Sideboard Lafayette

Haven’t been back around this neighborhood in quite some time and thought of this shop. Decor and setting remains the same but the food serve is a little different than how I remembered it several years back.

Food was good, taste like it was made to order. But for a side of tots and a bowl of soup cost equivalent to one entree is quite something…I guess it was dinner pricing?

Service was good and it was a Sunday free parking day which I suppose made up for it.

From my recollection, I've never been to Lafayette, and I was lucky enough to have a quick meeting at Sideboard in June of 2024. While I didn't eat anything during this meeting, the location was amazing. Great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and a collective location that I would love to visit again.

This place is a show stopper when it comes to good quality lunch grubbing. Very easy and accommodating this place has a great charm, service and wholesome quality in their food. Loved the experience and you will too!

My partner and I stumbled upon this place during a bike ride. We decided to try their sandwiches. We came during the lunch time rush and the place was busy during a Wednesday afternoon.

The sandwiches themselves were very tasty. I got the fried chicken and my partner got the grilled chicken. The chips were sliced thinly and fired to a crisp. I’d definitely come back next time I get a chance.

This cafe is too cute! I love the decor and how they serve in elegant ceramics. Better for the environment! Latte designs are cute and definitely makes my day better. And the pastry is delish!

I had this restaurant on my list to go for a while. Took family and friends. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-portioned, and satisfying. Best brussel sprouts I've had; great fried chicken (in a bucket), great beet salad, tasty burger. The only note I have is the fried chicken sandwich was dry, and the bread didn't pair well with it. Their sweets are worth a try as well, albeit expensive. This is a great place between us and our friends.

Lots of seating inside and outside. Heat lamps and blankets are available for outside seating. The Avocado toast with Arugula was delicious! Music was a bit too loud that I had to ask them to lower the volume so we could carry a good conversation without raising our voices.

Super cute! Love the decor and the food was super cozy and perfect for a brunch. Would totally recommend to go with a friend or family :)

Visited on a Sunday morning around 10:30am. It was pretty busy but was able to grab a table outside. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options. Order inside at the counter and seat yourself. Quick and friendly service. Enjoyed all the food! Loved the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs, the flavors are great! The watermelon mint aqua Fresca is refreshing. Excited to come back and try other menu options. Would highly recommend!

Great local joint serving real good food. You order and pay up front and find a table. They'll even bring it out to you to eat in the park right out front. Fun decor with a punny sense of humor.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. Food was great wish I took more photos of our dishes but it is amazing ! Food tastes good the atmosphere was great seating outside was really nice. Definitely recommend to go check this place out.

The food was very good. The breakfast burger was excellent and their pastries are also very good. The service was excellent .

Amazing, quick service and wonderful food that you can tell is made with love. Homemade pastries served daily with a wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch bites. They also have a full coffee bar that is definitely worth trying!

I was really impressed by the quality of the food, I hope that never changes. The counter attendant recommended the tater tots and she was right they were Very good

My husband and I went on Saturday at 11am for brunch. It was crowded and there was a line to order, but it moved quickly. The food and drinks were delicious- shirred eggs and crispy potatoes/bacon, latte and chai latte. And the muffin was delicious too!
We ate indoors since it was chilly.
The only downside was we sat in the corner with the music speakerbox above our heads. It was a bit loud and it made it difficult to talk without raising your voice.

I love this place! Ideal location on Plaza center with quaint indoor seating & plenty of outdoor tables. The staff is friendly & had excellent recommendations when I couldn’t choose from all the delectable options. The Eggs Benedict was perfection to the last bite. The lemon lavender cake is my favorite! I especially appreciate the citrus infused water. Took me a minute to realize the water is self serve. The young woman that crafted my latte definitely created a piece of art, both in appearance and taste. I will definitely be back!

Great food and service. Great atmosphere!

I ordered a mocha and bacon cheddar scone.

The mocha was wonderful and larger than I expected. It really hit the spot.

They warmed up the scone, which was light and cruchy with just enough salt. Delicious!

Price-wise, the food was $$, but worth every penny!

Cute cafe downtown. Busy. Loved the decor and how you order and just sit down. They have a grass spot you can sit on. grab a blanket and go sit in the grass. They do picnic style lunch as well where they fill your picnic basket with what you order and bring it out. My breakfast/brunch was amazing. Full coffee bar... So the cappuccino was amazing beautiful latte art. Had a Bellini as well. And my breakfast Mac n cheese was heaven!!!! I definitely will go back when I visit my best friend. Wish it was in my hometown. Excellent. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Great service. People are so friendly and helpful. We only got drinks but they were delicious. OJ is fresh squeezed.
