Edit: What a difference a week makes. The service is still the friendliest. The hamburger steak is excellent with fries and the salad bar. The fries were huge and tasty fresh. Italy, get out and see for yourself.

I wanted to give this place a 5-star review. They are new and still working out the kinks. It's a 4 for now. Only because they were overwhelmed by the business this morning. The people make the place. Very inviting and friendly. The coffee was excellent. The food was great except the biscuits and gravy were cold. They still had a good flavor. I will be back, and I'd bet they'll get that 5.

Brand new 2023 opening of this sweet, little out of the way country cafe, in quaint, Italy Tx. Decorated like a ole gass station w/ the red Pegasus. The lady who ownes the cafe is really a sweet heart. Plz help her out & try it, she needs the business! Support our little town business 🇺🇸patriots or they will die🇺🇸!!!
Tammy's country fried steak was the best I've had anywhere, not greasy. The mashed potatoes were chunky, made from scratch. 😋 YUM.
The fried 🍄 were fried in a grease that tasted fresh, not old. They were drained well, not soggy. Home made fresh deserts. This place is out of the way but worth the trip. God bless.

We ate there for the first time today. We had their breakfast special - 2 eggs, 2 Pancakes and 2 sausages. The Pancakes were very light and fluffy. Everything was delicious. Hailey, the waitress, was very pleasant and kind. We met the new owner and chatted for a bit. Very pleasant dining experience. We will be back.

Wonderful place to dine in! Food was amazing, people are great. Will definitely be coming back. The onion rings are to die for! Come give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I just had dinner there about 3 hours ago. The waitress was very friendly. The place was nice and clean about half capacity at the time. We had hamburger steak and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Our order was ready in timely manor and was delicious. Italy folks have a gem here and I hope you support it well because we plan on coming back. Thanks to the owners and staff. We were not disappointed.

Had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The Sandwich was excellent and the fries were so good.

Had the best steak and eggs breakfast. Great place to go. The cook and staff was amazing. About time I finally found a place that I can go after working all night that can make me feel like I'm getting a home-cooked meal and has a great family vibe. The cook even came out to make sure the steak was to my liking. Definitely going back and encouraging all of my friends and family to go. Prices are reasonable also.

I would say there chicken fried steak is one of the best in Ellis county. The service is awesome thanks to Madi she is a wonderful waitress!!! The manager greeted each table. We will come back soon !!!

Food was very good. We had the chicken fried steak and they were delicious. The waitress is so nice and very attentive to all of the customers. We will certainly go back.

Whomever cooked my chicken fried steak obviously grew up eating it. Bravo. Finally, someone knows chicken fried steak doesn't come pre breaded and flash frozen!

Really good food, nice friendly litttle cafe ! Specials are amazing, good portions and do not forget the yummy cobbler:) The onion rings ARE the best period! Come on down, you will thank me later

Stopped in for Breakfast this morning and had the Station omelet, which was fantastic! Friendly family environment run by some great people! Definitely worth a visit I will be back for sure!
