Great atmosphere. Smells amazing. Lots of free samples. I bought a bag of the mix of almost all kinds of popcorn. Definitely a treat for my tastebuds! Some of the sodas have hilarious names and flavors. Ice cream is always fresh. Couple conversations with the people inside, they are amazing.. love this place.. definitely a must visit!

I have been going here for the past 10 years and absolutely love their icecream! They have many flavors to choose from and will sometimes introduce or switch out some flavors. I’ve tried multiple flavors, including Zanzibar chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie dough, and scotcharoo. All of them have been delicious and are high quality! They also have amazing popcorn with many flavor options, including traditional flavors and specialty fun flavors (like puppy chow popcorn). I love their cheese popcorn! They have a beautiful outdoor seating area with string lights, tables/chairs, and flowers, as well as the benches along the sidewalk for seating. Great location across the street from Newbo. Highly recommend! I will be back soon!

A local store in the newbo district. You can stop in and get some popcorn, ice cream or a different flavor of pop. They have various popcorn that you can sample as well.

One of my favorite spots in Cedar Rapids! Variety of young customer service people I have met over the years but trained well, always kind and courtesy. Bring family and friends from all over the United States here whenever they are in town! I'm here even at least once or twice a month! Big lover of popcorn and great service!

Love this place!! Definitely my kids favorite place to go for ice cream. Location is a positive as well as it's surrounded by newbo market, food options and plenty of places to walk around. The ice cream flavor options and customer service is always amazing!! Highly recommended for nights out with your kids, spouse or friends.

Absolutely amazing! The ice cream was delicious and the lady behind the counter didn’t skimp on the ice cream! We walked in to a beautiful great smelling shop with it a little busy and we said we would be back, when we came back the lady remembered us and chatted a little appreciating that we made it back in before gettin back to her customers! Loved the small town shop vibes dispite it being in a bigger city like Cedar Rapids! Thanks for a great experience:)

Huge variety of popcorn flavors. Clean interior with seating outside. Little spendy but worth it. Large ice cream selection but didn’t try any of the flavors.

Took a nice walk to get some ice cream. I got the waffle cone with two scoops. One scoop of cookie dough and one scoop of malt amore. It was delicious. 🍦It was my first visit but definitely not my last. $5.87 but worth the price.

Awesome place free smells and tastes staff is awesome recommending things and providing any sample you want. I got some awesome fudge tastes great and love the creamy ice cream too mmmmmmm so tasty. Thanks for the awesome service cannot wait to visit cedar Rapids again soon.

Best ice cream in town, tons of different flavors of pop corn.

My boyfriend got gifted a box of 4 different flavors & let me just say. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. That man can't really eat popcorn much, which means I get most of them to myself & that PUPPY CHOW POPCORN??? 10/10. THATS THE BEST POPCORN IVE EVER EATEN. I'm super excited to try the lemon cookie flavor as well. But seriously. I will be placing an order ASAP. Because y'all really did something here !!!!

Our large group walked in to almost famous at five minutes before closing. The three young employees greeted us with smiles and were super super helpful! They patiently told us their favorites and their recommendations, and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Every single flavor was delish including the carrot mango Italian ice! And later, as we finished up our cones outside on the sidewalk, we watched the same three employees do all the closing chores and leave together like actual teammates. We even saw one of them bend over and pick up a stray napkin off the sidewalk and throw it in the trashcan. It’s obvious that those guys take pride not only in their work, but in their place of employment in their customer service. I will absolutely be back.

Love their popcorn! First discovered it at their Des Moines store and I get popcorn everywhere we travel and this is by far some of the best I’ve had. Love the flavors. We bought 8 bags. Chocolate shop ice cream is also delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Be sure to ask for a sample!
