This is one of our favorite places to dine. It's all you can eat, it's Southern food, and its all been great. Casual buffet spot with a train theme inside, including a train going around the restaurant on a track. Workers are pleasant and service is good. They keep their dishes fresh and filled. Their peach cobbler is one of my favorites anywhere. They also have a few different bbq sauce options that are all tasty. If you like all you can eat spots, definitely come check them out.

Love the idea of a buffet with BBQ. Great sides, and I had all I could eat. BBQ was pulled pork and chicke, and St Louis stulyle ribs. Fall off the bone, and such good flavor I hesitated to add sauce!

My mother and I were out at a doctor's appointment in the area and decided we wanted BBQ. Mutt's has always been a family favorite and it didn't disappoint! The meatloaf was great, the ribs were delicious, and my mother enjoyed the sweet potato souffle! On our way out, we got takeout for the guys at home. Our waitress, Anna, was excellent! Very helpful and attentive, introduced herself to everyone in the restaurant and was nonstop. We'll be back y'all!!

Our first time here and it was definitely worth it. We did the Buffet and it included the drink and dessert , as much as you can eat. The price was worth it , not to expensive at all. It was very clean and the waitress came around to check on you. It's decor was trains and one that goes around the place

The food was great! But the atmosphere was the coolest! There was a train that went around just below the ceiling. And a lot of train decor. It was a great dining experience and will definitely go back.

Mutts BBQ is a great spot for a buffet style meal. If you are visiting from out of town or a local looking for a full plate, give mutts a try.

The buffet was around $15 per adult and they cheaper for kids. I think 12 years and up is adult pricing. However, the price includes all you can eat buffet, fountain drink, tea or water, and all you can eat dessert. If you break that down, the drink would be about $2-3 at any other sit down restaurant, dessert would be close to $5-6+ leaving the all you can eat buffet being being $6-8….when you view it that way, it can help with the decision to visit.

We have a family of 6 and Mutts was cheaper than our family eating 5 Guys without desert.

The buffet, it’s a little crowded, but offers fried and baked options. Ribs, pulled pork and smoked chicken, fried chicken and various sides that rotate per day.

Dessert is sliced pies like pecan, lemon, chocolate cake or individually wrapped ice creams and ice cream bars (which my kids devoured).

Atmosphere was packed, so get there early. You have the option to pay cash or card, and leave a tip with your server who is in charge of an area. Of you pay with a card and choose a tip, they charge your card and give you the tip amount in cash to leave at your table.

All in all, great food and place to eat. You will leave full!

4/08/2022 Dinner with family on Friday night. We found everything was delicious and the staff was very helpful and courteous.
Not crowded, no wait to place the orders or be seated. The restaurant was clean, no masks required.
Our family favorites were fried okra, sweet potato crunch, pulled pork and ribs, slaw and baked beans. All that and more available on the buffet. Personally I always order from the menu because otherwise I over indulge. Friends and family do love the variety of the buffet.
We have always enjoyed eating here over the past 25 years.

We’ve been wanting to try this since moving to Greer, and it did not disappoint! We ordered takeout, so I can’t speak to the buffet experience yet. I can say that if you order takeout, the portion sizes are quite large, and the takeout containers are actually really nice for adult and kids meals. The pulled pork was so tender, and all of the bbq sauces we tried were fantastic. The staff seemed great. The manager apologized for them being short-staffed and the food coming out slightly delayed. Very southern-style decor with a train theme. Comfort food at its best.

This was my first time coming. We ordered the 8 bones platter. OMG the meat was falling off the bone. The best ribs I ever had. The potatoe salad and corn was amazing as well. Can’t wait to ga back. Thanks so much Mutts BBQ

The waitress was very friendly. They were willing to do anything to make your visit pleasant. It is a buffet or you order from the menu. The food is very good.

I have to say I was really good and cheap around 15 usd for a huge buffet and the flavor was really good. The line move fast, is really spacious and I liked the atmosphere. Was too much for a lunch and trying to go back to work after it but I will definitely recommend you to have this experience

Their food is great. The hash and rice, and mac and cheese are worth a drive to the other side of town, in my opinion. Atmosphere is a typical country BBQ place. The buffet is a deal, if you want to eat in and taste the whole menu!

If your in the Greer, South Carolina area, stopping in at MUTTS, is a MUST! Buffet style, with all the southern trimmings. Delicious! Pick and choose from different BBQ sauces and mustards. Clean and cute atmosphere; COVID conscience with gloves and mask. Pulled pork and collard greens were delicious! All staff were friendly and showed this California girl real southern hospitality.

Ok this might be bb inn my top 5 favorite restaurants and after several visits I still can’t decide whether I like the sides or mains better.

My favorite sides are the Mac and cheese, cucumbers, collard greens, sweet potato casserole and the yeast rolls.

Everything is always fresh, and I like the rotating menu for the main courses throughout the week.

Ribs are always ready to go. They don’t fall off the bone but just the slightest tug or pull leaves you with a nice price of meat that isn’t over cooked.

The sauces are good. The fried chicken is good. It’s all good. You can’t really say any one thing is a standout here, because it would be hard to declare a clear favorite.

For dessert, they have ice creams in a small cooler, but I have to get the cobbler or nana pudding. It’s too good to pass up

Everyone I have talked to here is friendly, however there have been several times that once I sit down I’ve never talked to a server. The way it’s set up you don’t really need any interaction with the server, but I do find it a little odd.

Tonight I came in late, and everyone is cleaning. I don’t think it takes anything away from the experience, if you had a question you can talk to someone behind the buffet line.

I think the best part is the pricing though. For $16 a drink is included at dinner. Most restaurants charge $3 for a coke making dinner around $13.

It’s not fancy, however it punches well above its weight class in value.

I wish I could give this place more stars! Wow!! My husband and I went there with our friends and we have never had better BBQ in our lives (and my hubby is from Texas so that says something!)

The staff was kind and helpful, and the ribs were AMAZING 🤩! There was a train that went all the way around the restaurant which was so cute and kept the kiddo entertained. We can't wait to come back one day (SO worth a 23 hour drive!)

Have not spent much time in Greer since childhood, we took a slight detour for a look see and were so pleasantly surprised by Mutt's on every level!

It somehow reminded me of the old BBQ places of the 1960s - that exterior line on the front porch for take out did the trick!

South Carolinian's are sooo blessed with so many options on their state BBQ trail.

My first time there to celebrate my father in law birthday and was very pleased at the buffet. The ribs fell off the bone and the coleslaw was as homemade and creamy as they come. The peach cobbler and ice cream made my day. We will definitely be back and have some pants on that have an elastic waistband!
