Jives Coffee Lounge

We came here to fuel up for the rest of the day. The entrance is pretty nice. Almost seems like a hotel entrance. There is some seating right outside as you walk in but also plenty of seating inside as well. It looks like they have live music on some occasions although there wasn't any while we were there.
We ordered a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it also came with some chips. Everything was delicious. Nothing crazy. Just a solid sandwich and solid chips. We also had a strawberry banana smoothie and that was also very good! Not too sweet and a little tart.
Service was good too. He was friendly and fast. Overall, solid place. Solid food. Solid service.

Interior is well lit and spacious, excellent for studying, reading, or simply meeting with a friend. Staff is kind and humorous, always making guests feel welcome. Food is a bit pricey but as to be expected from a local cafe in Old Colorado City. Would recommend the avocado dream (shown below) and the drinks are delicious.

Had breakfast here on our last day of vacation. The service was great and both were so nice. Food came out hot and exactly as we ordered. They even cut the pastry in half knowing we were sharing. Wife had a breakfast bagel and I had a breakfast croissant. You could tell everything was fresh all the way to the tomato. They have a great patio area that we enjoyed as well.

Food was delicious. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was lovely, good seating and prompt service for our group of 9. Friendly and gracious staff.

On our second visit, it was just three of us. The food and drinks were delicious ( white tiger mocha, spicy mocha, and turkey pesto croissant) but the atmosphere is what makes this place a stand out. It is so warm and welcoming and the owner seems like a gem of a human.

I ordered the Caramel Delight Special Coffee. It was really good coffee and made exactly how I like it and I’m really picky with my coffee.

The food was even good. I got the “avocado dream” bagel, with extra avocado. I will return!

What a great experience we had. This place is a MUST to visit when you are in Colorado Springs. Bagel and croissant were both so soft and tasty. Coffee delicious! Large outdoor and cute indoor seating. Chai latte was the best my fiancé has ever tasted! Our barista was from Croatia and his service was top notch! 10/10

Super friendly, clean, nice large indoor and outdoor spaces, with good vibes happening. We didn't order food, but my blended coffee drink was excellent.

2nd time I've been here to just take a break... beautiful day outside. Last day I was here I stayed a while and loved the whole time. Food is always so fresh and like at home kind of feeling. Great large space that even though it's busy, never feels crowded crowded. Red moon was delicious!

We happened to stop in Jives to work remote in a coffee shop for the morning with a craving for bagels. It is a perfect spot for remote working, plenty of table space and outlets, and their bagel sandwiches are the best I've had. You can tell this is a favorite spot for the locals - the owners are generous and clearly get a lot of return clientele. Great for breakfast and lunch. We got the Bacon lovers and Four Cheese Bagels, and the Foggy Chai and a white chocolate latte, and the owner stopped by and gave us a free chocolate muffin with whipped cream because "we were working too hard."
10/10 recommend!

Honestly, they have THE BEST Spicy chai I’ve had! I got mine with almond milk and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend. Plus the atmosphere is incredible, beautiful view of local park, soft music playing, comfortable seating and games and more if your in the mood to play or read. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Amazing coffee shop.

One of the best things about this place is the vibe, which is kind of eclectic, kind of cool. Lots of seating, both indoors and out.

I'm usually just getting a coffee here, which is good, but not my favorite grind in town. Good enough though.

The one time I ate a hot breakfast item, I forget what it was, but I recall it being quite good. Their pastry items don't trip my trigger, but I always enjoy coming here.

The atmosphere is wonderful and especially peaceful in the morning. I ordered a vanilla latte and cheese Danish, both are exquisite. 😋

I wanted to bring back some Colorado coffee as a souvenir then spotted this place and went to check it out on a whim. What a neat spot to check out! Very nice atmosphere and great staff! They were able to help me and answer the questions that I had, I ended up getting a small bag of their house roast and can confidently say it is delicious!

Cool place with outdoor street side tables and a large indoor seating space for a morning coffee shop. Bet it sounds good when a band plays. Good coffee and breakfast egg, bacon, and cheese everything bagel..

We absolutely love going to Jives. The owners are the very best. The food is divine, you will not get better service or food at any other location. I would go daily if I could. As it is, I go there with my daughter for girl dates and by myself to relax and read a good book while I sip on a spicy mocha (made with cayenne!). Just bought a bottle of their mulled wine and my goodness, it warms you from the inside out! Here's to many more years of enjoying their food, their hospitality, their love of art, their live music and poetry reads, and delicious coffees!

Such an adorable coffee shop! Decided to stop here while I was in Colorado Springs and was not disappointed. The shop itself has indoor and outdoor seating, and a bookshelf with books that are free for you to look through while you sip on your coffee. They also have a small stand in the corner with musical instruments- where I assume a band plays every once in a while. As far as service goes, the employees were polite and my food and drink came out super fast. I ordered an iced “Black Sea”. Super yummy! It was the perfect sweetness and full of flavor. And for food, I ordered a Turkey Provolone Croissant which I definitely recommend. It came with chips and some dip. My meal totaled about $15 with drink and food. Definitely recommend stopping here (-:

I've here a few times, it almost has two personalities. The coffee shop during the day and the one at night. It's relaxing atmosphere and the friendly staff along with Steller coffee makes this a must visit. We were lucky enough to see a small band play, Irish music? Or at least that what it sounded like.

Jives is my favorite coffee shop in Colorado Springs. They make their cappuccinos European style with chocolate sprinkled on top and the food is delicious. The owner is extremely kind. I always enjoy getting to chat with him while he makes my coffee. Overall it’s just a really lovely place with wonderful people.

Great little place for coffee and eats. The chocolate covered strawberry smoothie is super yummy. The Avocado Dream bagel sandwich is a must! Eat outside or inside and enjoy the atmosphere. The folks working there are warm and welcoming and treat you like family.
