Great food, fair prices, friendly atmosphere

The food was really good.. I can’t say the same about the service. They really need to think about firing the waitress Alley.. My total was $20 and I gave her $50 and I asked for change back.. she kept the extra $30 and had me leave. She then grabbed me by my hair and slammed my head against the table because I didn’t finish my pork tenderloin. Like I said food was great, and the other servers and owners were super nice.. alley is just the worst.

So the food was pretty subpar, but the atmosphere of the place was what bothered me more than anything else. The paint cans and overall messiness made this feel like a rushed endeavor and I really can't imagine this place really had any kind of health inspection before they launched. More than anything the bias here is what leaves a worse taste in my mouth than anything. I could imagine people enjoying the food here, but the fact that going on here led me to multiple 5 star reviews from the exact lady who served me is a really, really bad look. While my complaints about the quality are about what you would expect from a newer restaurant in a small town in Illinois, the weird vibes surrounding everything, even this review page, is what leads me to say that I would not really recommend anybody to stop by.

Super unfortunate that I can’t give 0 stars because that’s what they deserve. HORRIBLE customer service. This woman named Alley? I think it was… told someone to kill themselves MULTIPLE times. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Hopefully it gets shut down because people like that do not deserve to own a business at all.

I was so excited to try this restaurant, but much to my and my three kids’ dismay, the service was unprofessional! Plus, the food is subpar. I will not be coming back.
