The Marion Chocolate Shop

We love to buy treats to send to our out of town friends so they can have a little bit of Marion in TN. Then we bring home a little bit for ourselves too. My daughter loves the cherry mountain and I love the caramels! The chocolate itself is so yummy

I kept hearing the chocolate covered gummy bears were amazing, so I decided to give them a try myself. If you love both gummy bears and chocolate, these are perfect for you! My new favorite treat! I also LOVE the peppermint cream. I could eat a whole box of them in one sitting! Even though I went there for the first time yesterday, I’m going back again today:)

So many delicious items! I've been to many a places that pride themselves in their chocolate and we are lucky to have this store in our backyard! I've came here a few times for usually treats for others. Everything I've tried is delicious. Today I stopped in for myself and sampled a few fudge pieces. I ended up taking 6 flavors home! Both the hubby and I are not usually fudge fans. Hands down the options and flavors and texture of their fudge was the best I've ever had. So creamy, so good, I'll probably be being buying their fudge selection out soon, so I suggest you head that way before I do LOL!

My husband and I have tried a lot of places locally that have fancy chocolates, it’s just a thing we like to do as a family.

And I think so far this has been our favorite. Cherry creams and the Irish cream truffles were the two favorites so far. Definitely going to give more business to them.

Service was excellent, the owners also seem fantastic.

We grew up in Marion but now live in Minnesota. I love going to the chocolate shop when we come back to visit family! Everything is so delicious and made with love. It's a little luxury - treat yourself! Great customer service, charming building and everything they make is wonderful!

So glad this place is thriving! Lots of great selections, and they do everything in-house, which is rare these days. Owner is a veteran former active duty member of the Iowa National Guard and now he’s the candy man! Everything this place does has passion in it, Ican’t wait to see where it goes from here!

Love the chocolates and the many choices they have. Cute shop. Very nice people and so helpful if you aren't sure what you want.

As a delivery driver I made a delivery via the back door. The owner was very nice and appeared to take pride in his business and product. The storage area was clean and uncluttered. During my deliveries I see a lot places that sell edibles that aren't very clean. I would have no issues patronizing this establishment.

I had some gift baskets to fill and had a deadline. Ben & Katie were on it. My order arrived quickly, well packaged and the chocolates were in cute packaging that shows the product. The designs on the chocolates were attractive. The only downfall...I should have ordered some for MYSELF!! So I will be placing an order for my own stash. Can't wait to try them :)

The only thing I have had the priveledge of trying from here are the chocolate covered gummy bears. I have been DREAMING of them ever since. So so delicious. Will be back soon!

UPDATE
I was able to take a trip back down and so happy I did! The amazing chocolatier had created some strawberry filled GORGEOUS heart shaped bon bons for little samples that were absolutely spectacular! One of the best chocolates Ive ever experienced. I also really enjoyed the habenero mango one. Very subtle spice but very well balanced. Delicious. Of course I also got more gummy bears. They are irresistable!

This is my *favorite* small business ever! I live on the SW side of Cedar Rapids but stop here any time that I’m in town and they’re open. The shop is under new ownership - old, yummy recipes but also some new twists too, fantastic owners and customer service as well. We haven’t tried anything that we haven’t liked. It’s all good, and I like that there are usually new, unique things to try each time we’re in.

EXCEPTIONAL CARAMEL APPLES! Get the milk chocolate and pecan - pure heaven! The toffee and the milk chocolate frogs were delicious as well. I wish caramel apple season was ALL YEAR! This place is amazing. Stop what you are doing and go order some apples! YUM~

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING! GO online and order SEVERAL caramel apples. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!!! Best caramel, pecans, chocolate that I have ever ever ever had. SOOOOO delicious! My only wish was it was caramel apple season all year. SO amazingly yummy!! My second only wish was this shop was in Des Moines! LOVE IT. Also try the Chocolate Frogs and Toffee. All of it such high quality and so delicious! THANK YOU Ben & Katy! Amazing!

Their sweets are delicious! Better than other big-city chocolatiers. Super kind and down to earth employees. A variety of ready-to-go candy gifts, a wide selection of pick-your-own sweets and some amazing artwork including greeting cards that I've used with candies I've purchased. I love this small town business!

Fabulous Chocolates! The hand-crafted chocolates are gorgeous, fresh and delicious. My favorite are the truffles, and the milk chocolate sea salt caramels. This shop has been a local Marion business for many years. Be sure to visit the one and only - "Marion Chocolate Shop" - THE Chocolate Shop!

Absolutely delicious. I cannot stop thinking about the truffles. I’m planning Christmas stocking stuffers and my family is going to freak when they see they have truffles from here in them lol

Loved it. There is something for everyone. I've always wanted to stop in but just always resisted the urge to pull over. Had to grab counter tops from next door and couldn't resist anymore. I loaded up. Some of the chocolates even made it home to the rest of the family.
