Stagecoach Pizza Kitchen

Wow! What a gem hiding in plain sight in downtown Chimney Rock. We kind of landed at this restaurant after being drawn to the spot to play mini golf amidst their scenic backdrop of the state park and river. After a fun round, we decided to grab dinner at the restaurant. It was fantastic. The pizzas were tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and prompt. My husband had the meatball sandwich and was blown away by how good it was - particularly the bread. We left full and content for a reasonable price. The next day of our stay was far busier and all of the town restaurants were slammed. Despite feeling like we should try something different, we each secretly wanted to have Stagecoach again, so we went back. This time the restaurant was very busy and the kitchen maxed out such that they actually stopped taking walk-ins about an hour before closing, which I appreciate as they didn’t want to keep people waiting. We were lucky enough to get their last table and had a second fantastic meal, this time trying the prosciutto sandwich and the chicken pesto sandwich as well as another round of pizza. The sandwiches were out of this world. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and again the bread was fantastic. We don’t know when we’ll be back, but when we are, we know where we’re going.

Wow! What a treat on America’s birthday … highly recommend “the fig, the pig and the goat” pizza!!! The waitress recommended it as her favorite and it was literally everything she said and more. The staff was so kind and caring. The live music was an added bonus. After hiking all day and playing in the river, our group of 10 (6 kids and 4 adults) will cherish this restaurant and memories forever! We will be back.

Excellent individual mountain pizzas. The picture is after eating over 1/2 the order. We tried spinach artichoke flat bread, meatlovers, margaritas pizzas. Took dessert chocolate cake to go. It was nice and quiet when we went. Cute decor.

The best food in chimney rock! This place is such a hidden gem with an awesome vibe and great staff. Located in the downstairs of the Broad River Inn, it’s one our favorite places for dinner and live music or a drink outside while listening to the rushing river. Locally owned and operated, the owners and staff make everyone feel so at home and constantly go above and beyond. Everything on the menu is great but my favorites are the Chopped Italian Salad and the Chicken Parm pizza. The mini golf is also so much fun and you can’t beat the view while you play!

Me and my son love this spot. I adore the Fig, Pig, and Goat, and he gets the Margarita pizza. There's a beautiful simplicity to what they are doing, the only downside is that they close early.

My partner and I were visiting from VA and we were surprised by this place! Walking in, the place felt cozy and inviting and the server was very attentive. She made sure our waters were always full and was very pleasant. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and it was bomb. We had just came back from kayaking in the cold pouring rain and it was exactly what we needed. Then we ordered the meatball hoagie and the pesto chicken pizza. My sandwich was flavorful and huge, and the pizza crust was just so light and crispy. We wish the pesto flavor came through more because we are such huge fans of it, but overall the meal was so good. We’re definitely coming back!

We enjoyed the pizza here tonight. It was fresh, hot, and very good! I highly recommend the tropical pig. Also, I agree with a prior review that their tapwater is amazing. We found out that this restaurant and inn are one of the few establishments on a water well. The water was very refreshing. I would recommend this place!

Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly, they even brought him a water bowl out. Pizza was perfect, light bubbly crust. Went well with a moscow mule. I’d stop again.

We stayed at the Broad River End and just kept on ending up at the Stage Coach every night. Tried out the pizza on the first night and it was phenomenal. The service was great so we decided to come back again. This time tried some appetizers and they were just as good. The staff remembered us and our orders. They had some live music that night and he was great. We really didn’t expect to love the restaurant as much as we did. We wanted to try out other places in the area but just kept ending up back at the Stage Coach every night.

My wife and I were staying at the Inn for our 41st wedding anniversary. We loved the inn as well as the food from the StageCoach Restaurant. Best pizza I ever had. Hats off to Kristen on making us feel at Home. She even called us by name when we checked in. We have already booked again for October. See you then!!!

Fantastic pizza and salad. Live entertainment was excellent. Everybody was focused on great service from the bartender to the food runner To the waitress. I highly recommend you go there for a meal with you. Visit Chimney Rock or Lake Lure

Pizza is the best in town and fantastic service! They use great ingredients, you can tell the cheese and pepperoni is high quality. My husband tried the calzone supreme today and it was quite tasty. We love that the pizzas are individually sized and reasonably priced as well.

Pizza was delicious, prices were very reasonable, and our server, Morgan, was excellent! Loved it here and will absolutely be back ❤

We really enjoyed a full evening here playing mini golf, then beer and pizza. The mini golf was a real treat and nicely done, winding down along the river. The pizzas are high quality, and a good variety too. The owners are friendly, and it sounds like this quaint little inn will be evolving with some pleasant options for the village.

We were in Lake Lure for our grandsons wedding,and looking for something good for lunch.
We definitely found it at Stagecoach Pizza 🍕..originally from Chicago, and Pizza is one of our favorite food groups!
Try it ! You won't be disappointed.

Great place to eat. Fresh food & The atmosphere is wonderful with friendly,customer service focused associates. A game of miniature golf can also be enjoyed after or before a great meal.

It's absolutely terrible, just terrible that I have to drive 600 miles to get a new craving of mine. It's a small little place inside of an inn that's kinda off the map with pizza and sandwiches with a beer menu. We had excellent service and the best pizza I've ever had. Everyone was very pleased with their food.
