It's hard to find good genuine people nowadays. If you ever get to have an experience like I did at full draw archery, don't take it got granted. I decided to make a trip down to Plattsmouth due to the fact my friend Eric told me he wanted to support this local business that showed him nothing but kindness and patience, when he was getting into the sport. He wanted to purchase me my first bow at the same store that showed him the ropes and didn't just look at him as another customer. I'm thankful, he made this decision because I will make sure I do my future purchases at this great business. They showed me nothing but patience as I asked many questions and gave me budget friendly suggestions when buying attachments for my bow. I highly recommend this business.

Stopped in today 12/30/2023 just to see what they had. Found a new bow I liked. Good thing I brought my old bow with. Put my sights and arrow rest on the new bow to give it a try. Couldn't believe how much better the new bow shot. Will have my business for now on. Great experience and great prices.

Went in today to get my bow setup and adjusted and they were awesome! Very helpful and gave some great advice since I’m practically brand new to archery. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I were in the area for the weekend and brought my bow along to try and get it set up. He found Full Draw Archery on Google and after reading the reviews decided to give them a go. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by both gentlemen working and were asked how they could help. The owners have over 25 years experience and it shows! While Jeff (we believe was his name) was working on getting a better starting point for me we got to know more about the business. The technicians have been to instructing courses on how to properly set up not only the equipment but also the archer. The wealth of knowledge Matt and Jeff were was quite amazing. When going over dynamics with me, Jeff was very kind and patient, but he also took time to explain and describe what I needed to feel and why it needed to be that way. Although we live 4 hours away, we will be using them again. Very thankful for their accommodating and sincere gestures. We highly recommend this shop!

Kent spend three hours working with me. Teaching me correct form, asking my comfortability. Putting many different bows in my hand, and allowing me to get comfortable with shooting. I had the pleasure of walking out with my very first bow today. Talk about personable, what an experience. I highly recommend making the drive, and investing in yourself from the get go. I can’t wait to practice, and learn so much more.

I've found the folks at full draw to be more knowledgeable than the big box stores (e.g., Scheels and Cabelas). They are almost always willing to share shooting tips. The only downside I've found is that other people feel the same, and they can be busy at times. You might have to wait around a bit, but if you like talking archery, the wait time will usually be passed talking to another customer 😁

Both men behind the counter were very knowledgeable and helpful. I walked out a better shot and more well equipped.

Thank you!

I can’t recommend this location enough. My wife decided to get into bow hunting and after going to Bass Pro several times trying to get her a good set up and not being able to get any type of help we looked elsewhere and found this place. We were a little hesitant about going to a small location because my wife is 5’ 4” and a lefty so I wasn’t sure they would have much selection for her, plus it’s a smaller store and we have 5 kids 11 years old and younger but thank goodness they didn’t bat an eye to seeing our family walk in. Not only did they have plenty that would work for her but they adjusted several for her to try out just to make sure she was comfortable. While she was trying them out they were coaching her on how to shoot properly and making adjustments to the bows for her. You could tell they weren’t concerned about selling her a bow, they wanted to sell her THE bow that would be perfect for her or not sell her one at all. We were able to get her entirely setup for a very reasonable price. We will be going there for all of our bow needs whether it’s target, hunting, or bow fishing they can take care of you.

This a really cool unique family business appreciated by all! They support the hunters, competitors, and people who just want to start a new hobby. It's a great place for all your supply needs at a great price. The archery range is for all archers and there's also a work shop in store if your bow needs adjustments.

Matt is the man! I brought in my bow after having it "tuned" by one of the bigger stores around. The issue with the big stores, depending on what day you show up, you may have someone that knows a thing or two about bows while the next person may not. At Full draw they came across as Experts at their craft. They perfectly tuned my bow and helped me adjust flaws in my shooting. I loved my experience and will be back.

We came in to have a look at a bow for our grandson's birthday. We do not know anything about archery. They were very helpful in showing us what would work for our grandson. They took us to the range to try out several bows and gave our grandson instruction on how to shoot as well as range rules. I was impressed with all the care and time they took to instruct each child on the range to have a good exsperiance and improve on there skills. We purchased a bow and they made sure that everything was setup and ready to go. They gave us instruction on how to care for the bow what to do as well as what not to do.

Thanks for all you do in shaping the future generations to love the sport.

My son was given a hand me down bow from the 70s/80s. They spent close to an hour working to get it back in shape and gave some good advice and walked him through how to handle his relic. Before we went, my son said he felt embarrassed going in with an old bow and not knowing much about how to fix it. Afterwards he was happy to have spent the money to get it working again and is excited about saving up and returning for an upgraded bow (soon!) Very thankful for patient and knowledgeable staff. Great shop, even better people.

I cannot recommend Full Draw enough! The love and dedication that Deb and Kent have for the sport of archery but more importantly for passing on this knowledge and love on to others is amazing. Everyone that works there is a certified instructor with USA Archery and NFAA because they want to be able to provide the best instruction to anyone that walks through the door. I assure you that you will not find that kind of passion in a big box store! I have personally had the pleasure of supporting them since I bought my first Jennings bow in 2006 and now as I pass my love for archery on to my daughter, I can only hope that Deb, Kent and everyone at Full Draw will be around to guide her in her progress.

So, if you have an interest in archery, need to find the perfect holiday gifts, or maybe your current equipment is vintage like mine and needs some extra loving care please call or stop in to see if they can help. Yes, you may be able to find a better deal online or at Cabela’s but if we don’t continue to support small business they won’t be there pass on their passion to our children and grandchildren.

If you are looking to improve your skills the Junior Olympic Archery Development classes on Tuesday or Saturday mornings is the perfect way to do so for a reasonable $10/hour fee (includes renting equipment). If you don’t like big crowds, they offer private lessons for a reasonable rate or just come in and buy some range time during the week.

Super helpful getting me all set up as a total beginner. The people here very clearly care for the sport itself and not just making a quick buck. They'll work with any experience level and nearly any budget, as long as you're realistic. Go in with an open mind and ready to learn, and don't pretend to be an expert, you'll quickly be humbled. That being said, do not be afraid to ask questions, no matter how big or small. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I don't tyoically write reviews. I've been going to Full Draw for about 2 years; since I moved to Omaha. All the staff have gone out of their way to help. My daughter took a beginners class there and they were attentive, patient and knew how to teach well. We went there shoot for a year before I decided I wanted to upgrade out of my beginner bow.
I bought my first flagship bow there. I shot a lot of bows at a lot of stores before I bought mine from them. Their customer service was the deciding factor of why I chose them. I could have got my bow somewhere else, but I didn't.
I only let them work on it, i.e. put on a new rest, strings and cables.
I like supporting local shops and these guys epitomize the personal attention a local shop is known for.
They've earned a lifetime customer. I really can't say enough about them.

In the world of customer service, I totally understand the good and bad days. I am no expert in the world of archery, however I understand what's going on. With that being said, the customer service at this store was as I predicted. I was in the market for a new bow, the gentleman that helped me, took the time to set each bow up, explained his pros and cons. On top of that he waited patiently for my payment situation to get resolved. Credit card company froze my account due to fraudulent spending. It was quite embarrassing, however the younger gentleman made me feel as if I was around friends, and assured me it was just a misunderstanding... After 20 mins my bank finally realized the error and allowed me to pay. My daughter has gymnastics every Tuesday and Thursday right next door. Im in the store every night gossiping and soaking in all the information I can on bow hunting. With that being said, I can go out on a limb here and say if I needed help with....let's say a flat tire or I was stranded on the road, I could guarantee they would help me out. I've read some of the one star reviews , and it's unfortunate, however they are human. I hope other business like Scheels or Cabela's would copy this small business motto.. I don't feel as if it's about the money for them. I feel as if they genuinely care about the product and the customers concerns. I'm probably beating a dead horse by now, but I'm extremely proud to have a store like this in Omaha.

Absolutely wonderful. I was very interested in getting into archery and bow hunting so I attended a course taught by the owners.

The class, while very popular and full, was extremely informative and exciting.

I spoke with the owners and explained how I'd like to get some of my own equipment and learn more. The most amazing thing was they were more focused on getting me a bow I'd love than selling me a bow. The owner told me to return another day and shoot them all to find what works best for me.

So I returned to the store a few weeks later, and likely a lot more unfamiliar, but they treated me like their only customer. I was emplored to shoot as many bows as possible and they even helped my form and gave me tips so I could feel each bow out better.

I took far more of their time than I felt was fair but they still helped me and found that bow that just screamed to me.

I plan on bringing my family and friends in the near future and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get started from zero experience.

Great Mom and Pop Shop. Everyone there is more than willing to help you out if you have any questions while you're there. I bought my first bow there and they've assisted me through my learning process along with helping me make adjustment to my equipment. Great people and a great business.
