they’re incredible here! we were 15 min late to our reservation due to our previous activity running over and they were so kind about it. when we sang happy birthday, they had a lighter for us to use for his candles and even lowered the lights so it was dark while we sang. we were the only ones in there & came in an hour before closing. they were super gracious and kind and the food was incredible!! highly recommend.

Had lunch here recently. We both had the lunch basket which is an excellent deal. You get a soup and a salad and a great plate, just see the picture attached. The service was very efficient and friendly and the food tasted great. The price was very reasonable. I definitely will be back when in the area.

That was by far the BEST food and service I have received in a long time. I was with a party of 8 and we all ate in a timely fashion. The sushi was so fresh and beautiful (I don't eat sushi) and the food I received was fresh and delicious. The prices are so reasonable and the customer service was outstanding. My new favorite restaurant.

We had sushi, curry and an appetizer. Delicious. The sushi is packed with flavor. The curry is so savory I saved some for lunch tomorrow and we tried baby octopus. If you close your eyes it’s worth it. The experience here was therapy for my taste buds. Delicious

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Who would have thought you’d find it in a little restaurant beside a Publix, but by god I did. Who needs to go downtown when you have this joint?! I’ve been here multiple times and I haven’t had a bad thing at any point in time. They do excellent work with their Chinese and Thai dishes too. I’ve probably had a dozen things on the menu and they have all been bangers. 10/10 would eat again. 🫡

Had lunch here and the service was great! I really liked the food my steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was a great price and just enough food to fill me up. The food came out amazingly fast I had just finished my soup and salad as it was brought out. Again the whole staff was very nice.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center that may get overlooked. However the sushi is absolutely delicious and beautiful. We ordered the Fallen Angel the perfect blend of heat and a Shrimp Tempura something. It was served a little warm but very good

Staff sat us down quickly and ordered our food within a timely manner. They were very pleasant and attentive to our needs.

The restaurant is very clean. The owners pay close attention to details. Even our napkin had a beautiful picture of a rose! 🌹

The presentation of our food was phenomenal, but the taste of the sushi was even better! I had the Godzilla Roll. My husband had the Fallen Angel and Hawaiian Roll.

10/10 would recommend. We are very excited to share this gem to our friends!

Decided to stop here for dinner and we enjoyed it much more than we anticipated. Very good food. I had the orange chicken and my wife got Hibachi Beef and loved it. Her meal came with soup and salad as well as rice and beef. The presentation was very well done also. Looking forward to going back.

This place is beautiful, jazzy music usually playing from speakers, soft lights inside, leather seats, clean restrooms, extremely polite staffing.
The food i ordered was delicious.
I had a dream near the end of the world that I would eat here, so I came.

We found this place and we are hooked! This is the best sushi we've had in Greenville so far. The prices are super reasonable and the quality is VERY good - you can tell it's all fresh. Plus the chefs make the presentation so nice! Every plate is a piece of artwork and they do a great job in being creative and having a nice presentation. Attached are a few masterpieces we've been given when going there. The staff is also friendly and on their A-game. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a solid sushi meal at a very affordable price.

Tokyo Cafe is best Sushi on east coast period! I have eaten at all the great places from NY to Miami and Denver, Chef Joe of Tokyo Cafe is world class with his creativity and presentation. Go and be surprised, you'll become regulars, promise. Very reasonable and great friendly staff.

Tokyo cafe is my favorite restaurant, I’ve already came back to eat here many times. They have very fresh sushi and the presentation is so pretty!

Ordered the Chilean bass roll and sexy girl roll. Outstanding Sushi! Plus, the wait staff was very attentive and kind. Well definitely return, hopefully next time with a date!

I have been in Greenville 15 years, this is my favorite restaurant. I try to come weekly! Best staff around. Great food

The pork dumplings are decent, sweet potato crunch and hibachi is really good, but sometimes the sweet potato is too hard. My wife likes the Angry Bird sushi.

We went here not knowing what to expect at all and were absolutely blown away by the whole experience! The location is nice, unexpected hidden gem, the interior is very welcoming, clean, the walls are decorated with beautiful photos and unique art, the staff was very considerate and made us feel welcome, the lighting was very peaceful, as was the music, and i noticed they even had tvs with sports on them which at first seemed out of place to me but for sports fans i am sure it is appreciated and it wasnt a bother or a nuisance at all, you couldnt even tell they were on.
The appetizers came very quickly, were fresh, hot, and incredibly delicious, very unique, even the breading on the fried calamari was so good, not greasy, and a very nice crunch. The calamari itself was super fresh and tender, melt in your mouth tender.
The sushi we got...the white geisha, wow incredible freshness, flavor and presentation was so beautiful! I wont spoil just try! We also ordered the beef pad thai and loved it! The beef was so tender and the dish itself had its own signature taste which we loved. We had a wonderful time, drinks were kept filled and the atmosphere was just wonderful. We will be coming back! We are from nc but we will be back to visit! Thank you for the wonderful experience!! One more thing, this is not a $6-8 dollar sushi roll place, it is a little more pricy but definitely worth the cost. :)

They are great for vegetarians, with a wide array of options. I usually go with the peanut avocado roll, sweet potato roll, and Agedashi tofu. But you can’t go wrong.

As an added bonus, they display their passion for presentation. Each time I go they have a new, creative design.

The food was great and the presentation was also super. We tried the dumpling appetizer and shrimp skewers as well as the mushroom soup. For meals we went with sushi and spicy veggies with mango. All very tasty and filling. Topped it off with a generous serving of Tiramisu split for two. Great end to a great meal!
