Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

This a specialty in our hometown area and quite the gem! They always go above and beyond for their staff. Follow their Facebook page and when bad weather, special high school events or more things are happening they ensure their staff is safe and taken care of! Definitely hometown and small town friendly owners.

Loved this spot. Really family centered. Was very busy when we came, the drive through was active as well. Team is friendly. The wait staff came to our table with our food and my son kept saying he was having a great time. Our little family adventures really paid off this time! Thanks!

Every experience I've had bringing my family here has been absolutely fantastic. The staff is always friendly and professional and it's easy to see that the owner values old fashioned standards of top notch service, which is so refreshing this day and age in a restaurant that serves great food to a high volume of guests in a timely manner. Kudos to the best-operating Dairy Queen in Central Illinois.

Visited on 5/2 at 7pm. These ladies worked cooly under the pressure of a packed restaraunt. Polite. Positive. Loud calling out numerous orders at once. Excellent job!

Not your typical fast food experience. The staff, while young, are very polite and friendly. The food is delivered to the table quickly and is hot off the grill. The restaurant is clean and inviting. As Dairy Queens go, this one is excellent. Stop by, you'll be glad you did!

Quick service, clean, well lit, good fresh blizzards. They even held the blizzard upside down like they're supposed to. Aton of workers. The girls were very polite and helpful with flavor questions. Best DQ in Central Illinois, hands down.

This has been one of the best locations for as long as I can remember. I know for a fact that this location has been a desirable place for the teens in town to work at. Everything is clean, the people love working here and the food is always amazing. Great job! and its been this good for decades!!

Always fresh, always awesome!! No complaints here. For fast food this place cares and takes care of you.

Edit: Been many, many, many times since there are so few places to eat in metamora. Why oh why are your fries never cooked? Do I have to ask to have them cooked? Why are they NEVER crispy? Am I wrong to expect French fries to be crispy?

Burgers are still good

The owner, Bob Anderson, is phenomenal! He genuinely cares about his customers and their satisfaction. We need more businesses that are run as well as this one!

It seems strange to review a fast food restaurant for dine in because it always seems like you know what you’re gonna get. However this Dairy Queen is far above them all! The workers were incredibly friendly! I was second to order at the counter and immediately a second employee came to another register to take my order. The food was fresh, hot, and perfect. I chose to dine in as the dining room looked exceptionally clean. As soon as someone left, it seemed that an employee immediately came out to wipe it down. They delivered my food to my table either the manager or franchise owner came out to ask if my food was made perfectly (and it was!). I am incredibly impressed with the service at this DQ. When I’m in the mood for a good, quick bite to eat, I’ll definitely be back to this location!

Hands down, the best hamburgers around. The deluxe burger is better at this location than any gourmet burger. And service is always great.

I called and ordered an ice cream cake for my son's birthday rather last minute and requested- if possible- to have it decorated with baby Yoda. I was blown away at how incredible it looked when I picked it up just a few hours after ordering. The young lady did an amazing job and it was the highlight of the party!

The food is always good and hot and done quickly. We often go in Sundays after church and the manager is usually there and comes around to check on customers and is always friendly. The newly renovated section features a TV and some comfy chairs which kept our daughter occupied after she was done while we finished eating. Overall, we always have a good experience here.

I ordered 2 sheet cakes just now. I couldn't tell you what they're going to look like (just that i ordered a 4th of July theme and a summer theme), but I trust Tom as he told me they'll look beautiful and he was such a pleasure to work with over the phone!

Love stopping here when Im in town or after a sporting event. Owner is a true friend of the community— everything you could want in a small business. It’s a pleasure to support this place!

One of my favorite places to get special treats and the $5 lunch is a perfect hold me over meal. The recent remodel really opened the space up. Great supporter of youth sports and other small businesses in the community.

Love dairy queen the only complaint I have is 1 DQ's large shake is actually a large and other DQ's large is actually a med but all the same price.
