the only thing is other customers need to be patient bc not everyone is just there for a cone .they do serve other food there to which is great and they have new workers in training.its not mcdonalds which is usually a long wait itself.patients people plz

I mean what do I say- it's our local ice cream shop and we love it!! It's got all you would expect - the shredded chicken sandwiches, chicken strips are GOOD ones, fried pickles, their version of a Blizzard, slushes for the non dairy need, cheeseburgers, etc. Love my caramel sundae with the warm caramel sauce!😊

Classic roadside ice cream stand, has great ice cream, shakes and, hot food. The banana splits are excellent. So is the shredded chicken sandwich!

Great family owned atmosphere. Cook to order food and delicious ice cream. Amazing milkshakes and snow storms. Built in the 1950s so a long standing place. New Concord wouldn't be New Concord with out knowing about the Dairy Duchess.

I don't actually think anyone in town needs to see a review of this place but I felt like writing it anyway. Dairy Duchess essentially IS summer. In the same way that a certain smell can trigger a memory in your mind, this place triggers thoughts and memories of summer. So many afternoons spent working away in the humidity of summer on the farm and then stopping by here afterwards. I didn't grow up here but eating the ice cream on a stupidly hot summer day makes me feel like I've been here my whole life. Thanks for reading.

For deep fried food and soft serve ice cream....this is probably your goto in this little 3 stop light town (that should only have 1 light, max)

Prices are very fair, huge selection of fried veggies, like french fries, pickles, cauliflower, mushrooms and maybe a few more.

Good service, fast and friendly.

No inside seating and outdoor seating can be very hot.

I frequented this shop as a child with my babysitter and older sister back in 1993-1997. Overjoyed to see it still operating with delicious shakes! Great memories and great ice cream. My sister is jealous I got to stop by today.

Great little hole in the wall place with excellent food and shakes at good prices. The local hang out after youth athletics.

Oh man, is there anything better than the dairy duchess? My husband and I stop here to share a milkshake pretty much every time we can. I also love their fried mushrooms and an ice cream sundae with cookie dough on top. Closed for the season in winter. Lots of room for parking and theres also a drive-thru.

Great little old school drive up ice cream stand! Large hot fudge sundae...small hot fudge sundae... Mint chocolate "snow storm"...10 bucks!!!

Good deal, 4 of us were served ice cream for only 11 bucks.

The shakes are delish. Onion chips are yummy. The people are very nice an patient, it's hard sometimes for my grandbabies to decide. Great place. Miss it in winter time.

Every time we are in the area, we stop by. The ice cream choices are great! The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Little busy and slower than normal this evening, but the girls are all trying to get back in the swing of things after a long winter off.
