Casa Familia

So we frequent this restaurant almost every trip to WV when we go riding. We showed up around 8pm on Friday evening and the food was great. Fast forward 24 hours Saturday evening the group we rode with wanted to eat Mexican for supper and they served us supper a group of 9 and food was served fast and delicious. Fast forward 27 hrs later Sunday night we rode in at 8:50pm been riding for 11 hrs only eating breakfast. We rode about 130 miles and had detours on the way back, severe weather, wind, rain, fallen trees and downed power lines. We all were exhausted and hungry, I walked to the door and ask if they were open, knowing the sign on the window says closed at 8:00pm. The lady ask how many in our group and I said 6. She said come on in and we took the chairs off the table because they had already cleaned up for the day and they were so friendly and knew what most of us wanted to drink and eat. I did try 3 different entrees and they all were amazing. I highly recommend Casa Familia serving staff and the cook(s). I’m sure they wanted to be going home to be with their families about the time we rolled in but they didn’t hesitate to say come on in. Definitely will be going back, it’s the people like this that make our trips to West Virginia so memorable and we love it so much. Thank you for your hospitality and also for the great food.

Love this place. Food is excellent every-time. Our group ate there. 3 times this trip It was amazing each time. The staff is so sweet and makes sure you have everything you need and more. Sunday night we came in from trails late. They were closing up already had chairs on tables. They told us to come on in and have a seat they would be happy to serve us. There was no rushing us to hurry out. I’m telling you this is the best place. I promise your first time there will not be your last.

Our group come to WV quite often. We have eaten here on almost every trip. This weekend we ate there all 3 evenings. Our groups enjoyed many different foods, all were amazing. The service is beyond what would be required. We thank the staff for the experience and their service.

Great food and friendly staff I've never eaten authentic Mexican in Mexico but it's better than any Mexican food I've had back home or anywhere else while traveling

Stopped here to eat while in Bramwell riding the trail system because the reviews were so good. It did not disappoint, everyone loved their food. You got chips and salsa when you sit down and they had awesome margaritas lol. Definitely stop here if you're around!

Best Mexican food we have all had for years. Everything was very fresh. The owner and our server Cannon did a great job. If your in Bramwell this is a must stop.

Amanda is the owner and she was amazing. The food is so good, a tiny gem nestled in Bramwell. The salsa that was brought out with the chips was so fresh. We also ordered a side of guacamole and it tasted like they just made made it. There was a party of 4 of us and all of us raved about the food. I ordered the mixed street tacos and they were delicious. A little lime and the sauce that accompanied them made them perfect. My boyfriends mom got the taco salad and she loved it. My boyfriend ordered the carbon chicken tacos and the steak quesadilla, and he said it was some of the best Mexican food he ever had! If you love genuine Mexican food, and you are are in the area, stop here! It will be your new favorite place!

My son and I stopped by in July. I was a little concerned that it wasn’t going to be any good because we were the only ones there. Man was I wrong! It was the BEST Mexican we have ever eaten. We have eaten at many Mexican places the we consider to be great but none of them compare to the quality food that you get here. The only 2 negatives are they don’t have alcohol. I really could’ve used a margarita. The other negative is I can’t eat Mexican anywhere else without comparing it to this since it is never as good as what we got here.

We rode the Pochahontas trail into town to eat dinner and stumbled upon this great Mexican Restaurant. We eat Mexican all over the country and this is in our top 2. The waitress was very friendly, the cook definitely knows what he’s doing, and it’s not overpriced at all. We liked it so much we came back on our last night in town. Well Definitely be going back on our next trip in September!

I was glad a friend recommended this restaurant. I lived in San Antonio for 12 years and always search for great Mexican food restaurants. I have found it here! My biggest test is the guacamole and theirs is top notch - fresh great consistency with all the right ingredients. The enchiladas I had were superb with all the fixing! Good value too.

Loved this restaurant! I moved to WV from Texas and am always looking for good Mexican food. My hubby and I were visiting Ashland Resort to ride the Hatfield McCoy Trail System and decided last minute to visit Bramwell for lunch. This place was open on a Sunday so I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was surprised. Fast friendly service. Great prices especially for a tourist area and the food was ON POINT!!!! Forget Ole Jose! This place has great food and was easy to get to from our location via the Pocahontas trail. It was so good, I asked for a to-go box and took my food right back over Pocahontas trail to our cabin at Ashland Resort. I made just one mistake. I didn’t get the cheesecake. But hey, there is next year!!! Highly recommend this place! Enjoy!!!

Took the Hatfield McCoy trails to here for lunch. Awesome food and super nice staff! Authentic style at very reasonable prices. The building is also super cool and historical. Great stop if you are grabbing ice cream down the street.

Stopped in off the trail and this place was amazing. Authentic tasting food. Very fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back.

Took the family and a friend here last night after cutting grass all day. Seen some familiar faces had a good time. The hot sauce I had with my fajita nachos was amazing. Good food, good people.

We had an incredible experience at Casa Familia. Staff was super friendly (very understanding when our son started to act up), food came out very quickly, and it was AMAZING! I strongly recommend all to make the trip...You WON’T regret it.

Not your average Mexican fare. It was really good and downtown Bramwell, surrounded by history!

Me and my husband stopped by here and we both loved it! I ordered shrimp enchiladas and he the chori pollo. Very yummy!

Nice little Mexican restaurant in a quite little town. Food was delicious!!! Only thing no Beer! But the food made up for it...

Absolutely fantastic hole-in-the-wall gem of an establishment. The tacos are spectacular and the environment is friendly. We've been there twice now and will be back soon.
