Cabin Heaven

We had our micro wedding (about 20 guests) here in May 2023. The property is absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Lacy is a wonderful wedding planner and is amazing to work with. The cabin was also amazing. The cake was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted and the bouquet was beautiful. I wanted a small intimate mountaintop wedding and this venue checked every box.

From the very start, Zan and Lacy proved to be very flexibility and responsive. They not only listened attentively to our vision but also went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was executed.

One of the standout features of our experience at Cabin Heaven was the unexpected and thoughtful gesture of additional decorations provided by Zan and Lacy. These charming embellishments added an extra layer of magic to our already picturesque mountain surroundings. During our visit, Zan and Lacy graciously took us on a tour of their property. They were incredibly responsive to our numerous questions and concerns, providing timely and helpful answers that eased our planning process.

Cabin Heaven was perfect for our elopement turned micro wedding. We did find ourselves wishing for a package option catering to slightly larger gatherings. Perhaps a package designed for around 35 guests would fill the gap between the intimacy of a micro wedding and the grandeur of a 100-guest affair. Nonetheless, this minor detail did not overshadow the overall excellence of our experience.

Cabin Heaven exceeded all our expectations for the perfect wedding venue! The picturesque mountains, the beautifully decorated arbor and decorations created a magical setting for our special day. For such a stunning venue, we found the price was extremely affordable which was an extremely important part of wedding planning for us. Lacy and Zan were exceptional, ensuring every detail was flawless, from planning to execution.
They had many options for add-ons that helped us truly customize the wedding to be our own dream come true.

It's hard to express in words how beautiful my wedding ceremony was at Cabin Heaven. We wanted a place in the mountains, but not too far from town, where we could feel close to nature but still have certain amenities. Our guests were completely enamored by this place. The cabin is the perfect place to unwind before the festivities, to get ready with the girls, and to take in some fresh mountain air in a moment of relaxation. Zan and Lacy took care of everything I needed for the ceremony and offered help all along the way. Our day went perfectly.

Used their elopement package for our small wedding with about 10 guests. The setting was absolutely beautiful and everything exceeded our expectations. A absolutely great value for the money and very easy to work with, all the details were taken care of. Very happy we went with this venue for our special day!

The most perfect place to get married! We did an elopement package and they were wonderful to work with and SO reasonably priced! Answered all my questions quickly, they accommodated the extra people we had when we realized we would go over the 20 person limit, the cake they provided was AMAZING (nothing but crumbs left and I don’t usually like cake) and we loved our photographer (also included in the package 😄) who took absolutely amazing pictures. All of our guests loved it and couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. We were beyond happy with our decision to get married here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to get married!

Attended a wedding here for my best friend and all I can say is wow, the view was absolutely perfect and just amazing. We got pretty lucky with the weather too. It is definitely a wedding I will always remember partly just because of how beautiful the location is. I will warn caution for part of the drive to and from the place though. I didn't have an issue with it but some people found it challenging and a bit scary to get there. I wouldn't let that stop you though.

This place is the 'getaway' we didn't know we needed! The hosts ensured everything was ready, available, clean, secure, and in-place . . . the views are AMAZING . . . we were close to and far enough away from 'civilization', so the location was perfect! 👌🏿

My husband and I originally planned for an outdoor wedding on this beautiful mountain top but rain had different plans. Lacy and Dan were in contact with me the whole week before watching the weather and discussing the best plan. The weather got to a point where we knew we would have to move it in the cabin. Thankfully they made the cabin absolutely beautiful the decor was amazing the fire was going and it was amazing. The photographer we got through them got amazing shots and even made photos in the rain stunning. I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day !

We had our small wedding at Cabin Heaven last week. We got the elopement package and everything was provided. On the day of our wedding, the weather did not allow us to hold the ceremony at the mountain top as it was raining. Lacy and Zan gave us options and accommodated us as much as they can. They were both very helpful and made us worry less about the horrible weather. It was very foggy and chilly that day which made our wedding pictures whimsical. We also rented the cabin and the view at the balcony was wonderful. If you’re thinking of a venue for your wedding, we recommend them as they are very flexible and accommodating.

Cabin Heaven made our experience so stress free and our day very special. They were so helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Loved our venue and working with them!

We had a wonderful, magical experience getting married at the Cabin Heaven! Everything came together so beautifully on the day of our wedding. The view is amazing up there. Had my wedding last year with all my loved ones at Cabin Heaven and oh my goodness, where do I begin. It was a dream come true! Brides, do not hesitate to book this location for your big day. From the Mountain Views & the perfect cozy cabin to end the night in with your hubby, to the awesome hosts that made the day go smooth, we were so happy and glad we stumbled upon this GEM. Our friends and family who flew or drove miles to be here are still talking about this beautiful day. We had it catered, white tent with lights, photo booth, dance floor, all taken care of by the hosts (Lacey and her husband), ALL ON A MOUNTAIN. So if you are second guessing- don’t. They will make your dream day possible! THANK YOU AGAIN CABIN HEAVIN!

My husband and I got married here and it was so beautiful! The Mountain view is amazing and it was the perfect backdrop to our wedding. Lacy and Zan were great throughout the whole process. We even got to stay at the cabin on the property which was so cute and cozy.

We absolutely enjoyed having our wedding/ elopement at Cabin Heaven. Lacy and her husband were so nice and kept things rolling for our allotted time to insure we got everything a bridal party would want- from the ceremony itself, flowers- that were beautiful, to the cake cutting- that cake is still being talked about btw, it was Dee-Lish, to the toast, to all the photos. It was perfect in every way. Coming in from out of town we didn't have to do a thing. The photographer she lined up, Amy, was just as sweet and did a wonderful job.
For an all inclusive venue, that provides all the must have's its definitely worth it. The views are spectacular. You wont be disappointed.. Go ahead and book them. We did, sight unseen and we couldn't be happier.

This cabin, with its incredible views, lives up to its name! We got lost on our way and were frustrated and tired, but as soon as we walked in the door, it all melted away...the views are incredible. The owners were fabulous and answered all our questions promptly...The cabin was stocked with just about everything you need to cook with...and the owners told us to bring groceries because we wouldnt want to leave and they were right! The fireplace was perfect, the deck overlooking the mountains, the stars at night...the firepit...I cant rave enough about this place...we saw wild turkeys, some beautiful bright blue birds...everything was perfect...thank you Lacy, Zan for a beautiful week!!!!!

I originally planned to have my wedding at cabin heaven last year (2020). Due to the pandemic we decided to elope at another location and just held a wedding reception/ celebration this past August at cabin heaven. Because of this extended amount of time- I spent a lot of time talking to and working with the venue.

Pros:
-An absolutely stunning, breath taking view. Really the reason for why we chose it in the first place.
-The owners were very flexible when there were some miscommunications from the beginning concerning the contract. We were not aware that we had to be off the property by 10pm, and that she was going to charge us for any guests over 100 when we initially agreed to, and invited more the year before. She was flexible with those details and changed the contract to allow us to do what we originally discussed and she also allowed for the tent rental company to pick up Monday which was nice.
-Affordable venue overall.

Cons
-Really from the beginning I would say communication and professionalism were not evident. The biggest frustration we had was that we were told for over a year they were planning to build a restroom on the field for guests. They said if the restroom was not finished they would provide “restroom trailers” for the day of. I specifically clarified that we did not want a port a potty for our wedding celebration and when we arrive the day of- that is what they had. When I brought it up to the venue owner she dismissed me and ignored my frustration and said that is what they have and I could pay $1200 to have a trailer delivered that day which is obviously impossible to arrange 5 hours before the wedding. Had I known before that there would be port a potties we would have gone with another venue or rented a trailer in advance.
-The venue owners had a pop up camper that was on the property that they were lodging in and it was not moved for the wedding day and we were not expecting that as it did not look professional.
-I left an important item at the cabin following the wedding. I reached out to the owner and she shared they were going to the cabin and would look for it. After several days I did not hear back regardless of several texts sent. I called the owner and she said they found it and I could meet her. I offered multiple opportunities to meet the owner and we agreed on a timeframe to meet up. Once I didn’t hear from her at all during the timeframe, she asked to meet up after the timeframe during the only time I was unable to meet. However, I said I was willing to leave my event and meet her and even shared a central location to meet and then I never heard back from her. I sent emails and texts and said I was willing to meet up or do a drop off in town. The only response I received was two days later. The owner shipped my item in the mail to my address and sent the receipt of 1- day priority shipping which was almost just as expensive as the item that I left. While I was grateful to finally receive the item, the owner then decided to subtract the cost of the shipping from our security deposit. There was ample communication and willingness on my part to pick up the item and how this small situation was handled was very frustrating and not professional what so ever.

The point I am hoping to get across is that this is in incredible location and view, but you really get what you pay for. Ultimately, we ended up spending the same amount of money as a venue with all the amenities because we had to bring a lot of stuff in. Here you just really have a cabin, a beautiful field and electricity. It is very simple and that is what we wanted and signed up for so if that is what you are looking for than great! It was the lack of communication and dismissive/ passive aggressive actions from the venue owners that cause me to not be able to recommend this venue to a bride who is hoping to enjoy a stress free wedding day.

Again- I truly hope the best for this venue and hopefully they may take our feedback and improve because it really is a beautiful place with a lot of potential.
