple years ago. I wish I had tried these burritos long ago. Amazing layers and combination of unique flavors. I’m pleasantly surprised each time I try one of the specials. They go the extra mile in using organic ingredients. Not only is the food good but they have perfect consistency with their quality. Thank you.

I ordered the spicy orange chicken.
It was served on a real plate as opposed to a paper plate and all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty.
The wait was short and it was fairly priced.
I will be returning to try something else on the menu.

This place is a truly a hidden gem, just a small takeout setup but I'll eat this grub in my car any day! Driving though the state we were looking for something quick to hit the road again and this place did not disappoint. When I unwrapped my spicy chorizo burrito I could tell it was going to good just by the scorch marks on the flour tortilla. All of the ingredients were cooked and flavored to perfection. Needless to say, this place is going to be bookmarked on my map for all future trips through the area. A MUST TRY IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA! The ACE hardware employees lucked out having this spot right out front.

Wow. Epic food. One of the best eateries in Ashland, cleverly hidden as a hardware food kiosk. Food is fresh, homemade from scratch (even the sausage and hot sauce!) And ridiculously tasty. I do wish they had white rice as an option instead of brown, but nonetheless, this is a go-to spot for me and my community!

Simple Café is simply the best place in town. I am a local (Here for over 15 years) and my family and I go here at least twice a week. The food is amazing, as it is mostly organic and locally sourced. However, the prices do not reflect the high quality ingredients. The service is friendly and fast. The Simple Burger is to die for. My daughter loves the the hotdogs and Pork Bowl. They also have about four daily specials. Can't say enough about this place..🍔🌭

I have walked by this little place a gazillion times as I go in and out of the hardware store on a fairly regular basis. I'd heard good things about it and, hey, it deserves a try.

The food was very good, tasted fresh and fresh prepared, generous portions, friendly people, and a very fair price for what you get.

Have gone back a few times since and the experience was the same.

Don't miss this little gem.

The family who owns and runs this lovely little cafe are the very best and do everything they can to take very good care of their customers. I was only in town for a short time, so I came once but I cannot wait to get back to Ashland again to enjoy the delicious and lovingly prepared meals. Thank you, Simple Cafe!
