One of the better post offices in our area. Sometimes the men are "focused" and not very pleasant but for the most part everyone here seems to like their job and enjoying working. Always have the stamps I want and never rude. I make people smile everywhere I go and this place is no exception. I read the other reviews and am behooved bc I have never witnessed anything other than assistance. Clean too and fully stocked with boxes of various sizes :)

I took my daughter for a passport with some urgency. Though we're from Tampa, this facility was the only one with availability. We did not wait long before we were seen earlier than our scheduled appointment. Vince was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Great customer service! April went above and beyond to help me when my tracking number was not working. She got it all figured out and reached out to me to make sure I didn’t have any other questions. Thank you!

I was here one Saturday and the line was very long. I was prepared to wait for a little while, but to my surprise the line went so fast. What I noticed was that each customer was being helped individually with care and good communication. Each employee looked very present and was intent on listening to each customer. It was actually very awesome to see. I was helped by Isais and he was also very present and his communication was great. He understood what I needed and I was out of there fast. They could have decided to be rude and rush each person through, but that's not how it went or felt at all, i think it had a lot to do with how great each of them communicated and understood exactly what each customer needed. Very friendly staff, thank you all so much for your service and for making coming to the post office a great experience.

Best time to come I've found is around 10:00 am.I like using the self serve machine outside the caged area because it's open all the time, just need to use touch screen and hardly ever a wait. Easy inst to instructions and boxes are right next to the machine just bring packing tape if you're sending valuable, I don't trust self stick boxes.

I run a home business that uses USPS on a daily basis. They come to my door every day to pick up my packages and when I have special needs I come to the post office here on Belcher and they are always prompt, kind and courteous. I have spoken to the manager, Patricia whenever things get complicated and she is extremely helpful, even taking time out to personally call me with updates when things need sorting out. What a fantastic place, couldn't do it with out them!!

This is my primary post office to do my postal errands at, even though there's one closer to my house. Never had a problem with employees or shipping results.

Keep in mind, by the sheer size of the facility, this is a hub/distribution location as well, the employees are extremely busy as a result. Also, if you have a question, don't cut in line to shout about boxes or mail holding or whatever. Or better yet, go on the website and do the bare minimum research about shipping options/PO Boxes/forwarding/holds.

I've been going to this post office for four years and while I sometimes have to wait a couple of minutes, the place gets a lot of body traffic. The staff are always friendly and professional and I know them and they know me. I respect this team of hard working individuals and it makes a difference in my life that I have access to this efficient service. Thank you everyone at the Belcher Post office!

I want to applaud mail carrier Amy for helping me save money on my package. She felt my box was too light for $65 and decided to put my gift bags in another box that ended costing me $21!! Thank you so much!! You are appreciated.

I have to use the post office a lot for work & this is by far the best post office I have ever been to. They have the best staff I have ever encountered. They have often saved me money on shipping costs by helping me switch boxes, cut boxes down, change envelopes, etc. They are very fast and very effective. I am very thankful that those employees are there to help me!

Every time I go there I am very please to workers are excellent they're nice to me and I have no problem with the lines most of the time they move really quickly. As far as all these other complaints on here people need to understand that the government has cut a lot of jobs from the post office there's not as many people working there anymore because people don't mail a lot of things like they used to years ago everybody does automatic billing nowadays. They were even considering getting rid of the Postal Service all in all because primarily people just use it for packages and there's a FedEx & UPS. Majority of Americans are very unappreciative and very demanding. They have this entitlement belief just for living in this country they expect everything handed to them don't complain about the lines don't complain about the service if you are not going to support the Postal Service Just deal with it. It could be worse but then again maybe that's what this country needs to suffer a little bit and learn how to be respectful and not so demanding

I was so impressed a couple of weeks ago when I brought a package to mail that still needed to be taped. I asked a question about the packaging and placed a receipt inside. normally, I just drop off a package that is ready to be shipped. when I asked about taping the box, to my surprise, the gal mentioned they had tape for sale on the counter and pointed to the reasonably priced dispensers. I noticed some apprehension in her voice as I can imagine previous reactions.

I was surprised at first and quickly realized how wonderful this is. I can't imagine how many people come to the post office and always ask postal workers to wrap the box for them.

Hurrah U.S. Postal Service for saving our taxpayer's money!!!

GREAT JOB!

Some of the things complained about here are petty. First off, the Post Office in general is not the place it used to be in years past. The personnel have to wait for the machinery that is supposed to save time to do its thing.
My dad and brother spent their careers as postal employees. They had benefits, good insurance, and decent pay for most of the years they worked. My dad had better than my brother. Today, carriers are just dumped on. When they have a mail check, all the mail except first class is held back so they don't get a fair amount of time allotted to them to deliver all the mail they usually have. They are told to report to the office later in the morning due to waiting on the machines to have things semi-sorted, then they still have to put up all the mail into the slots to deliver it properly. This is the reason you are getting your mail later each day. Many employees are not regular employees, but rather 90 day wonders; meaning they will only have a job for 90 days and then they most probably will be let go. I think MOST Postal Employees do the best job they can and unless you know what they are going through to work for you, don't complain until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Blame the bosses in Washington DC! I've just had a big problem with a Certified Mail Receipt. Chances are it got caught in a machine somewhere, and someone got blamed for it. The Post Office is not easy to work for between the management and the complaining public. If something of yours is placed in someone else's mailbox, meet your neighbor. It's happened to me too. I just give it to them and hope they will do the same. Who knows if it was your regular carrier, or a substitute delivering to a new route he or she has never done. (Everyone makes mistakes - we all need to learn from them!)

These employees do a great job considering the difficult people they have to serve and a management team that seems out to destroy the very organization that employs them. Best value for shipping. Privatize it and we'll be paying $7.00 dollars to mail a Christmas card! By the way, they were one of the only government services at work the day after 9/11. Thanks again for the hard work you do!

Just got back from this post office. It was my first time there. It was only a 1/2 block walk from where I live. I used the self-service machine and got stamps for my letter and sent out a small package. The kiosk was really fast and easy to use. The only downside is that the cost of mailing the letter was $0.47 but I needed to make a $1.00 minimum purchase so I ended up getting 2 additional $0.47 stamps. Buying 2 additional stamps wasn't that big of a deal so I'm giving this a 5 star review.

Came out on my lunch break, they were fairly busy but the line was moving. The staff was super friendly. One of the employees (manager?) was actually working the line as people waited, helping out where he could. Good job USPS!

In spite of the busy time of year, Amy took the time to help me figure out the best way to package and send gifts for them to arrive before Christmas! I was very satisfied and well-taken care of. She went "the extra mile"!!!
