Buy Local! We loved Rottenstone's variety of pottery options. This store is a collective of artists so there are many different expressions. We spent about an hour looking and wishing. My wife ended up replacing her tea mug I smashed this morning. Stop in Arroyo Seco!!

This place is sooo cool. Even the doors are elegantly artistic. The pieces are really beautiful, even the functional ones, like tea servers. There is such a good vibe when you walk through the doors and the work stands alone. It is nice to be in this space. The guys there, John and Chris (and one other nice, no-name dude), are so helpful without hovering. Top-notch, creative craftsmanship.

Rottenstone Pottery is one of the finest galleries in New Mexico for woodfired ceramics and the like. Scott Rutherford (the owner/artist), is a master at what he's doing there. Go have a look....you won't be disappointed! Five stars. Hands down!

A truly unique experience, Scott was a pleasure to talk with as he spun his pottery and spun some interesting tales. His shop is one of the "must see" when anywhere nearTaos, Nm.
