We recently had the pleasure of visiting The Sweet Shop for lunch, and it was an experience we thoroughly enjoyed! When it comes to the menu, The Sweet Shop offers a wide range of delectable options at decent prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. Our lunch choices, the Chicken Bacon and Pesto Sub and the Meatball Marinara Sub, were made to order and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight for our taste buds! And, of course, we couldn't resist trying their famous Cannoli for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. 🍕🍨

There was amazing. The atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. The booths were warm and allowed for some privacy. The meatball sub was delicious. The prices are fair. The option of gelato or ice cream is refreshing when many locations with Italian fare only focus on one or the other. The staff or personable and checked on us multiple times. The decor is vibrant and interesting. This is a great spot to bring families or for date night.

This has to be one of my favorite places to eat. The food is of the highest quality with a lot of ingredients being brought in from Italy. Best pizza I have ever had as well as subs. The Ice cream Atmosphere everything is just Jae dropping for a small Cafe.

Everything I get there is delicious. The food in the image was exceptional. Mushroom truffle ravioli and a fresh cannoli. The staff there is all very cool, and give nice conversation while you wait. Also want to recommend the Americano which I’ve gotten a few times. Very good sandwich.

Omg. The cannoli! 🤯Brings back memories of the South side and suburbs of Chicago in the 70s. So, so good. Perfect crisp shell and light tasty not too sweet filling. The real deal folks! Plus the staff is fun to dish with! Can't wait to go back to try one of their sandwiches, pasta Fridays or Sundays and they serve affogatos! 😘😋👍💓

Go on Friday so you can order pasta. I don't care if you are alone and only weigh 20 pounds. You need to order the margarita pizza AND truffle ravioli. Don't leave without them both. The margarita pizza with balsamic is out of this world. It is truly the world's best combination of ingredients on a fantastic crust. The truffle ravioli is outstanding. It is so flavorful and wonderfully cheesy. My only note is to order extra garlic bread so you can sop up all that great sauce. Don't miss out on the soda fountain options either. I got a lemon phosphate that ruined me for other sodas. I crave it all the time now. Perfection 👌

The staff is super friendly and we had an amazing time. My only regret is not ordering dessert to take home. Learn from my mistakes.

I have been wanting to visit this place for forever and I’m so glad I finally stopped in! Upon entry you are immediately greeted by two boisterous gentlemen. I was provided a menu but didn’t have to look long, upon the recommendation of the gentleman behind the counter I ordered their pizza. Their crust is imported from Italy. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza and two cannolis as I was also eating with my eyes lol. I figured I would eat the pizza when I got home…I was so wrong. It smelled so good, I took a slice, then another, then another! 3 slices on the way home, I couldn’t stop. The cashier gentleman had asked if wanted red pepper flakes on my pizza to which I said yes! That was such a good choice, they put just the right amount on and it gave such a zing of flavor to the pizza. Long story short, only half the pizza made it home and the cannoli was immediately devoured. The pizza was on the pricier side, about $14-15 but worth every penny in my opinion. Seriously some of the best pizza in the area. I will stop here everytime im in the area now! Forgot to mention, they make fresh pesto and it’s obvious, it elevates the pizza with such a nice freshness that it’s definitely a must have!

Their food is excellent. We get their personal pizzas all the time. Quality ingredients, many imported from Italy. They make their cannoli's fresh daily and their weekend only pasta specials are amazing. I am obsessed with their phosphate sodas. The owners are always gracious and they have enough help that your water is never empty and your needs are always met. Make sure to order at the register! No table service. I don't mention this because it is an issue. It is just nice to know how it's done.

What a tasty gem this place is. The sandwiches are amazing, I love the meatball subs.
We also came on a past Friday to enjoy pasta night. The Truffle Mushroom ravioli was seriously to die for! The best ravioli I have ever eaten.
For dessert tonight I had the Tiramisu. It is authentically delicious.
Their green river phosphate drink is spot on!
The service is always great and everyone is so nice.

I had the pizza it was very good. Talking with the staff I learned they import their crust from Italy. It was like no other crust I ever had before. I though it was really good. I also had a chocolate shake and the large came out with the extra that was left over in the mixing container so it was like getting two milk shakes. Great job and great experience

AMAZING hidden little gem! We just thought it was a sweet shop! WRONG! great sandwiches! Best cakes EVER!!! BEST coffee drinks! That Toffee Expresso milkshake holy moly! And an amazing staff! Really cute spot. Owners were super friendly and amazing service. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect stop for lunch or ice cream! The owner is hands-on and greets every guest. It's a lighthearted, fun place... we loved the Grilled Chicken Bacon Bianca Pizza is out of this world! We came back 3x during our vacation!

A little piece of home in my hometown. My Sicilian heritage draws me here when I want authentico. The food is cooked to order and is exceptional. The owners and employees treat you like family as exampled by any Italia familia. The desserts are amazing and the prices are perfect. This place is a gem to have in downtown Buchanan. Please take a moment to visit this little piece of Italy.

This little diner is so adorable! It really gives a vibe of diners long ago and the food is fantastic! They have lots of pizza choices and sandwiches and salads. They have Italian coffees and gelatos too!! The staff are wonderful and it’s a very laid back atmosphere and friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend this eatery. The Christmas decorations are adorable too!

Really cute shop. The malts are really good. We had sub sandwich. They where really good. Very feeling.

Owners are really nice, helpful, and informative. Ice cream was delicious. My son loved his milkshake! It was made old style, took some time, but worth the wait. On a strip going through their town with lots of other little shops. A nice pit stop on our way through to South Haven, MI.

I used to go here as a kid living I small town Buchanan when it was known as Marazita sweet shop. Today, I walked in and was pleasantly surprised with what he's done with the place! He left 2 of the original booths (86 the gum under the table) lol and the food was magnificent. I didn't get a picture bc it was just too good! But I do have a video of the owner singing Happy Birthday to my Mom for her 50th bday lunch celebration! He was such a good sport, and we had the chicken pesto, beef tenderloin, blt, and ham sandwiches with a desert, and everything was perfect. 10 out of 10, recommend .

HIDDEN GEM! It blows my mind how easy it is to get a table at this place on a regular basis. The food is an easy 10/10. Hot subs, brick oven pizza, (occasionally) pasta that is to die for, and delicious ice cream. What makes this place even better is the service. I've always encountered the owner when I'm there and he's so friendly as is the rest of the staff. This place is a couple towns over for us and we don't think twice about making the trip!

This place is so so good. I had a toasted sub here that was amazing. And Green River soda made from the syrup. I I drive here about once a month and I thought Three Oaks was the place for a nice lunch but this is so much better AND less expensive.. I can't wait to try more off their menú. And the pizza. And that cannoli.... and the ice cream..
