Notes Coffee House

Notes Coffee is a charming and cozy coffee shop located inside the Rock n Roll High School in Apex. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. It has a good selection of different coffee, hot tea, and iced tea. They have sugar free syrup options for the drinks. They also offer pastries including scones and cookies. The decor and some of the menu items are music themed. It's a really cute place and a must visit for music lovers.

Love this place! The purple rain and lavender haze are easily some of my fave lattes. Their lavender is amazing, and I always say if you can’t make good lavender syrup then you aren’t a good coffee shop but they have it down here! The employees are also super super nice and attentive!

Without a doubt, the best local coffee shop in the area. Nothing else comes remotely close...if you are from the area, you know the local places became less 'local feeling' over time--Notes feels like a breath of fresh air! Barista Katie also did an excellent job making my coffee and always provides a great conversation :-)

I got a chocolate chip milk frappe, and it was delicious!

My coffee was delicious. Ramona makes a tasty latte and is a joy to talk to. I really appreciated the personal touch. My latte came with a chocolate covered espresso bean.

First of all this is the best price in town, for well made complicated drinks and classics. Great customer service, extremely clean but inviting. Wonderful all around this is my new usual place. 10% off specials too!

Oh my gosh the coffee is so good here! The barista really knows what she’s doing, and she was very pleasant. Their prices are reasonable, and they have so many lovely flavors and options!! Tons of non coffee options too (Italian soda, refreshers, non coffee frappes) which we’ll definitely be back for! My husband got a coconut mocha frappe and it was amazing, and I got the iced Purple Rain (blackberry and lavender) which was lovely. The flavor of the espresso was so good, the shots were pulled really well. It’s a very cute, small shop with minimal indoor seating, but has some nice outdoor seating too. It was very clean, and it looks like they have music lessons here which is really cool too!!

Tucked into the corner of a shopping center. This coffee shop is great for those wanting in/out coffee. Not the best place for relaxing for work/meetings. It’s joined with a music studio - so there will be an unorthodox noise you hear from your typical coffee shop. You can hear people learning and laughing, which is nice. Very friendly staff.

First time in as it's about 30 minutes from home, but I was stopping at a carwash close by.

Small spot that's only been open for about 6 months. It shares space with music studios for lessons on the end of a strip of other places set back from the highway. A few window sets are inside, but more table seating outside. Your traditional coffee type selections, in addition to some musical artist inspired drinks like the Elvis and the Ozzy, which I ordered. Both white and regular chocolate in a latte. Really good, not too sweet. I'll definitely be back to sample more flavors before leaving the area in June. Oh, they're having an open house on May 20th.

It’s inside of the music school while was very confusing and almost turned me away and a few other people I saw today that also looked confused.

If I could make some suggestions to potentially lure more people in, make the outside seating area a little bit more inviting and pretty. More people will definitely come if you make it “instagram worthy” and cozy.

This place is cozy and perfect . The girl up front that was helping us was so kind and sweet. We will absolutely be coming back !!!! 🩷

Friendly owner who can pull an excellent double shot of espresso for your specialty coffee latte/cappuccino. Prices are reasonable. This spot just opened up and recommend you go check it out.

I used to go to D*nkin every day but now I go to notes because it's right next to it, the coffee has plenty of caffeine, the lattes are better than anywhere nearby, and the staff is lovely. The interior is also nicely decorated in a midcentury modern sort of way and the sunlight hits it just right. Support local!

Great coffee, great service and great atmosphere. I have come to count on my Elvis latte from Notes and I miss it on days when I don't swing by. 10/10 recommend!
