Goodwill - Sanford

Relatively small Goodwill Store within easy walking distance from downtown Sanford. Parking in its own small lot or on the street. Very organized merchandise and clean store. Friendly and helpful staff. I don't understand people complaining about rising prices in other reviews. Retail rents are going up, as are wages, so their operating costs and prices are understandably also rising. I look forward to returning and supporting Goodwill. A very pleasant experience.

The clothing is separated well by sizes. That's not the case in many stores but I noticed today the Larges all stayed with the Larges. That reduces a lot of frustration, thank you, store! Bursting with Halloween goods today; store was neat; employees helpful, friendly. I almost bought the Disney coffee mug but I thought it made the Tink look like a Fink, so it's probably still there.

This store is packed with so many neat and great priced clothing, shoes and home decor. We drove there and saw so many people coming out with bags and cart full of items. We stepped inside and it was clean and organized. Plenty of things for everyone. Needless to say we are on vacation and still managed to leave with 2 bags full of amazing stuffs. My sister and her husband left with a cart full of items for the ranch and great items for themselves. The cashier, he was so friendly. A great place to visit again when we come back. Definitely a go to place.

Nice assortment of items. Friendly staff. Clean dressing rooms. My only complaint is the prices have increased quite a bit, but this seems to be across all of the Goodwill stores. I still enjoy shopping here though. They do still have certain color tags at half price each week. And I can get my reward points with my frequent super card!

Great! Its just goodwill, nice things for cheap, got 13 things for less then $30, that's little more then $2.30 for each item. Went there with my mom and she got some nice things too.

Definitely recommend! This is your old fashioned thrift stores, not the ones where they mark the prices up wildly.

Now this one is where it’s at they don’t kick you out if there is no power and they have a bunch of different items and great people!

Well,I brought several large garbage bags of clothes that were too big or too small from both my husband and myself. Both of us have been up the weight scale, I've been climbing back down. Anyway, some of these clothes were barely worn. Some were brand new. I could have made a lot of money for these at a garage sale. They didn't even look at my stuff. Just had someone come out to the car and carry the bags in. They asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes. They gave me a slip with a website code for the donation. They had few employees. A big truck in the way. But they do good work, helping the disabled find jobs. I might have to use that service one day due to physical and mental issues. They were busy. That was nice to see. There is parking. I looked at some of the prices on clothes and they sell things way cheaper than Plato's closet. I'm afraid they will not know the value of the items I gave them. However, I think I get to decide how much to deduct from next year's taxes when I go to the website.

Found some things i needed but i wish if they would put the prices down on the pots and frying pans not at $5.99 but at $3.99 or $4.99. And i wish they had more mens work boots at a decent price and in sizes of 10 not only 11 and 12 sizes. I do like the sanford 3rd street goodwill cause its close for me to shop.

Great selection and super nice staff. Always get neat stuff. Today got a sewing machine q popcorn maker and a cake ball maker thing

The associates are friendly and helpful. Merchandise is well placed and easy to find. I visit at least three times a month and always leave with amazing treasures.

My favorite store of them all. It's like they know what I'm looking for before I get there... Plus they have the most awesomest music of them all... Makes you want to stay and look longer to make sure you didn't miss something.

This is the smaller of the two Sanford Goodwills by far, but we’ve found some pretty good used book and CD treasures every time we’ve stopped by — and a completely new selection each time, as they’re pretty good at turning over the stock.

Goodwill, is my store to go! Their staff are friendly, helpful. Come and visit them, I found bargains that you won't believe.

They had just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Loved it. My favorite shopping store.
