Omega Restaurant Pancake House & Bakery

Absolutely loved this Pancake house, everything from the service to the food was perfect. The plates were very big, enough to share with someone. We ordered Nutella crepes, they were very good. Also not pictured is a strawberry shake, it was delicious. The Malibu Panini was super good, had to take half of it home because of how filling it was. We had the best and sweetest server, Lisa, she was very thorough and fast. Highly recommend Omega Pancake House.

I haven't been to Omega since they remolded, so today I decided to go and have breakfast.

I was greeted when I walked in and was seated.

I ordered the breakfast special, which consists of
2 pancakes
2 Sausage
2 eggs and a cup of coffee.

The pancakes were good and fluffy, and so were the eggs. The sausage was good as well. The coffee was okay and was not as strong as it used to be, but overall, I had a great experience.

This was an amazing experience, we ate there on the 4th of July and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the price. Jennifer was our server, she was so friendly and was quick with the refills of coffee without being overbearing. Will definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Good customer service, waitress stayed on top of things. Service was fast, no long wait time on food. Will definitely be back!

Greek Omelette was excellent. I asked for some Gyro too. Great atmosphere and tons of food options.

Had the apple cinnamon French toast and it was amazing. Becky was the greatest waitress ever. Very friendly and in a great mood. The restaurant was super clean and comfortable just like home. So many great choices on the menu. Can't wait to return and try more.

This Omega is a throwback to all the Greek owned diners I visited as a kid. The food is exactly as I remember. Nothing fancy but good quality and decent portions. Love the dessert display. Always a fabulous touch. The service was outstanding. We dined with a rather large group and the server couldn’t have been more pleasant.

Our Family has been coming here for 40 years! The best breakfast around!!! More people need to know about this place!! There Apple pancakes and Dutch babies are the best I’ve ever had!! The service is excellent! They are very personable and are all very happy! They will do anything and everything to make your experience top notch!!

Really yummy! Huge portions! Great value! Waitress was great but had too many tables to cover but she did s great job.

Jennifer was our server and she was so friendly and really attentive to our large group we had 12 people in our group, she didn't miss a beat drinks were always full, our orders were perfect. She did amazing, had a great attitude and was always smiling.The food was cooked to perfect. I had pancakes and the husband had BLT with soup and everything was just delicious. The pancakes had such a great taste instantly made me think of my grandma. We literally has zero issues with our orders. The soup was an absolute must get. Minestrone with the bread they put on tables so delicious. They give you a basket of mixed breads and berry muffins and I could have eaten it all, bread was fresh and paired well with the coffee we had...which by the way EXCELLENT flavor coffee and they kept it brewed fresh which is huge for me. I am a coffee lover and they definitely succeeded in the coffee department. I give this place 10+ stars. Keep up the fabulous job. Even the gentleman clearing dishes was very friendly and had a smile all the time. He and Jennifer did absolutely fabulous. Great staff. I also loved seeing the available desserts in the bakery case when you walk in. Lets you look and gives you time to decide for after your meal. I enjoyed seeing them verse reading about it on menu huge A++++. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. You wont be disappointed. They also had a very well maintained parking lot, literally zero garbage in their parking lot and absolutely beautiful flowers all around the front, you can just tell how much they love their business, very very nice to see.

Probably one of my favorite skirt steaks and eggs in the burbs. I think my parents started taking me here back in the 70’s.

Love this place for good home town cooking. This is my go to place for soup! Best soups around. I also love their home made creamy garlic salad dressing.

Late dinner on a Monday night. Got served fast, had ribs dinner and a steak dinner. Salad that comes with dinner is not fancy, but good portion. Baked bread was excellent. The ribs were fall off the bone done and the steak was done perfectly. Took the desserts home.

Tina was a fabulous waitress, she welcomed us right from the beginning!! The portions are huge, they even gave my kids and extra pancake!! Will definitely return the next time I am going through Downers Grove!

Food was OUTSTANDING!! Serving sizes were very generous and if you are from the south, you won’t be disappointed. Our server was very hospitable and made sure we were happy with our selection. The prices were surprising low for the amount of food they give you. The wait to be seated was very short, but there was about a 15 minute wait for our food. The service and quality of the food definitely made it worth the wait. Five stars every time!!

Each and every time I enjoy a meal here. Both myself and the group I'm with always enjoy our meals immensely! The wait staff is awesome. We try to have Rae serve us if she's working that day. Again a wonderful restaurant for any meal breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Excellent food and service. Our waitress was Anastasia. She was top notch. Very attentive and happy. We will definately be back.

Multiple visits to this restaurant with guests and NOT one disappointment ! Our server "Dayanara" been most tentative, great service. Order any dinner selections, you'll thank me later.
