Walgreens Pharmacy

I had a knee operation and was in a fair amount of pain. The hospital emailed 5 prescriptions to this Walgreens pharmacy. We arrived just before closing time. All 5 of the prescriptions were filled and waiting for. It was very efficient!

Issued me a meningitis vaccine. Iris was very kind and professional.

Walgreens is all about customer service!

I have tried all the pharmacies in the area, and all things considered, this is my preferred one. They're usually pretty fast (under an hour to fill); good hours (open 7 days/wk and open 'til 10 p.m. on weeknights); the app and text messaging are user-friendly and convenient; and the employees are polite (for example I just checked out with Hannah in the drive-thru. She was sweet and told me to have a blessed day!). It's also convenient to transfer prescriptions to a different Walgreens if you're out of town or something.

Very long wait time for filling prescriptions. Estimates of time to fill are optimistic, not realistic.

My husband and I went on line and scheduled each of us an appointment to receive our flu shots. When we arrived the young lady who waited on us told us Medicare would not pay for his shot. We ask her if she was sure she had entered the info correct because Medicare had always covered his flu shot, she assured us she had entered everything correctly. I ask the cost of the shot and was told $72.00. I went ahead and received my shot as I have another type of insurance. My husband left without his shot. When we got in the car I called Wal-Mart pharmacy and they ran his DOB and Medicare info over the phone and told us us yes Medicare covers his shot and they could help us. We drove across the street and he received his flu shot. I did try and call Walgreens to discuss this experience with them so it might not happen to someone else but could not get through to speak to anyone because they kept putting me on hold. We are moving all our prescriptions to Wal-Mart.

Slow slow slow. Made appt for booster shot. The covid line was used for everyone picking up rx's. They finally took care of me 45 min. later. I was the only one waiting for a vaccine.

Service has gotten worse. I live in Montgomery and use the Walgreens on 105 and FM3083.
My doctors office accidently sent my nebulizer meds here. 12 people in line. Ridiculous. There about 45 minutes to get Rx.
BThe one in Conroe 15 minutes on a bad day.
God help those poor employees in pharmacy.

Every prescription I get sent by the doctors is always delayed or out of stock. Usually have to send it to a different pharmacy to even get it.
