AMC Carolina Pavilion 22

AMC CAROLINA PAVILION 22 located at 9541 South Boulevard Charlotte NC was as good as five stars on a ten . I Purchased my ticket inside instead of on line. I was greeted by an awesome employee who was restocking supplies as she took the time to show me how to work the drink machines and where theater 18 was located. She even offered to take my picture for me. She was so very kind and I would love to see her get recognized for her kindness. Everyone at the concession stand was helpful and nice. Totally enjoyed myself reclined in the seat. Bathrooms and theater was very clean. The Planet of the Apes was an awesome Movie!

Spacious comfy recliners. Guest services phenomenal, especially the lady working ticket counter 11am Tuesday morning. So friendly and helpful and everyone was greeted with a smile. Great first time experience there with my kids. It was a bit of a drive but we will definitely be back :)

Endia is amazing. It was sweet of her to walk my popcorn over to me so I didn't miss the opening of the movie. When is the last time you heard of customer service that accommodating?! The reclining seats are very comfortable. The restroom and theater is clean. They have a bar if you would like a cold draft. I am glad we chose this location. It was a spur of the moment stop but very enjoyable.

Seats were comfy, employees were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. My fiancée and I went on a Sunday at 12:30pm to see Bad Boys on the opening weekend and ordered the tickets online which was also very easy to navigate. Overall I would recommend this movie theater

It’s not often me and my husband get a date night without kids. We arrive to our movie 30mins late because dinner took longer than expected. We got into the movie and there were people in our seat and we kindly asked them to move as you pay for your seating and they refused. We got security involved s we paid $32 and some change to watch this movie. Security asked them to move and they just yelled and caused a big scene next thing you know everyone around is yelling at us. It’s assigned seating! We asked for a refund and they were super helpful. I just wished we were able to sit down and watch the movie and the other causing a scene would’ve been directed out until they could collect themselves. The staff was great and it’s apparently a common thing for others to steal peoples seat. Maybe AMC should make a policy if someone steals your seat they get banned for x amount of time I think that will solve a lot of their issues.

Very clean movie theater. Lots of sanitizing wipes zo clean off your seat. Friendly staff, and i loved the way the rows are separated to provide for social distance. As with all AMC movie theaters you can book online and see how many people will be in the theater with you! Definitely will visit again if I'm on the southside

I want to iterate that when I went to the theatre, there is a box out front that looks like there should be individuals working there, but no one will be there. If you want tickets, look at what's airing at the ticket booth and walk in and buy it from the actual workers inside.
Other than that, I'd just say buy your tickets online and then walk in and show the worker inside.
This AMC has wonderful reclining chairs and is very spacious so that you're not crunched together next to your neighbors. Mind you that the recliners are paired in twos so if you're going alone, be mindful of it.
The theatre also had alcoholic beverages that could be purchased by the side of where you get the concessions.

India Harvey was the sweetest and most professional AMC Employee that I've ever encountered. She was able to offer to me a very thorough synopsis of each movie that I had interest in. She was friendly, professional, and patient as I stood there trying to figure out which movie to see last Tuesday. If you are ever unsure which movie to watch, ask for India at AMC Pavillion 22. She is absolutely the best!!!!

Great staff, food always cooked right (try the supreme flatbread), full bar with Jasmine the best bartender in town, the lovely Sandra keeps the theaters clean. Join A list it's worth it! If there's ever an issue management is usually on top of it! Mr Ivan the poster king always make sure the posters are up to date and the marquee looks good! Shout out to Morgan and Ally if you need help deciding what movie you need to see they I feel like followed in my footsteps and became very knowledgeable about each film that's playing. Miss E runs this place like I feel I would run a movie theater! She's always on top of getting things done and a great mentor to her staff. Huge mention they have films from Bollywood! When you're in there don't you dare forget to stop and say hello to Miss Birdie or "Ann" One of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet in your life.

By far, our favorite place to go watch a movie in the theater. Reserving your seat when purchasing tickets online is a HUGE benefit, and the reclining seats are so worth it. This place tends to be cleaner than most theaters too, so that's a big plus. Service at the concessions is above average. They're courteous and quick. Being able to buy adult beverages at the bar, at a decent price, makes the movie experience all the more better too. Parking lot is safe too.

Always a good experience and place to go to the movies. The different offering of popcorn container options is cool. I guess it's been a while I've visited. The kids wanted all the different popcorn containers. We got Willie Wonka hat lol

22 theatre complex, meaning that they offer a wide array of movies in a wide array of formats including regular, 3D and Imax. The regular seats are very spacious and the theatre is tilted meaning that nobody in front of you will be in your way.
The hairs recline so you can sit comfortably and enjoy your movie.
The prices at the concession stand are rather ezpensice but I suppose that's somewhat expected at the movies.

It was nice, it's the only one I go to since the Rock Hill location closed down. But they need to update their chairs. I went last night and my son was really uncomfortable bc his chair was stuck in the upright position and wouldn't move. Thankfully, the theater wasn't full. I was able to move him to another chair.

We went to see a tamil movie. Nice comfy recliner seats. The audio is good, and the video is very good. Snacks are also very fresh and tasty.

I recently had a less than ideal experience at AMC Theaters, but Rob Hampton went above and beyond to make things right. When I arrived at the theater for a movie I had been looking forward to for weeks, I was disappointed to learn that there was an issue with the projection equipment and the movie was cancelled. I was understandably frustrated, but Rob immediately approached me and assured me that he would do everything in his power to make it right.

Rob went above and beyond to make sure that I received a full refund for my ticket and that I was able to secure a ticket for another screening of the same movie at a later date. He even offered me a complimentary popcorn and soda to make up for the inconvenience.

What really impressed me was how Rob handled the situation with professionalism and kindness. He remained calm and patient despite the challenges that he faced, and he made sure that I felt heard and valued as a customer.

Overall, I cannot recommend Rob Hampton enough. His commitment to making things right and providing exceptional customer service is unmatched. He is a true asset to AMC theaters, and I look forward to visiting the theater again and receiving the outstanding service that Rob provided. Thank you, Rob, for your exceptional service and dedication to your customers!

Seats recline and are comfortable. Popcorn is good, you add your on butter and salt if needed. Iceys are refillable. Soda machine was broken last night. We saw Advatar which I really liked and would watch again.

I had been gone for two weeks and me and my boyfriend planned to see a movie on Monday. Elemental. I bought the tickets a week in advance, But when we showed up the theater was completely full including our seats. It was all the same daycare so we left and talked to the general manager who offered a refund or tickets for later. We told her we would be fine coming to the 9:20pm showing (hopefully kids would be in bed🤣)and she wrote us a personal ticket. We came back that same day to watch our movie and outside looked packed but once checked in and inside our movie, we were completely alone in the theater. Not sure if she is sold out the theater just for us or what, but it was such a romantic/fun evening for us.

The seats were comfy and working. The sound system. Was really good too. The seats would vibrate, very cool. The popcorn was fresh and tasty.

Just wanted to shoutout the excellent customer service and patience from the supervisor Junior!! He answered all my questions and helped fix my issue with ordering tickets. Great experience!

The people are friendly, and the theater is clean. I like that the seats recline giving you max comfort while watching a movie. I drove an hour to see the Color Purple here for the seat comfortability and space. Also, fresh popcorn. When I go back next time I will take pictures.
