Gyro Cafe Smyrna

Aside from the convenience of being just down the road from my job, the food is very good and I usually order their mixed gyro/chicken platter or their Royal Burger for when I really want to just sink my teeth into a juicy burger! A fellow coworker always goes for their Philly Steak sandwich and he too loves them. Clean atmosphere and great friendly service!

I ate here a while back on a whim and had the best most fresh gyro I've ever had. My friends and I also started a sheet saying it was the best gyro in Tennessee!! They hung it up on the wall and the next time we went, there were about 30 new pages all filled with signatures. I sometimes wonder if it's still hanging on the wall. Great food, def check it out!

Quality food, quality service, and a family business! I've been eating here for over 5 years and the food is always quality and consistent. The brothers, Tony and Omar, give excellent customer service. They show the heart it takes to run a business. Its always packed when I visit. Gyro Cafe is a staple of the community. They are efficient and are also the ones taking your order and making your food. This will forever be one of my favorite places to eat.

I started going to this family's first location regularly near MTSU's campus over 20 years ago and was stoked to learn when I started working close to this one, prob 15 years ago, that it is operated by the same people. Always good food and friendly service. Best cucumber/tzatziki sauce around too! They won't give out the recipe, but they will sell it by the pint :)

Authentic gyros! Perfectly spiced and prepared. What a delight to eat here. Got a Lamb and beef hummus plate. There was a hearty portion that could easily been shared between two people. They even have kid friendly dishes to cater to everyone's palate. I will be back and it is definitely worth the trip to go there.

The Philly cheese steak is the best I know of around here. The guys running it keep the food fast, fresh, and on point every single time. I haven't tried anything but the Philly, but it keeps me coming back weekly at least 👌

These guys do it right. Been here many times over the last few years. Friendly, polite, clean and delicious. Wings are our favorite but the gyros are amazing too.

For a regular gyro place, it gets five stars. Place is clean, staff is very friendly and the food is tasty. I got the combo salad. It was about half meat and half salad. A little too much dressing and the chicken had some spices that reminded me more of Mexican chicken. Anyway, not the best i have had but it was good and I would go back.

I walked in unsure of what I wanted. He asked me what I was in the mood for and created me a beautiful masterpiece of chicken, rice, feta, olives, and tzatziki sauce. And it was super fast!

This place is really good and I’m picky about my gyros, great staff too, Kareem was super nice. I’ll be back for sure.

The food is always amazing and the staff is so nice! If I'm ever in the smyrna area my husband and I always make a stop here for some delicious and quick food!

First time eating at Gyro Cafe. I purchased the Gyro Sandwich Combo with tip was $20. A little pricey for a lunch. The size of the lamb gyro sandwich was massive. The taziki was made in house and tasted amazing. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean.
