Great service, great food,
We've been coming here for years when we're in town. Our waiter has worked here for 30 years and is always pleasant and attentive.

Breathtaking view through Laguna Beach Park onto the ocean. Overall experience was great. The service and the food were good except French toast we did not enjoy. The California omelet was really that’s tu as well as orange juice. Beautiful location, one of very few places that have patio overlooking the ocean and the beach.

Really enjoyed the food and service here. The atmosphere is cute. The desserts are luscious. The only problem I had here - and it’s a big one - was the family sitting behind us. We were outside. It was a Sunday afternoon. The family consisted of about 4 or 5 adults and one toddler. The lone male was obnoxious. He treated his server poorly. He complained about how long the food took. Then he complained about the child’s food. The server asked what was wrong with the child’s food. Answer - it’s just macaroni and cheese. The server constantly tried to make everything better by groveling to this awful family and then taking a good portion off the bill. Instead of being grateful for the experience of being able to eat at a restaurant in a quaint town the family was ungrateful and privileged. Maybe in their country restaurants bow to every complaint someone has because they own a Gucci bag but not here. I’m also disappointed that the restaurant allowed all this complaining. They should have simply taken off the child’s food amount and taken the dish away and brought them the check. These are not good patrons to have, especially around people like me. I felt terrible for the server.

Great burgers, great omelets, and the staff is nice!

The place feels like it's in this theme-limbo. Either full-French it or make it American bar-beachy, not both. Also, it would be great if the Mexican kitchen staff didn't get to choose the reataurants music, it's a French restaurant right, so why are we listening to Mexican music (and terrible Mexican Folk music that you hear at drunken parties till 5am at that)? Again, if you theme something, theme it right.

Great experience. Food was great. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed many dishes pictured.

was lucky to get a parking spot right out front (metered street parking) A piece of Paris in the heart of Laguna Beach! Amazing food and ambiance that will take you to Paris. Chair tea lattes were amazing with or without coffee both tasted great! I had the ham cheese and spinach crepe which was not on the menu but was super delicious! I used my table bread for the extra cheese and it was perfect! my husband had the French toast that was stuffed with cheese and orange marmalade. Tasted so fresh and yummy! His breakfast came with breakfast potatoes, bacon and eggs all cooked to perfection and a small side of salad that had a light vinaigrette on it that I finished with my crepe. bon appetit it was amazing! the dessert tray is full of amazing desserts and was hard to pass up! I must say I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! the view of the ocean was amazing and the French music playing was perfect for setting the mood. if you love French cafe's and have been to Paris I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying C'est LA Vie is awesome 👌 I don't even really eat bread and I had to get seconds of the fresh bread they bring to you. It is absolutely amazing the food was wonderful. The view is absolutely gorgeous and you can never go wrong with a spot like this.

Such a exceptional restaurant with breathtaking beach views. The ambiance complements the delectable dishes, and the staff's impeccable service enhances the overall dining experience. It's a perfect blend of scenery and culinary delight.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Laguna Beach. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience...I was so spoiled and felt like a Queen. The food is absolutely amazing – everything I tasted melted in my mouth so beautifully. It was absolutely the best experience I've ever had. Highly recommend!

The cronuts are the best I’ve ever had- but 4 get one free. The breakfast special includes a free mimosa. I had the spinach Florentine and it was delicious

Visited with family for Thanksgiving Dessert. A beautiful selection and everyone truly enjoyed their selection. Fresh and delicious! Adorable decor and a beautiful view of Laguna Beach.

Cobb salad and bruschetta was delicious. All staff was friendly and polite. The view was awesome

A spring day and great food. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed amazing flavorful food. I had the seafood fettuccine which was a large portion filled with shrimp,crab,salmon,whitefish and buttery fresh pasta is the most delicious sauce. Hubby had the Monte Cristo and potatoes. Finished off with a coffee and pastry. I got another pastry to go since it was so good. Parking was easy and just a shirt walk to get to eat a fantastic meal. Well worth the money.

Truly spectacular experience. Wonderful culinary experience (100 times better than in Paris). Friendly and great service. Breathtaking views. Had the opportunity to watch beatifull sunset over Laguna beach. Dinner was also excellent, the seafood crape, lobster 🦞 bisque was very good and one of the best Tiramisu I ever had. This is one of kind experience I'll remember for rest of my life. It made my business trip to South CA worthwhile.
Update, looks like I will be coming back in few months and I'm looking forward visiting C'est La Vie.

Finally was able to come back for another spectacular visit and culinary experience.
As before, food, service and view of beach and sound of the Pacific ocean is an awesome treat to my soul.
Desert selection is also awesome! I had to take my back to the hotel for later, since I was too full to eat at the restaurant.
As for service goes, It doesn’t take that long, but a good meal that is being prepared for you it takes a while. This is not a fast food restaurant. So enjoy glass a. One or your favorite drink while you are waiting for your dish to be prepared.
I love these guys and I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

This place has some amazing pastries and views. If you right around 2ish in the afternoon it's not too full and you might just get a view of the ocean while you’re there. You can pick your pastry and they’ll fix it up in a cold plate. We got the moose cake pictured below. They have good happy hour specials. We were going to comeback but never did. Just came in for about 10 min ate then paid $10.00.

Food was delicious. I had the Florentine ravioli. Husband had a seafood mix in a red base (don't know the name). Excellent!!
Also the desserts are delicious.

My wife and I were walking around Laguna Beach when we came by this restaurant and decided to give it a try and the place did not disappoint. We were seated outside which has a nice view of the park and the ocean. We noticed there was an early dinner special but when we asked our host she didn't seem to know what we were talking about but waiter did. We ordered the Steamed Muscles and Clams for an appetizer, and the Blackened Pork Chop along with the Filet Mignon for dinner. The Muscles and Clams were very meaty and the sauce was a tomato and garlic delight. The Blackened Pork Chop was seasosned and cooked just right, and the sauce had a very rich and hearty flavor that you will want to save your bread for. The Filet Mignon was a lean cut which I like and the cabernet demi glace was thick and savory. There was I believe some sour cream mixed in with the glace which threw me of for a moment but it went well with the steak and vegetables it came with. It was a very pleasant meal and we hope to be back soon.
