Beautiful view, good food, decent prices. The crab corn chowder is the best soup I have EVER enjoyed. Will return for that reason alone!

My crab cake sliders were tasty and the service was great! It has a beautiful water view too!

this cafe was fantastic. we were looking for something locally owned and found this on Google Maps. the atmosphere and setting is beautiful. the food was delicious. the waitstaff was so nice and really pleasant to talk to.
there are options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free/intolerant eaters. would definitely recommend the crab and corn chowder, tomato basil bisque, and the spinach panini.
will definitely be coming back!

Great place tucked away on the river. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. Friendly staff that truly wants to provide top notch service! Specials are always a must try, especially if they have fresh rock fish!

Good service, fantastic food. Crab and corn chowder for the win. Also pleased to see vegetarian options—I enjoyed the spinach panini, which was large and not greasy. Will return soon to try the fish, which they told us is sometimes caught day-of!

I was traveling from Southeast Virginia to DC, and we hit a long stretch with limited cafe options right around lunch. After a little searching and making sure this was not inaccessible to the public I went to Machodoc Creek Cafe, and boy am I glad I did. Excellent food, wonderful location and views, people were very nice, and it was excellently maintained.

Very charming little restaurant on the water. Attended a work party there. Staff were unobtrusive but very helpful when needed. Google Maps does not quite get you to where you need to park in order to go to the restaurant. You have to drive through a stop sign down a little lane to get to the parking lot.

Delicious sandwich with a view -- doesn't get better than this! I got so excited I forgot to take a pic before I took a bite. Ordered their spin on a BLT combo and was not disappointed.

Great Food and Atmosphere. Had the broiled Blue Catfish Sandwich! UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!

This restaurant was a GREAT find with fantastic service and delicious food in a clean, well-kept environment. From the daily special of rockfish to the roast beef sandwich- our group of 4 was VERY pleased with our lunch visit to Machodoc Creek Cafe. Highly recommend.

Cute little place right on the Marina. Little pricy but it's fresh so its expected. Super delicious!! I got the crab cake sliders and my boyfriend got one of the specials, a blackened rockfish sandwich. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be coming back!

Delicious food, fabulous view and relaxed atmosphere. Owners and chef interact with customers--make you feel like family! The next time we go, we will order take out as well.

Coming to the Cafe… I got the same sandwich - it was soooo great… my friend got the Rockfish salad … it was two large pieces on the salad. So delicious!!!! You have to try this great addition to King George!!!! My new place!!!!

We’ve been wanting to come here ever since we found out they were putting in a cafe. What a PERFECT SPOT!!!! It is beautiful there and the food is delicious!!! Best place in the area!!!

Fantastic rockfish tacos! a little expensive, but Absolutely worth it! supporting small business is ALWAYS more important than saving two dollars. a few additional menu options would be nice thoogh. maybe salsa with the chips. I'd pay for the add on!
