Best dirty chai I’ve ever had

The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. They made me a delicious hot cinnamon tea with milk. It made the windy day outside that much nicer.
It’s definitely a place worth visiting.

Very cozy little cafe that (in non pandemic times) features art, live music, and some very tasty beverages. Modern, rustic decor and a Rancilio espresso machine. The coffee is a nice, balanced roast and staff is welcoming and kind. Stop in if you are visiting Starved Rock or Matthiessen parks and craving a great cup of joe!

Stopped by to hang out with a friend while we were in town for a wedding. It had a great atmosphere, great coffee, and the people are so nice! If we are ever in town again, we will come back!

Absolutely delightful spot for studying, hanging out, or just stopping by for a drink. The coffee (and tea) is fabulous, the people are so kind, and the vibe is exactly what a coffeeshop should be. LaSalle is blessed to have Core Cafe.

We found it on Google and when we first pulled in we didn't quite know what to make of it but once we walked in the door we felt right at home. I like funky, different places and this is a wonderful spot to sit and set a hot beverage and enjoy a pastry.

Safe place with good people and a lot of fair trade and organic teas and coffees. The owner is a sweet family man. They have live music.

Beautiful, open space, and locally owned. Most importantly good coffe. A little hard to find, look for the sign on the door and a patio set outside.
