Waffle House

Super clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was out quickly and correct. Couldn't ask for more. Must have Bert's chili.

So I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday this year. I’m not normally known for diner food or chain restaurants. But I had an occasion to visit this location and see what the newer restaurant was like and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were really friendly and polite. Quick with menus and coffee. The fast order cook was doing his thing and it was fun to hear them speak the orders in WH style. Smothered and covered is really a thing. I had the bacon and eggs over hash browns. Super yummy and the coffee is great. So don’t be afraid to eat outside your comfort zone occasionally. I’m glad I did and enjoyed meet a sweet lady on top of it all. Thank you to the staff. I've been to a few Waffle houses and this one by far the best one yet. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was cooked to perfection. All in all for the first time in a long time I really enjoyed my meal.

Love this Waffle House. My friend and I go around 6pm for dinner. It's never crowded and the two ladies working there are very nice. Our waitress is very nice. I wish I could remember her name but if you go you will recognize her. She will put your silverware in a cup of boiling water, and I love that. The cook, will always cook your food perfectly. Very good place to eat

OMG, like, seriously, Waffle House at 915 East University Ave in my hometown Gainesville, FL is, like, the ultimate hangout! Miguel, the cook, totally nailed my veggie omelet (no cheese + ham), and the toasted bread with grits (no cheese) was, like, outta this world. The waitress, ugh, I wish I knew her name, she was such a sweetie! 💜

Five stars!! I'm from Jax and I come to Gainesville once a year for a doctors appointment. This waffle house is fantastic! Great food, a feel-good vibe and Regina was on top of it! Also, it's the cleanest waffle house I've ever seen! Well done! 👏

We finally have a Waffle House in the neighborhood! My son and I were so excited to have a good breakfast diner nearby. The place is brand new and exceptionally clean. Great service and tasty food! We both ordered a breakfast combo meal and commented that the waffles were great (eggs and sausage too). While I normally don’t like going to chain restaurants, this Waffle House will replace the dearly missed Daybreak Pleasant Street.

One of the cleaner Waffle Houses I have visited. Staff was extremely accommodating. Food was cooked as requested.

Friendly staff, consistently good food. Clean facility (relatively new establishment). Love taking my daughter here before school for eggs, sausage, bacon, grits and a waffle. And good coffee.

Good service and excellent food. A happy surprise for me was that all tax is included in the cost of the meal so what you see is what you pay. A recommendation I have is if you have fridge space, you should get the All-Star Special and get the waffle it to go. It’s enough food for two meals and is definitively worth the cost.

We went in here because it’s my daughters birthday and she wanted breakfast for dinner. Monique I think is how you spell it was the friendliest person we had dealt with all day her and I think Bri is what the other ladies name was. They made my daughters day and she was great at her job. More places need workers like Monique. And Bri did amazing with the cooking I think she is also newer from over hearing.

First I must say I was very impressed with how clean and at how many employees were on staff. At least 10. I was greeted with “Good morning welcome to Waffle House by several of the staff upon entry. Philip took my order within seconds of me choosing my booth. And from there the service from Miss Faye was phenomenal. Attentive but not too much and with a great smile. I’m not native to this area but next time I’m this way I will stop again. Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!

Exactly what you would expect from a Wafflehouse, except was very clean when I visited.

Sharon was a Great Server very cheerful and friendly got our order on point fulfilled and anticipated all our needs food was great too!! And that's why I'll always love this place you can't find more genuine humane people anywhere else thank u waffle house!!
