For years, this has been the most amazing post office. The counter people (esp. Dawn) are just amazingly positive and efficient. The carriers are extremely helpful and personable. The postmaster really helped me out when I was stuck out of the country for 5 months during the pandemic. I've written letters to the Postmaster General complimenting this branch on their level of excellence.

I get my needs met, praise the Lord! I Expect more people to Flow in Godly fruit when leaving a rating and think at least you have what you need and remember Galatians 5:22-23(N.K.J.V.)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. So Operate in a motive of godly love.

These guys are slow when it comes to deliver. I and I sure many other have to wait a Extra week for there package to be delivered, my package should if been here but looks like I got to wait another week, also I had a package deliver once and I had to wait a half months to receive the package.

I've dealt with the same older woman at the front desk at the office numerous times. she denied grabbing my package for me when I had a notification saying it was at the office. I took time out of MY busy day to go pickup my OWN package. what's so difficult about going to grab it? in theory its saving your mail carriers the extra load!
she told me she couldnt and that I would have to wait until the next day..
all of that aside, her absolutely rude demeanor was unprofessional. lady, that is your job... you're literally getting paid for this position. I get it's probably very busy and hectic in there but c'mon. no excuse...

on a positive note,I absolutely love the two Male MAIL carriers. the older guy with the glasses is always happy and sweet to everyone. that's what you guys need more of!
and the new younger guy with the dark curly hair and beard is my new crush.
thank you to the mail carriers!🥀🙏🏼

This is crazy! It took a week for 1 piece of mail to get to where it was supposed to and when they received it, it was stepped on and ripped up!! Highly disappointed because it should not take 1 week for them to get a letter… should of been 3 days at max 4. This is my 2nd time having issues with Columbia so if you were looking for a place to take your mail to, I don’t recommend here. Poor mail service. This is not how i took it in to the post office and they should have not received it like how it gotten.

I go into the Columbia, Pa. Post office and they hand me a completely smashed box. Roger says the smashed up boxes most times the package is ok. Justin nervously watched as I opened the box to my dismay. Every single part was smashed. I refused the package. I emailed sender that’s in another country. I get the most rude call from Janet saying they are dropping this box on my porch and calling it delivered. I explained I will not accept a box clearly damaged by USPS. She screams she is doing so. Not a let me help you with this situation that was clearly not caused by you. I’m not the sender I can’t initiate a USPS claim. Only the sender can. Has to be the WORST customer service. I’ve called Janet multiple times when time sensitive mail gets delivered to a street behind mine with the same house number different street. I shrug it off every time and agree people make mistakes. How this has been handled is completely unacceptable.

This post office has by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They ALWAYS have attitudes and are rude with you, when dropping off packages you have to make sure to get a receipt or they may wait till the next day to even scan your package. I had a tracking number that I dropped in the drop box, this took 3 days to receive its first scan. Most of the time if you went in you had to wait at least 5 minutes in line. I recently relocated and my new post office is speedy as well as has kind staff, this office is smaller than Columbia and yet moves the line twice as fast. I expected more from Columbia, thankfully I will never be experiencing this office again and hopefully no one else has to experience such horrors either.

The mail carriers need to pay more attention to their surroundings I can't say how many times I've had solar lights knocked over and broken do to mail carriers walking through the yard even resorted to building a new railing to prevent them walking through the yard and lights are still getting broken

Multiple times I've come home to find my mail laying on the ground under my mailbox. Don't bother calling them, the robot will talk and talk forever just to tell you it's an hour wait to speak with someone. Even when I go in to the office the customer service is absolutely horrible. The people here are rude and act like there's nothing they can do to help you even though it's their responsibility to get your mail and packages to you. Honestly this is a terrible post office and in my opinion the management here needs a change up. Not surprised it only has 1.9 stars at the time of my rating. Avoid this place like the plague.

If I could minus stars I would. The woman I spoke with 2 times was very disrespectful, rude, hateful. She would not let me speak to a supervisor. Just saying if u hate ur jobs please quit instead of being a unpleasant unprofessional person.

I called this morning to see if I can pick up my package because I wont be home when its delivered and it's going to be sitting in the rain and out in the open the lady that answered the phone Janet or something like that tells me at 8am to call back at 9 because they weren't done scanning them so I call back and she tells me they already went out and i can't pick it up because I'm not allowed so I tell her my situation and she tells me well I would have to wait for it to get back to the office then I can pick it up or it will just go bacl out the next day and I can go outside and wait for it smh then she rushed me off the ohobe when I wasn't done asking questions because she had to step out the store!! She was rude and unprofessional I hate that i can't go through a different post office or I need to contact someone above her because I get rude service every single time I deal with this post office

They need new delivery drivers. "Attemped deliveries" multiple times, but never came to the property. I expect them to do their job when I pay extra for 2 day delivery.
