This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address 🤣🤣 will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.

I choose to go out of my way (specifically, out of the town I live in) to visit this post office with my mailing business. The gal behind the counter is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. She never gets flustered or upset if there's a line of customers waiting, she treats you kindly and I appreciate that!

We’ve lived in PR since 2011 and I’ve made countless trips to this post office and never had anything less than a pleasant experience. Lines are usually short and staff is for the most part friendly. And as for our mailman Alex, we absolutely adore him! Best mailman we’ve ever had!

Super fast service. The staff here is really good. If there is a line it moves pretty fast ,as the staff here works hard to please you during your visit. My go to Post Office.

This is my favorite post office in neighborhood, the line is always short or nonexistent ,Patrice is always nice and helpful ,large parking ,great overall

USPS still provides, by far, the best value for your money. Tracking and priority are very affordable compared to FedEx and UPS, and in my lifetime, I've rarely if ever received a damage package from USPS (whereas that is usually the norm from FedEx and UPS).

That being said, this location's parking lot is ALWAYS FULL, and I don't know how. I have never been able to park in the lot. Thankfully, there is free street parking right around the corner. It would be nice if there were more parking spots. Maybe it would be possible to repaint the lines in a way that creates more spots rather than making the lot larger? It's a pretty odd shape.

Patrice was awesome helping me apply for my expedited passport. I had some glitches, but she told me what to do and handled me and everyone else at the same time. Great experience. Thank you!

I can only speak to our personal experience: we feel like they do an amazing job. We’ve lived here almost 3 years and only ever had 2 instances where a package didn’t get delivered when it was expected: and in both cases the office was super helpful in diagnosing and fixing the issue (and both packages did ultimately make it to us). I’ve lived in places where the local post office has a “don’t care, not my problem” attitude and I’m thankful that in Park Ridge they do seem to genuinely care.

Convenient location with plenty of parking. Has about 5 handicap parking spaces with 2 of them directly in front of the building within another 10-20 feet from the front door.

Offers all the usual services including PO Boxes, full line of shipping boxes and other shipping materials.

Ignore what anyone else said, I've mailed many packages to this post office and its strictly business when there. Give them the package, tell them what class, pay, and leave. Efficient, fast, and effective. Those who say they are rude probably have a personal vendetta against them but overall they are good workers. Those who had problems mailing things probably don't know how to mail or how to use the post office properly.

Special commendation to the front-counter woman who was single-handedly taking care of business today (I had to go in twice today, 11/16, and, both times, it was her and only her. I don't know her name, but she has medium-length curly hair and dimples.

Negative reviews must have been before the nice middle-aged lady took over. She’s fast and accurate and nice. Not sure what else one could require of their local post office.

My passport, which was supposed to be delivered to my address in Wisconsin, somehow ended up at this post office. I was able to call them on the phone and Barbara found my mail and shipped it to me immediately. I’m very grateful for her help.

Larry Freeman was visiting our store on his lunch/personal time & Larry kindly took my mail to office for faster delivery. Personally I was blown away by his willingness to help me get it out fast to a friend in need. Ty ty ty for being a huge relief for me doing that task. God bless 🙏 🙌

It’s a post office. I find the workers to be busy doing their jobs similar to any other post office in America. Yeah it’s not all about customer service, but they get the job done.

The staff is friendly. I sent out my international mail which didn’t accept by another USPS store.
