Today I got the Stuffed Rigatoni Alla Rosa it was absolutely delicious and I wish they had had it on their menu all the time. It definitely would be my favorite. My husband got the Chicken and Waffle sandwich with fries and he loved it. We're both ready to go back there to eat another GREAT meal.

This place was so fun! My family is from out of town and we came here for a little dinner. The food is amazing and the service is super nice just a little wait though since it's a busy friday😁 the owner came to our table and talked to us for a bit then gave my dad a tour of the place. All in all a great place to eat and a great place for the family.

We usually eat here several times a month, it is always very good. We love all the specials they offer and that you are open on Mondays! I had the sablefish special and my husband had the lamb chops. From a sandwich, salad, and all the main dishes the chef does a phenomenal job. Great food always!!

Had some time to kill in the area so a friend recommended this place. Unassuming from the outside but inside was very nice. Sat at the bar, everything was clean. Bartender was friendly and greeted me as soon as I sat down. I had lobster bisque, one of the specials (shrimp burger - the patty was completely made from shrimp) and baklava cheesecake. All three I would highly recommend, the exceeded all expectations that I had and then some. All the food came out surprisingly quick which is always a bonus. When the bill came I thought it was extremely reasonable for the level of quality they delivered. Do your self a favor and check this place out it was fantastic.

Came here for Valentines day dinner and it was truly awesome. I had the surf and turf burger and the lady had the stacked meatloaf, along with the gyro dip as our appetizer. All of the food was delicious, service was impeccable and beautiful atmosphere as well. We will certainly be back for more!!

We stopped here last night because another local restaurant that a friend of ours owns was unexpectedly closed that night, so we tried By George.
Let me tell you,as soon as we walked in, I was very surprised. I expected a small, possibly dingy place, but what I found was spacious, clean, busy and beautiful !

The waitress took our order quickly and I asked if it was always this busy. She said no one expected them to be this busy on a Monday night. (But since out friends restaurant was closed that night and only a few blocks away, we knew why).

We placed our order and had a longer than expected wait, but, again, they were unexpectedly busy.

The food was great, nice sized portions, the waitress was a gem and the prices were reasonable.

So, no complaints for By George.
I've been hearing about this place, but didn't expect something of this caliber in Monessen PA.

Hidden gem of the area. Clean and modern inside and the food is very good. I usually get the lamb gyro and just may be the best I have had. I have heard many others compliment the other entrees and sides. Also the menu is fairly large and would be a great place to take your date or family. So far the staff has been pleasant. I recommend you stop in and try for yourselves.

i have been eating here foreverrrr and just recently found out about the buffalo chicken pasta - i am obsessed!!!! never disappointed !!!! so amazing & great people!!!

Best hidden jem of a restaurant there is!! Food is better than the high-priced places in Pittsburgh. And the prices are incredible! The place is always busy, even on a Monday. The head chef really knows how to prepare and price meals so that people just keep coming back!

Highly recommend By George restaurant! The service, quality, and overall experience were excellent and our visit was completed with a kitchen tour and dessert sampler. George and his team provided our family an outstanding evening that will not be forgotten!

Had chicken and shrimp, very good. Standard baked potato and honey glazed carrots. Loved the carrots. Service was great, prompt and attentive.

Heard about this place from Melanie on Star 100.7. She mentioned how awesome their gyros were so I thought we should give a try as we are always looking for new places to go. We live in Greensburg so it was a 45 min. drive and let me tell you it did not disappoint.❤ So worth the drive. I ordered gyro dip. OMG I could have just eaten that for dinner. Never heard of gyro dip before but now I want to try to make it at home. I had the salmon salad 😋 and he had the ribeye with side salad and tots. I tried the ribeye and it was melt in your mouth good. The service was good and shortly after we arrived there was a wait. We arrived around 5 on Friday. GPS took me left off main road to a dirt road facing a railroad track. I wasn't until I went to turn around that I saw the place being some trees🤦🏼‍♀it is actually located next to a physical therapy place all of which is accessible at a red light. They also have a good size bar. Highly recommend.

Could possible be the best food I've ever eaten - will return for sure

We had a group of 5. We were seated in less than 10 minutes on a Friday night, and the restaurant was full. Our waitress was at our table almost immediately for drink orders; she was very friendly and efficient. The salmon dinner was the only one I would give 2 stars. The top of the Salmon was hard and the inside was rather tasteless and dry. It was well done; I ordered it medium. My side of yellow potatoes were only warm and kind of not cooked long enough for me. Under other circumstances (this occasion was a celebration) I would have sent it back.
HOWEVER, the rest of the meals were fantastic! The other four meals were the pork chop, the lamb chops, the 18 oz ribeye steak and the stuffed rigatoni’s with shrimp. I have never cared for lamb but my brother shared his and it was moist and delicious. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare, as ordered, and said to be really good. The pork chop was amazing. 3 of us had the asparagus it was seasoned perfectly and was tasty. 2 of my family had the mashed garlic potatoes and said they were very good. My husband loved the rigatoni.
To round things up, we all thought the place was great and would come back again. The waitress was prompt, efficient and friendly. Even though my dinner was a flop I still gave 5 stars because everything else was top notch!

By George is a hidden diamond resturant which of was in the center of Manhattan’s busy city world, you’d never get a table, because the food, the bar service, and the relaxed atmosphere is just too good. If you haven’t tried By George & enjoy Lamb, Steaks, or Chicken dishes, you must treat yourself to this incredible food experience!! This is my favorite local restaurant.

Being That I'm From New Orleans, Louisiana......We Have Our Own Taste, But I'm Telling You All, "I Will Revisit This Spot As a Must" The Bartender & The Chef's, Are Friendly, Kind, & Courteous. The Food Was Fresh As Phyuck (Excuse My Language), Nice & Hot On Very Clean Plates With Properly Sterilized Utensils.

I have had so many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Took my mom here for dinner tonight after the recommendation of a friend. I got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and carrots and she got the meatloaf. The food was excellent, the staff was very attentive and nice. We ended are meal with a piece of the baklava cheesecake (honestly the best piece of cheesecake I've ever had), before the check was even brought my mom was already making plans to bring her brother and his wife. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends highly recommend.

Very tasty food, "good food guaranteed" as our hotel receptionist would say. They were following covid precautions. The staff were nice as well. I will go there again without hesitation to try the rest of the menu. It turned out be a local's favorite place.
