Survivors Bait & Tackle

This bait shop has everything you could possibly need for fishing! We love getting the live shrimp. The workers are all very knowledgeable and helpful. The owner is a great guy and always wanting the best for the customers! Highly recommend!

Nice bait shop, they have rigs setups for most fish on the island and supplies too. We also rented a golf cart.

The service is tremendous! Very helpful. They have a good selection of baits. My kids love Kelly, if you're on the island and need bait or a rig, this is where you need to go! Ask for Kelly!!!

They got all the schrimps... bbq schrimp, schrimp cocktail, schrimp schrampie...aint that right bubba. Plus my brother the owner is a dik too me but the shop is cool. Was.gonna be mine but he pulled that rug under me too.

We wanted to get some bait for shore fishing but realized we would be pushing it to get there before the store closed at 6pm. Luckily there were other patrons in the store and the shop was still open. My husband and I were trying to rush to get what we needed so we wouldn’t inconvenience the store clerk and keep him open any longer. However the gentleman was extremely helpful, kind and patient and we did not feel rushed at all. He gave all kinds of tips for shore fishing and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing. We highly recommend Survivors Bait and Tackle! Saint George Island is lucky to have this store!

The BEST place to stop and get bait and fishing supplies! Owner and staff were super friendly and helpful, even though we were novices. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back next year!

Great new ownership and management. Shop is clean and bright, great inventory for anything you need. Kayak and camping gear too. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Prices are reasonable. cheapest ice on the island. Its the only bait shop in franklin county ill go to...thank you Survivors!

We where the on the beginning of May for a shark tournament and that store have everything we needed , great staff and attention , thank you for you help !!!

Best bait shop on St . George Island. Cool t-shirts, every kind of hat you would want or need. The BEST PRICES on island. Consistent hours, they will let you in at 6:01, (closes at 6p.m.). They have Sperry shoes, best shoes for boating. Funny and charming people working in there😆..

Memorial Day and they were open! Reviews were from 3 years ago so I thought I would give it a chance. Dude at the counter was very polite and helpful. The prices were great and the bait was cheap. I will be going back to this shop from now on instead of going to the mainland.

Best bait and tackle shop on the Island! They have fresh and live bait, ice, tackle and gear. It's a one stop shop. Very helpful staff and they're open when they say they are going to be. Highly recommend!

I love my brother and shrimp

I've been going to Survivors since I was a kid and I'm 50 years old now. Great place with great prices for those that want a straight forward fishing bait and tackle along with an up-to-date chart of what is being caught and where. Do yourself a favor and visit Survivors.

The fella working was awesome. It was nice to drive 12 hours and feel like I was at my local bait shop. If you need bait in Saint George this is the place.
