I had such a wonderful experience at this store, thanks to Ria at the cash register. She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I was looking for a jumbo crochet hook (25mm) and Ria went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. She even took the time to assist me with navigating the store’s app to ensure I could easily scan my membership and helped look for any discounts or deals available.

Although the store is housed in an older building, that doesn’t take away from the charm or the quality of service you receive here. In fact, it only adds to the character of this location, making it feel cozy and unique. Out of all the Joann’s I’ve visited, this one stands out as the best, and that’s largely due to the exceptional customer service from people like Ria. I will definitely be returning!

Second favorite fabric store in Jersey, love the coupons because generally I think they are over priced for whats available. The coupons bring the products down to what it is really valued or worth. Otherwise people are nice there and selection is usually good. I frequent the store often and never had a bad experience.

Colonia, NJ store: Nice selection of fabric - which is what I shopped for today. Made use of 60 percent off certain quilting fabric coupon in the app and sale prices on other materials. Plus used my $5 reward earned by using the app on a second purchase. The ladies at the cutting table were very nice and efficient. Donald, the manager, manned one of the registers and was very nice to all the customers. Great shopping day - will return.

I have been coming here for years and I’ve always had great experiences. There’s a lot of fabric to choose from and it’s usually pretty quick to get it cut. I usually go for the more affordable printed fabrics to practice with because I’m more of a beginner.

On my most recent visit, the fabric bolt I picked out for my project was already cut into three odd pieces. I told the attendant it was okay and I would take it anyway, but she insisted on placing a discount on the sale since the odd cuts would be adding to the work needed for me. That was just such a nice thing to do and without me even asking. It just goes to show how much the staff here cares.

The interior/exterior of the building is really nostalgic too, so if you like feeling like you’re visiting the 80s or 90s, this is your place to go :-)

Had a great experience here. The store had a great selection of trim and I found some items I needed that I couldn’t find anywhere else. The lady who helped me was extremely nice(I believe she was the manager)and even came over to ring me up since the people in front of me had a large amount of items and I only had a few things. Will definitely make the trip to this store the next time I need something even though some of their competitors have stores much closer to me. Worth the ride.

Great store and amazing prices!! Came here Sunday to fix a zipper on my fleece and Joy was so helpful, taking the time to look up the directions on my phone and basically putting the zipper on for me. You don’t find customer service like that easy these days. It was extremely refreshing, thank you Joy :)

Lucy and Rosie were very friendly and helped me as best as they could with my return. During this pandemic I purchased a lot of things that unfortunately came without tags and broken from online. Lucy was very patient and helped me with a smile on her face. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole transaction. Not many people will go above and beyond like she did for me and I appreciate it so much! I hope she gets recognized for such wonderful customer service !!!

Honestly, with every Michael's , AC MOORE and Hobby Lobby all over the place, I sometimes forget Joanns exists. BUT- when I remember, and I need something, they never disappoint. I've never left this store empty handed. They have a huge selection of colored craft wire where other stores have the basic gold silver green.

The cashier was helpful & patient when my email coupons disappearred. She helped me get it back and noticed I had another that might apply too! $1.02 isn't that big a deal, but the kindness was.

Giving 5 stars for excellent customer service! Had 2 very helpful associates during my shopping trip. Especially the cashier! I'm sorry that I didn't get her name she was on register around 1pm on Sunday.

Karen was great helping us fix the ticket price with the flyer because the bloom flowers were buy 1 get 2 free but it didn't say that. Quiora was our cashier who inputted all the changes and made the transaction very smooth. Nice people and the craft store had everything we were looking for

Had the best experience today! Called in the afternoon spoke with Don and later Donald- I told them I was hospitalized & still needed to prepare 2 gift baskets for this Saturday. Both offered to shop for me and have a family member stop by the store and pay and pick up the items! That’s exactly what happened I called in the evening and told Donald what I was looking for, he was patient, offered suggestions and told me he would place all the items aside until someone could come in to pay and pick up. I’m still hospitalized but have all my craft items home waiting for me for Saturday they were lifesavers thank you so much you saved me so much time! Service was exceptional and this is not a typical service that’s offered ! Joann Fabrics in Colonia is the best!

I'm giving 5 stars because the customer service was outstanding. I called to check on a product and the young man who answered was nice & helpful. He also stated, "I hope to see you soon," so why wouldn't I chose to drive the extra 10 minutes to get there?

First time to this store, and I was definitely able to get the item I was looking. The staff was attentive and helped us to take to asle the item should be available. Not busy but decent place..

Great products! Some things are a little pricey, but lots of sales so its worth it.

The experience was great. We ran into a sales associate who helped my mother pick out everything she needed to completed a hoddie/sweater that was started by my nephew. Wish I would have gotten her name. I will be going back to the store with my mother again.

Really nice place to get all your arts and crafts stuff. They have home decorations and fabrics as well which can be cut to whatever dimensions are required. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality which is reasonably priced too.

I am a frequent shopper at the Joann 's in Colonia Store. It's a great store with a very friendly staff. Yesterday they out did themselves. I had been trying to purchase a child size mask for my Autistic grandson in hopes that he would wear it . With his sensory issues this is difficult. He likes Mickey Mouse so I thought I would give that a try. No luck sold out every wear so I called the Joann's store to see if they had any fabric I could use to make one. Don answered the phone and he TOTALLY STEPPED UP. He did not know that I was a regular and busy as they were with their curbside pick ups he took time to check the stock to help someone with a special need. He had staff members cut and put pieces in a bag and I flew back to the store. When I got there two young ladies brought out a bag filled with multiple choices of Mickey and Minnie fabric and Don's message that the fabric was a donation for my grandson .They all wished me luck, hoping he will take to one or more of the multiple Mickey and Minnie Patterns with great concern for his safety. They were all so concerned and helpful, If not for the virus I would give them all a hug! Especially DON !

Picked up some fabric for my DIY Mummy Halloween costume. They had everything I needed at amazing prices!

I don't go out for fabric often. Most of the time I use my online wholesaler, but when I get a rush custom order, this is where I come. The staff is always fantastic & today as I was presenting my coupons, the check woman even had an additional coupon to add to my order providing an additional savings.. .cant ask for more
