I’m kind of a new fly fisherman and I was wanting to upgrade the line on my first rod/reel. I went in wanting someone to point me in the correct direction of what I should chose. The guy there was very friendly and helpful. Got my new line on the reel for me and was very affordable. My new go to shop.

I'm very new to flyfishing and Matt was extremely friendly, helpful, and generous. The pricing is very competitive and they have all the things you need to start fishing and even fly tying. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to give me advice and select flys. I definitely will be coming back!

Great customer service! I called and asked if they would put in my fly line in my new reel and they did it happily. The owner showed me the knots to tie and was extremely helpful. Great little fly shop. I definitely recommend

Matt is the man! Knowledgeable about every aspect of fly fishing/fly tying. He will suggest different materials to tie a fly with the same results catching fish. You need something, he will order it for you. Interested in vintage fly rods/reels he always has amazing things from time to time. Looking for something, let him know and he will call you if he gets it in the store. Bass Pro may have a bigger selection of product, but they no longer have a human in their shop to help you. Matt is always available to help!

Excellent fly shop. Owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm getting back in the game and he was real cool about answering my probably stupid questions without making me feel stupid. Prices were same or better than Amazon and better than Bass Pro. Glad to give my money to a local business rather than big box corporations .

Great down home atmosphere, Matt the owner is very knowledgeable about fly fishing and fly tying. Nice selection of materials. Very helpful staff. Has free fly tying classes on Thursday nights and hosts a Saturday fly tying group.

One of my favorite fly shops ever and the best in the KC metro area. Helpful friendly staff that doesn't have their nose stuck up their butt. Rods, lines, leaders, waders, flies, and trying materials/accessories all right there.

I always like to deal with local businesses if I can and was tickled to find this shop in my area. The staff are very friendly and helpful and have a the experience to help even new fly fishers like myself without making me feel like I don't know what I'm doing.
